Defeating a Legendary Rank Boss was sothing that no known player had ever accomplished. It was an almost impossible challenge that required a coordinated team, exceptional skills, and advanced teamwork strategies.
There were several reasons why fighting a Legendary Rank Boss was so difficult. First of all, these bosses had a huge amount of health, which ant that they could take a lot of damage before being defeated, perhaps as much damage as several high-level tanks. In addition, they often had devastating abilities and attacks that could deal a lot of damage to high-level players, sotis even killing them in one hit.
Another reason was that high-level bosses like Lord Varkin usually required a very specific strategy to defeat. Players had to be prepared with the right skills, the right equipnt, and most importantly, a good strategy to defeat these powerful bosses.
And when it ca to Lord Varkin, the difficulty was even greater, because not only was he possibly a legendary character with unique abilities that made him even more powerful, but he also seed to be a boss that was crucial to the history of the world of Rise Online, which is why The Eye of Hermodr was looking for him.
Given Lord Varkin's passive yet imposing stance, Kaizen thought there was a possibility that he might even be able to predict and adapt to every player's movents, making it automatically difficult to predict his next moves, since he would not have an attack pattern, but rather a reaction pattern, making him much broader and more difficult than any other boss Kaizen had ever faced. In addition, as a Legendary Rank creature, if he was not only very resistant to any kind of non-critical damage, there was also the possibility that he would be able to regenerate quickly from any damage he took, which would an that it would take a lot of damage in a short amount of ti to really hurt him.
Another factor that would make fighting Lord Varkin so difficult would be if his combat experience was calculated by a more advanced AI than the other creatures. In other words, he could be a master of the art of the sword, among other things. Finally, one last factor to consider when fighting a Legendary Rank Boss is the psychological pressure that players would face. Knowing that they are facing such a powerful and feared enemy could affect the player's ability to think clearly and act accurately. The tension and adrenaline of combat could cause the player to make critical mistakes that could lead to defeat.
In short, fighting Lord Varkin was an extrely difficult and challenging task that required skill, strategy, and patience. The players involved had to be prepared to face a powerful and cunning enemy capable of adapting quickly and responding intelligently to his movents.
All in all, Kaizen knew that working alone this ti was far from the best option. So when he returned to the capital with a teleportation crystal and entered his shop, he imdiately went to his smithy to begin hamring steel and working out the thoughts and ideas in his mind to create not only good weapons, but also a plan that could lead to his victory.
After a few minutes, Kaizen sat down, panting. He looked at the burning tal in front of him and saw the flas dancing in shades of red and orange, reflected in his sweaty face, as he had just pounded the steel very hard for several minutes. It seed that the sound of the hamr hitting the anvil and the tal was still echoing in the empty shop. anwhile, he was trying to connect Lord Varkin to everything that had happened in the Library Square of the Tretidian capital nearly two months ago. Several players were still talking about the epic battles of that event, but only one would not leave Kaizen's mind: his battle with Sigurd.
One of Sigurd's drops when he was defeated was an item called the 'Key to the Gates of Nilfheim', and Kaizen had always thought that this item was sothing he could only use when he beca an Evolved, since that was the only way to travel to another world, except that eting the second Guardian of the Gates of Nilfheim while he was still a non-evolved made him think that maybe being an Evolved was not the only way to go to another world.
In any case, Kaizen didn't want to spend too much ti thinking about what he might get if he could defeat Lord Varkin. Since the forge was a sacred place to him, the only place where he could be hysterically excited and overflow with power, he worked without rest for a few more hours, sweating but still concentrating on every hamr blow and movent. Soon the tal beca even hotter, and he could feel the heat radiating into his face.
As he worked, his mind went beyond the forge, thinking of strategies. He knew he couldn't face it alone, so he began to think about who he could invite to help him. Kaizen was not soone who had many friends, in fact, it was rare that I worked with players as partners, only this ti it would be mandatory.
Suddenly, he realized that he had lost track of ti and that the sun had already set. Then, in the lounge of the shop, he lifted his hands up, stretched, and felt the tension in his muscles ease.
There was still a lot of work to be done before he was ready to face Lord Varkin, but Kaizen knew there was no need to rush. The day had been productive, as he had received several components for his next sword and a mission with great rewards.
