The other guests shared the sa thoughts.

The six of them hesitated back and forth, and no one had the nerve to be the first to perform for the villagers.

Seeing the villagers looking at them like they were watching monkeys, Qin Yutian couldn’t hold back. He was the youngest and wanted to show gentlemanly conduct, so he took a step forward and bowed deeply at ninety degrees.

"Hello everyone, I’m Captain Qin Yutian of the AK team, and I’m here to bring you a dance."

Villagers: "0.0"

Qin Yutian: "." He had never experienced such a cold reception.

But even with the pressure staring him down, he closed his eyes and danced with all his might.

However, even after finishing the dance, the villagers were still the sa, motionless.

[Hahaha, I’m dying of laughter, Qin Yutian: I really can’t warm up this crowd!]

[The villagers’ faces are all saying: What are you talking about?]

[Oh dear, this is exactly like when my grandma watches my idol dance. My grandma even asked : Does he have fleas?!]

After Qin Yutian’s performance, he bowed again to thank the audience, but as expected, not a single villager chose him.

Qin Yutian looked up at the sky: Well, it seems like he’ll have to sleep on the street tonight.

Seeing Qin Yutian like this, the other guests got even more anxious, but they couldn’t not perform, so in the end, for the sake of finding a place to sleep, they just bit the bullet.

Fang Zhuyue, who initially beca famous for her looks, went up and sang a popular song for the villagers, with the sa outco as Qin Yutian.

Zhu Xiu’an mulled it over repeatedly and simply gave up, resorting to sweet-talking the villagers, pleading with them earnestly.

Unfortunately, the villagers looked at his fashionable studded leather jacket with disdain, shaking their heads. Soone even said that his grandson would never wear such a spiky outfit!

Three people in a row returned disappointed.

Zhong Yulu had been observing from the side for a long ti. Her mind worked quickly. Seeing that popular singing and dancing were ineffective, she started to think.

These villagers didn’t seem to have much exposure to the internet. She recalled a children’s song her grandma had taught her when she was young and began to sing it softly.

Zhong Yulu’s voice was soft and sweet. Although the lyrics were in the local dialect and the villagers of Ping’an Village couldn’t quite understand, the children liked it. A little boy tugged at his grandma’s sleeve and raised his hand to choose Zhong Yulu.

Zhong Yulu was the first to secure accommodation, and the guests were so excited that they almost jumped up.

[Wuwuwu, I’m crying my eyes out; this children’s song is from our area, Lu Lu sings it too beautifully!]

[Please release the song!!! @Life Experience program team]

[I recorded it, deciding to listen to it every night as a lullaby!]

The live broadcast viewers were healed by this children’s song, spontaneously urging the program team to let Zhong Yulu record the song.

Ji Fengyuan, after hearing Zhong Yulu’s song, looked almost entranced by her. Even with caras around, his gaze was completely blatant and unabashed.

When it was his turn to perform, he already had a basic understanding of how the villagers chose. Basically, as long as the kids liked it, it was fine, so he chose a children’s play and began performing on the spot.

The audience in the live broadcast room were stunned to see Ji Fengyuan perform a children’s play live.

[Wow, worthy of being a movie star, the way he plays the monkey is uncanny!]

[I think the deer perford the best!!! (Here’s a shout-out to Zhong Yulu, hehe)]

[Ji Fengyuan’s acting is really good, who else would the villagers vote for if not him?]

A children’s play touched the hearts of many kids in the village.

Quite a few kids tugged at their grandparents’ sleeves, prompting them to choose Ji Fengyuan.

Ji Fengyuan directly received the highest votes, 6 votes.

Finally, only Ji Xizhi was left.

However, the first five guests had basically already perford, especially with both Zhong Yulu and Ji Fengyuan being outstanding. Ji Xizhi wasn’t good at singing and dancing, and her acting was no match for Ji Fengyuan’s. Nobody really had any expectations for her.

The other guests began to dawdle, trying to negotiate with the program team about possibly living with Zhong Yulu and Ji Fengyuan.

Ji Xizhi stood before the villagers.

"I heard that at this ti every night, everyone watches TV at the village chief’s house. Since I’ve delayed your viewing ti today, let perform a live version of ’Today’s Law’ for you!"

Upon hearing the familiar show, the villagers, young and old, all shouted in unison, "Yes!!!"

The other guests: ?

Live broadcast room: ??

Director Wang: ??? What did she just say?

Before everyone could react, Ji Xizhi had already started.

"In Jiuyin Town, Yong’an County, there was once a Zhang family, who made their living by cutting wood. One day, while chopping wood, this Zhang family discovered a bloody coat under the woodpile. Following that, the Zhang family’s wife began to have recurring dreams of relatives being murdered..."

Ji Xizhi casually modified a classic case and began to speak.

Her speech was clear and articulate, each case she narrated seed to co alive, capturing the audience’s attention.

Many of the villagers present were absorbed in listening.

It wasn’t just the villagers, even the other five guests, the program staff, and even the live broadcast viewers were all getting anxious.

"After days of tracking, the police found that the murderer was actually ---"

When Ji Xizhi paused here, the villagers suddenly got anxious.

"Who was the murderer?! Was it that old Zhang man?!"

"No, no, it must be the neighbor of the Zhang family, otherwise, why would he run so fast!"

The live broadcast room also started to discuss.

[I got goosebumps listening, unsure if I should say it, but Ji Xizhi’s eloquence is really good!]

[Ahhh, I also really want to know the ending, can’t we hear the conclusion first?!]

[I’m following a horror story in a reality show?! Ridiculous!]

[Why does this case feel a bit familiar?! But I just can’t rember!]

[Ji Xizhi must have stolen this story from sowhere, how could the infamous plagiarist Ji co up with sothing of her own!]

On the village site, not only did the villagers start urging, but even the other five guests were curiously inquiring.

But Ji Xizhi wouldn’t speak. She looked at the sky and calmly said, "It’s getting dark, and I still don’t have a place to stay!"

Upon hearing this, the villagers breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh, girl, finding you a place to stay is simple. You can pick anywhere in the village!"

"Exactly! My house, stay at my house tonight!"

"It should be my house, my son just renovated it for this year; you’ll stay there, young lady!"

"Oh, what are you all fighting for? I’m the village chief, I decide she’ll stay at my house!"

The villagers of Ping’an Village almost started a scuffle over Ji Xizhi, and it was only when the village chief stepped in that things were cald.
