"A new Title" he muttered.
[Cultivation speed and effectiveness is increased by a base multiplier of twenty in all areas]
From the edge of the space they were in, a massive beam of light shot out.
From there, it went on to touch every planetary body on the left side of the galaxy and then those on the right side as it heads back to the galaxy’s core.
"It’s begun, it’ll take six hours for the process to complete"
"Just six hours?" Ezra was surprised.
This is the whole galaxy we’re talking about.
"How long would it take you to wrap yourself in clothes"
"A few minutes"
"Good. The galaxy is my body"
"What now?" Ezra asks.
"Now, we wait"
Sighing, Ezra reclined better into his seat, shutting his eyes. "Whew, I can finally relax"
Imdiately after, his eyes shot open.
"I haven’t checked on mother!"
Caught in the craziness, he’d temporarily forgotten about Orion.
"Zydrax, take to see mother right now"
[I was about making the suggestion, it’s about ti you visited your universe]
"So, how do I do that?"
[You have to na your construct]
’Okay, I have a na in mind, but let ask the core just in case, it seems to know a lot about energy constructs’

"Hey, Core"
"What is it?"
Connecting the planetary bodies did not stop the core from conversing.
"I haven’t nad my energy construct yet, what do you suggest?"
"Oh. Perfect, call it the Sovereign system" the core replied without hesitation.
"Why that?"
"What else would you call it?"
"The omnipotent system"
"That’s a terrible na" it replied. "With such a na, your skillset will be built around being able to spy everywhere in a certain universe.
Your main abilities will be of stealth abilities, interstellar sight and foresight, which is the worst abilities you could go for to complent your battle style"
"Oh" Ezra was getting a better grasp on the effects of nas.
"That, and there’s no guarantee that your construct will be able to bear the weight of such a Title.
The na of your construct is aid at complenting your strength, in that way, I don’t believe there’s a better na than Sovereign"
"What if I call it the Universal Sovereign construct?"
"That na would limit the construct’s growth to the Universe level"
"Construct’s grow?" Ezra was surprised.
"Of course. As you grow stronger, the construct’s capabilities increase. Abilities are enhanced, and sotis, you could get entirely new and stronger abilities"
"I didn’t know that"
It dawned upon him once again that there were many things that Zydrax did not know.
He would be consud with regret if he had nad the construct without knowing all these details.
"What kind of abilities would I get from naming it the Sovereign system?"
"Sovereign is a very vague word, but your Title and race will tilt its aning towards the rank of sovereign. You’ll be granted abilities that match your strength and personality the most in regards to that"
"So, abilities that enhance your inner Universe and cultivation are definite. But I can’t guarantee that the abilities will be to your liking"
"So it’s 50/50?"
"Yes"
Satisfied, Ezra nodded. "Alright. Let’s do this"
On cue, a floating slate with text appeared in front of him.
[Please grant a designation]
Underneath this line of text, was a wide blank space.
Taking a breath, Ezra intoned.
A few seconds pass and nothing happens.
[You’re supposed to write it out]
"Oh"
"Make sure you write it out in one go to avoid any problems" says the core.
"Ok" Ezra nodded.
Using his index finger, he begins writing the letters, feeling essence being sucked out of him used as ink.
"Ugh!"
A painful process requiring strong willpower.
The more words he wrote, the harder it beca to continue as his arm beca heavier with each word.
In no ti, he was sweating buckets.
"Why. Didn’t you. Tell . it was going. To be like this?!"
"I thought you knew" the core replied.
"Damn IT!"
Reaching the second ’E’, he had to hold his wrist to prevent it from falling.
In his head was Zydrax providing ntal support.
[Keep going, keep going, you’re almost there]
On the final ’n’, the bone in his finger fractured with how heavy it had beco.
"Gah!"
Taking a deep breathing, Ezra forced his hand through the final stroke, dropping on his knees in exhaustion.
[You did it]
Inked out in neon blue, the words straightened and the slate disappeared, leaving a succession of new ones in its place.
{Designation granted}
{Comncing Recalibration...}
{Initiating system completion...}
Written in dark blue, the word straightened itself once completed to look gallant standing as ’SOVEREIGN’, it corrected Ezra’s sloppy handwriting.
Without warning, the floating slate abruptly closes.
*Moan*
On cue, Ezra starts to feel very comfortable, and subconsciously lies down, falling asleep almost imdiately.
Though he didn’t notice, he’d also started glowing a faint white hue.
Three hours pass with Ezra asleep.
This was when an omni-directional presence descended.
"Hmm?" The core noticed imdiately.
Had Ezra been awake, he’d have recognized it as well.
The Universe’s will.
At once, a beam of light appeared from nowhere and struck Ezra, ignoring the galaxy’s defences.
Hitting Ezra, it sunk into him without a hitch, and that was it.
The universe’s presence also vanished and all was back to normal.
Two hours later, Ezra wakes up.
Feeling energized, he stands.
"What happened?"
"You feel asleep"
"For who long?"
"Five hours"
"Oh"
On cue, multiple floating slates appeared in front of him.
[Recalibration complete]
[Abilities acquired]
[System complete]
[Universe foundation established]
[Energy construct synergized]
[The Sovereign system has been completed]
In the midst of making sense of it all, a familiar voice rang in his head.
[We did it Ezra! It’s done]
For the first ti in a long ti, there was genuine excitent in Zydrax’s tone.
On the dot, a floating slate, bigger than all the rest appeared in front of Ezra, and this ti, Zydrax didn’t leave them as runic symbols.
{Sovereign System*} was the highlight and headliner.
The word ’Sovereign’ in particular glowed in the deepest shade of blue one could imagine.
Underneath were the columns of [Status] [Abilities] [Dominion] [Subordinates] and [Renown] written in dark blue as well.
"Well, it looks much better than the Life Ark. I’d say that" Ezra comnted. "But how is this supposed to help see my mom?"
[I don’t why the Universe likes you so much, but it interlinked the construct to your universe while you were unconscious]
"And that ans...?"
[The construct’s abilities and the universe have been tied together]
"But how does that help enter my inner universe?"
[Try opening a portal to your universe]
"Okay"
Raising his hand, Ezra willed it, and what would you know, as if dissolving the space in front of him, a portal appeared, giving a view of space, but of a purplish blue colour instead of just blue.
"How’d you know it’d work?"
[I didn’t. How did you do that]
"...I dunno"
He’d done it without much contemplation,
Ezra steps in.
Entering, he instinctively turns to the side as the portal closes.
There sat Orion, spinning as it would any other day.
Only that unlike before, it orbited on its loneso, yet spotted no major changes.
Ezra launches himself towards it imdiately, and reaches it instantaneously.
"Woah" he was shocked. Looking back to how far back his original location was, "How did I do that?"
[Find out later]
"Right" Diving straight into his ho planet, he imagines the look on his mother’s face.
On cue, he smashes into sand, blowing it up creating a mid sized crater.
Standing, he blows off the sand.
"What just happened?"
[You teleported]
"Was that what that was?"
Ezra knew what that ant thanks to the existence of portals and spatial mages on Orion.
"But where am I?"
Looking out the crater, he spots soone at its fringes.
A very familiar soone.
"Ezra?"
Dusting off dust, Kiara was astounded to see her son appear out of nowhere.
"Mother?!" Intoned with both excitent and fear. Ezra ran towards her without a second thought.
Arriving in front of her almost instantly, Ezra smiled lightly.
"Mother. It’s good to see you’re doing fine"
Grabbing his cheeks, Ezra’s mom smiled "Oh? Was my little boy worried about ?"
"Well, I can’t have you dying this early, can I?" Ezra replied with a shrug.
But his lips simply got pulled harder.
"And what’s that supposed to an?"
"Sorry, sorry" Ezra quickly apologized. "In any case, it’s good to see you"
"Tch" clicking her tongue with a smile, she let go of her boy’s naughty little ear.
"That hurt" Ezra feigned.
No it didn’t. He’s a Transcendent, while his mom was still in Grandmaster rank.
On cue, a shadow was cast over them.
Looking up, Ezra lit up.
The snake he’d hatched at Arcadia had grown to colossal lengths.
"Severus, is that you?"
Severus slamd into him, rubbing his head all over Ezra’s body.
"Hahahaha, I’ve missed you too"
Bonding with his pet snake, sothing else called his attention.
"There you are. Co here"
Stretching out his hand into thin air, sothing spun right into his grip.
It was Skyfall, gleaming in all its glory.
