Ji Xizhi didn’t have a role, and that was decided earlier.
The purpose of this episode of "Life Experience" is no longer to shoot the micro-movie, but instead to help Sun Qianqian.
It’s actually more convenient for Ji Xizhi not to participate in acting; she had studied so filming techniques before and could just serve as a photographer.
Once the roles were set, the program team took care of organizing the scripts, costus, cueing the lines, and so on.
Ji Xizhi took the opportunity now to go to the police station to make a statent.
Before leaving, she proactively asked Zhong Yulu about it.
Zhong Yulu raised the script in her hand: "Zhi Zhi, it’s not that I don’t want to go with you, but I haven’t finished morizing these lines yet, so I don’t have ti to go over; maybe you should go first, and if more help is needed later, I’ll go?"
Ji Xizhi looked at her plainly: "Really?"
"You seem to have only about a dozen lines in the script, is it hard to rember?"
[Zhong Yulu is probably making excuses to avoid going, right? With just about a dozen lines, I could morize them in a flash on the way there!]
[What do you guys know? Our Lu Lu needs to thoroughly understand the character. For every role she’s played, she writes a character biography, whether it’s a main or side character, she always works hard!]
[Ji Xizhi can’t do it herself and mocks others, does she even know her own level?]
But Ji Xizhi indeed didn’t an to mock.
She had looked at the script when ng Tu finished writing it before. For such a brief half-hour micro-movie script, glancing over it twice would almost allow her to rember it.
For a role with just a dozen lines, even adding a character introduction wouldn’t take more than a few minutes.
Zhong Yulu also felt stifled by Ji Xizhi’s question.
She used the lines as an excuse, knowing Ji Xizhi wasn’t acting, so Director Wang didn’t print the script for Ji Xizhi.
Zhong Yulu subconsciously asked outright: "How do you know my character’s lines?"
Ji Xizhi: "When ng Tu finished writing, didn’t everyone look at the script?"
Zhong Yulu: "That was just a glance..."
Zhong Yulu paused abruptly at that mont.
She recalled Ji Xizhi’s high scores in exams and suddenly asked:
"Did you really morize it all?"
"You’re playing the role of Chuntao, the daughter of the female lead’s neighbor, gentle and sunny in nature, skilled at embroidery, with a total of eleven lines, the first one is..."
Ji Xizhi opened her mouth and recited Zhong Yulu’s character setup from her script, rembering the lines clearly.
Zhong Yulu’s feet felt cold listening to this.
Ji Xizhi had only looked at the script once, yet she really morized all of it!
This made the excuse Zhong Yulu just found seem like a joke.
Having acted in several dramas already, including lead roles, yet she hadn’t morized these dozen lines.
Ji Xizhi, who never acted, morized it at a glance.
Comparatively, Zhong Yulu felt Ji Xizhi was hitting her face directly, a burning pain.
[Refreshing! Surely, it’s Zhi Zhi; which director wouldn’t like her? Uwu~]
[What’s the use of morizing lines? She doesn’t understand acting at all; stop praising her!]
[At least better than so who can’t morize even the few lines, micro-movies don’t have post-dubbing!]
Zhong Yulu’s ears rang for quite so ti before she said stiffly: "I didn’t pay attention, didn’t know I had so few lines. I’ll go with you to make the statent, I can morize on the way."
Zhong Yulu decided firmly to go.
However, Ji Xizhi lightly said, "No need, you should focus on cueing the lines first, I’ll go by myself, you can go if your help is needed later!"
Having said that, she didn’t wait for Zhong Yulu to speak again and quickly stepped out the door.
Ji Xizhi didn’t actually suspect Zhong Yulu anymore; it’s just that with Brother Sleep’s matter, the evidence should be all there, and Zhong Yulu’s part isn’t lacking, so if she went it might not be of help.
Zhong Yulu had initially approached her with retrospective apology, so she ntioned it offhand; now since Zhong Yulu wasn’t willing, Ji Xizhi didn’t plan to force her, as Sun Qianqian’s matter was more important.
Ji Xizhi softened her voice while leaving, Zhong Yulu felt yet another slap in the face, utterly embarrassed.
She didn’t even need to look at the comnts now, knowing there would surely be people calling her fake and pretentious!
Zhong Yulu clutched the script, stood there for quite a while, eventually chased after Ji Xizhi’s steps out the door.
"Zhi Zhi, I also..."
Ji Xizhi and the program team’s car just happened to drive past her, leaving behind a trail of exhaust.
Zhong Yulu’s last word "go" was completely drowned out.
