A tall middle aged man of 220cm with thick beard and mustache with a deep scar between his eyes going from his forehead to his left cheek is sitting on the throne, while wearing black dress with a design of a western gold dragon covering his body showing outline of his muscular body.
The current Emperor and second strongest Battle Mage in the continent after Oliver, Harold D Chaos.
Currently, he is listening to his pri minister, Blaive. A man with long hair almost touching the ground with glass specs on one of his eyes.
"Your highness, after tomorrow earthquake ten house in the civilian district with another two hundred fifty six are badly damaged and three thousand with minor cracks has been reported till now with dead count of 3396 with more than ten thousand civilians has been seriously injured"

Aside from that other nobles and their relatives living in the region also been affected and the eastern side of the outer wall of the imperial city also had collapsed"
Hearing that the Emperor got a headache and felt tired. He had been getting the bad news one after another after the earthquake.
"Have you learned about where the epicenter of the earthquake was?"asked Emperor Harold.
Hearing that Blaive shaked his head.
When a guard entered the throne room and bow down"Your highness, Grandmaster Arbus have co and waiting outside"
Listening to the guard, Emperor Harold and pri minister looked at each other and frowned.
They are very well aware of the kind of person Arbus is. A venomous snake who is always ready to bite on the neck of his own master and whenever he had co or anything related to him occurred. It's always bad news related to soone's death or terror. He is also one of the reasons that Harold can't even calmly sleep at night.
"Only, if he was not the most powerful and almost undefeated man in the continent. I would have got rid of him"throat Emperor Harold with bitter expression. But he had no choose to et him.
"Let him co inside"said Emperor Harold
Hearing that guard nod and after soti Arbus entered the room.
As he walked inside on his two legs. Both Harold and Blaive were shocked on seeing the man before them and their expression turned serious.
Entering the throne room, Arbus didn't even bother to bow down to Emperor Harold to show his respect instead he was looking at Harold without any fear and without getting influenced by the power of the throne and it's authority.
But Emperor Harold and Blaive didn't ntion it. They have already gotten used to Arbus behaviour and his indifferent attitude to all people and his arrogant behaviour and they are helpless to do anything about it.
But today they left that the Arbus standing before them is a little different from the Arbus they know. Though he did not bow down, he didn't provoke him nor did he have an arrogant expression on his face and look at the Emperor as if they are equal.
Harold smiled"congratulations, Grandmaster Arbus. You have found cure for the paralysed legs of yours"
Hearing that Arbus smiled wisely"So need for the fake congratulations. I both know that you will never stop finding the way to kill nor can you feel happy due to my recovery. I have just co today to inform you of that. I am leaving the Chaos Empire and resign from my position of Imperial Teacher"
Hearing that Harold raised his eyebrows and his expression because serious and said in deep voice"Is Grandmaster unsatisfied with the position of Imperial Teacher"
Arbus shaked his head"This position has no aning to now. One for the things I want you to have.."saying that he looked out a pile of docunts in well organised manner and hand it over to pri minister Blaive
"What are these piles of papers about?"asked Blaive curiously.
"Evidence"said Arbus without any change in expression.
"Evidence of the dirty deeds of Duke Dragos and Duke Santon with all the cases. They and their families are involved in, which are against the empire. I want you to make correct use of it and get rid of these harmful and invisible slow poison, which had started to affect the entire empire"said Arbus.
"Think of this as my parting gift"said Arbus with a smile and looked at Emperor Harold.
"I know that Duke Dragos is a close friend of yours and I don't expect you to trust my words. So you can take your ti and verify them and one more thing. Both of them are dead now"
Hearing that Emperor Harold stood up from the throne with shocked expression and looked at him with grave expression.
"What did you say?"asked Emperor Harold in shock as his body trembled. Even Blaive was not able to calm down.
Both the Duke were powerful magic champions. Who can kill them so easily? They have not even heard of any news of them coming to Imperial City nor received any information of them dying. Not only will it affect the political scenario of the empire but the influence and overall strength of Chaos Empire.
"Like, I said before, they are now dead. Yesterday evening they ca to et and an unknown boy entered the palace, and tried to kill . While both of them died protecting "said Arbus with a thin smile like he doesn't feel any compassion or sadness for the people who had died protecting him.
This made Harold doubt Arbus but he cannot find any reason for Arbus to lie to him. He had known Arbus for many years and he is a straight and arrogant bastard with no respect for any one and treats others as tools to fulfill his desire. But never had he lied.
"Well, I have done my last service to the empire and now it's ti I leave.
Right do a favor and let use the ergency military teleporter of Blackre city"said Arbus.
"Why do you want to go to Blackre City?"asked Harold with narrow eyes and a deep voice.
Just two days ago, Professor fisto and Louie and his troops with his daughter Froleytia and new graduates from imperial academy had left for the ancient battlefield to survey about recent changes.
"Don't be like that. I am not going to cause so trouble. I just wanted to et my family mbers"Said Arbus with a cheerful smile.
Hearing that Emperor Harold and Blaive looked at each other.
They are very well aware that Arbus has no family mbers who are still alive and doubtfully looked at him.
"If you guys don't believe . You can co with . Hand to hand, I will introduce my family mbers to you"said Arbus sincerely.
Emperor Harold frowned. Even if he wants to go and keep an eye on him until his daughter doesn't return back, his duty as an emperor doesn't allow him to leave the capital for too long and looks to pri minister Blaive for a solution. Not only is he pri minister but also his advisor and had a large influence in the Chaos Empire.
Seeing that the Emperor is looking at him and fully understands what the Emperor wants to say.
Blaive nodded"If the emperor is absent for one day. I can sohow manage but will have to wait for your opinion on important matters. As for the current chaotic situation of imperial city. I can sohow managed with other ministers until emperor return within night"
Hearing that Emperor Harold looked at Arbus"I will follow you. I still cannot trust you and you are well aware of the reason"
Arbus smiled in reply.
The next mont they were standing before the military teleporter room used my military in ergency cases only.
And they stepped inside the teleporter and ca out the other end.
On the other end of the teleporter. What they saw on first ti coming out was the disorderly military camp and soldiers running everywhere moving the rocks and cleaning the surrounding. After yesterday's earthquake had turned the military camps upside down.
But still the soldiers noticed the presence of Harold and stopped their work and assembled.
The commander in charge of the Chaos Empire military forces bowed to both Emperor Harold and Arbus with respect.
"Your majesty, what has brought you here?"asked the Commander with a nervous expression. It was the first ti he is standing in front of the emperor directly and his presence alone is making him feel suffocation and cold sweat to appear on his forehead.
While Emperor Harold was looking at Arbus from the corner of his eyes.
"Take us to the guest mansion of Blackre City"said Arbus without any delay.
