Tristen Gale's eyes widened when he spotted a vague shadow in the room, sitting on the sofa. If it weren't for the street lights outside, he wouldn't even have spotted the figure.
He instantly tried to circulate his ethereal energy, but…
"What the fuck! My ethereal core—"
"Surprised your ethereal core is sealed? Well, you can only bla your own foolishness. You even drove off Typhoon Lord from keeping an eye on you. Tsk tsk, you just have too much confidence just because you are a prince." The figure mocked.
"You!! What...who are you and what did you do to ?" Tristen Gale asked as beads of sweat started to flow down his face. But behind his back, he slowly took out a talisman from his spatial ring.
"Don't bother. I have already set up a Heaven Ethereal Grade barrier around this room. So no matter how many transmissions you try to send, they won't leave this room, and Typhoon Lord would be still busy doing his investigation, haha."
"Fuck...damn it...why is this not working...." Tristen Gale nervously muttered as he tried to send multiple transmissions but got no feedback.
He threw it away and pointed his finger at the figure, and said, "Who sent you? Whoever it is, I promise to pay you...10 tis the amount. If you do anything to , not even your corpse would be left behind after my people catch you."
Tristen Gale tried to sound firm and unafraid as best as he could, but his heart was trembling like a leaf inwardly. He had never faced such a situation where even his cultivation was sealed. He couldn't understand how it even got sealed in the first place and panicked inwardly being caught in a helpless situation.
He thought that the figure in front of him was sent to assassinate him, and this was the first ti an assassin even managed to get near him and hold him hostage.
It was true that he told Typhoon Lord not to keep a watch on him while he indulged in debauchery. However, he knew that Typhoon Lord did leave behind a couple of bodyguards at the Low Levels of the Sky Ethereal Realm including even one at the Middle Levels of the Sky Ethereal Realm for his protection.
If sothing had happened to his guards, he would have known it. But it seed as if the guards weren't even aware of the intruder. He couldn't understand how the person in front of him even got inside, evading his guards.
The figure laughed mockingly, "Hahaha...why would your people try to catch when you would be walking around well and good?"
The figure slowly got up and walked forward as the street light slowly illuminated the figure's face.
Tristen Gale staggered backward, and his eyes beca round when he saw the face of the person in front of him.
"No...it can't be. You are her servant!" Tristen Gale howled with an expression of panic and bewildernt.
Damien smiled, "Didn't I say you would enjoy the tea I served you?"
Tristen Gale's eyes flashed as he said, "You drugged ?!"
"Well, what else do you expect when you are harassing my woman?" Damien said as his eyes narrowed.
Damien had slipped in a Rank 4 Pill in Tristen Gale's tea that could drug anyone below the Sky Ethereal Realm easily without leaving any proof.
"Woman? You can't be talking about Lily ughhh…" Before he could finish his sentence, Damien rushed towards him and clutched his neck.
"You dare to say her na? We are so in love with each other that no other n in this continent should dream about marrying her. When I am done with you, no one would even realize that you are dead, hahaha."
Tristen Gale's face beca pale as his body trembled with fear. He didn't understand what Damien ant by saying that no one would know he is dead. Most of all, he couldn't believe Damien's claim that Lily was his woman.
How could the Celestial Princess fall in love with her own servant? Completely absurd! He has to be lying…These thoughts kept him from going mad. Even if he was beaten like a dog, he wouldn't believe it.
"Hrkk...you are...lying...no matter what...you won't get away with this...let go of ..hkkkk…" Tristen Gale choked out while clutching Damien's hand.
"Oh...in your afterlife, you will watch get away hehe…"
*Snap*
Tristen Gale's neck slumped down as Damien broke his neck.
Shackles Of Death!
Without wasting any ti, he instantly used his Anti-God Arts.
"Ughhhh...it still hurts....uggghhh…"
Damien kneeled in pain as he dropped his corpse.
Within a few seconds, he slumped back on the floor, tired and exhausted after slicing away 3% of his soul essence.
'Haa...I never thought I would rip my soul essence for a douchebag. I should thank the Ancestor for giving that Heaven Ethereal grade artifact, though.' Damien sighed wearily.
Damien knew that Typhoon Lord might co to Tristen Gale's rescue without the help of the barrier created using the artifact.
After his recent soul breakthrough, Damien had recovered around 8% of his soul essence while removing most of the backlash he suffered before.
But now, after slicing off 3% of his soul essence, he had about 55% of his soul essence intact. However, Damien thought that sacrificing 3% of his soul essence for soone at the Seventh Level of the Earth Ethereal Realm was fair enough.
*Crack*
Tristen Gale's bones reverted to their original position, and his black eyes ca into view as he opened them. A circular jet black mark also appeared on his forehead, which disappeared shortly as his eyes turned back to normal.
He slowly got up and kneeled before Damien in reverence, "Master!"
"Heh...good boy, kneeling before like the dog you are. I hope you rember all these in your next life after I am done with you. It would be quite a sight to see your reaction." Damien sneered as he looked at his first human slave.
However, despite hearing such spiteful remarks, Tristen Gale's face's expression didn't change an ounce. It was still of obeisance and absolute loyalty.
Damien slowly got up and looked at the undead Tristen Gale kneeling before him, "Your na will be 'Gale Dog' hereafter. After I leave, unless I give an order, you will continue doing things as you did before and not let anyone be suspicious about you. Of course, you won't harass Lily any longer as well. Is that understood?"
Gale Dog bowed deeply and said in a servile tone, "Yes, Master. I dare not neglect your orders."
There was absolutely no trace of his previous loftiness or even a tinge of arrogance in his eyes. Even if one's brains were smacked, they wouldn't dare to believe that the second prince of the Gale Empire can act like this.
"Good."
——
A week passed, and Damien had been training Lily in sword mastery and educating her about certain 'cultural' things.
anwhile, Valentina had stabilized her cultivation and read all the books Damien had given her, which was way faster than he expected.
She was also asking him for quite a while when they would be leaving. Damien didn't understand why Valentina was so eager to leave for the Xeton Empire. He thought maybe she liked to travel and explore the outside world instead of staying cooped up inside.
In the inner courtyard, two naked figures were hugging each other tightly on the bed as if they were afraid of letting go of each other.
Today was Damien's last day in the Rong Empire, and after teaching Lily his final lessons in sword mastery, he had so extra 'rigorous' training with her to create as many beautiful mories as he can till his return.
"So, today is the day, right?" Lily asked as she looked at Damien's eyes with an anxious expression.
