Jessy, aka Mr. Saturday, couldn’t care less about whatever Riley was saying. The only thing he cared about was that he couldn’t move at all no matter how much he tried.

When Riley held him the first ti, he could at least feel himself moving at least an inch. But now, try as he might with all his might, he couldn’t even move a single milliter—his eyes couldn’t even tremble even though they desperately wanted and needed to.

He tried to shrink himself in an effort to set himself free, but he felt his skin and flesh stretch. If he continued, he would’ve probably torn his head and limbs off.

And what was he even saying?

gawoman roams their skies from ti to ti? Wasn’t she supposed to be retired?

The last he heard, people were saying that she was already off-planet and was lightyears away from them.

If gawoman did arrive, then they were done. This was just the first day of their plan that had been in the works for more than two years now, and yet they were going to fail and be apprehended not even twenty-four hours later?

No. gawoman was the least of his problems right now—this boy standing on his shoulder was.

What sort of twelve-year-old talks the way he does? Mr. Saturday thought he was already in the clear when Riley let him go earlier, but to think that was only a part of his plan?

"You must be so confused right now, Mr. Jessy."

Riley finally stopped talking to the cara and turned his focus back to Mr. Saturday, standing right next to his ear as he whispered to him.

"I am going to lower the volu of my voice since your ears are big. I do not know if they work like that, but I do not want to be rude," he said.

"Yes, Tomoe and I deliberately let you destroy all the caras yourself so that your friends would not be alard, Mr. Saturday. After all, destroying your own property, and urging the students of ga Academy to fight must be so sort of plan by your organization—that ant they would not interfere. Unfortunately for them, you were big enough to block the cara, and they did not even notice that the other students had escaped. You had no idea either, right? That the people behind you were leaving one by one? Oh, forgive . I was rambling on and was wondering why you were not saying anything."

Riley snapped his fingers, finally freeing his mouth and larynx so he could speak. And the first thing that he said was—

"P-please... stop this! I’m... I’m a student from ga Academy, I am!"

"I believe you are, Jessy. After all, you only look a little older than —a perfect spy to infiltrate ga Academy."

"I’m not a spy!"

"I believe we have already established that you are. But I suppose one way or another, it does not really matter," Riley shook his head before leaning in closer to Mr. Saturday’s ear, "Whether you are a spy or not does not concern , Jessy. You are going to die here all the sa."

"Wh—"

Mr. Saturday was not able to let out a single word before he found himself unable to move even his lips. He tried to struggle to set himself free from Riley’s grasp again, but his hold on him beca even tighter, literally.

The two instances were just Riley preventing him from moving, but now—it was as if he was gripping his entire body.

"I am going to tell you sothing now that would seal your fate, Jessy." Riley lowered his voice even further, even cupping his mouth with his hands like he was about to tell him a secret. And, well, maybe he was.

"Ms. Thursday really did not kill the student that died earlier. I did that."

Mr. Saturday instantly felt his temperature drop as soon as he heard Riley’s words. He wanted to say sothing, but not even a whimper escaped his lips—there was only a breath that sounded like a wheeze that was quite not there yet.

His wheeze really only ca out when Riley uttered his next words.

"I also killed Mr. Monday, Jessy."

The way he said it was so casual, as if a child telling soone that they spilled milk on the floor.

"Yes. I tortured him first before killing him, and then I cut him into several pieces so that he would fit in a small tal box that is in one of the storage rooms. There. I have told you what I did, Jessy—so, it does not really matter whether you are a spy or not, you will have to die soon. After all, I do not want you revealing anything."

...Then why did he even tell him that?!

Jessy was practically screaming in his mind. He wouldn’t have believed what this boy was saying if it was any other circumstance—but with the circumstances surrounding him, he would be a fool not to believe him.

Ms. Thursday’s outburst, and then Riley’s calmness were unnerving, and now fully made sense.

Dark Millennium went to great lengths in securing the potential villain list, but the nas that needed to be on top of that list weren’t there.

It should have been. Even if he was on the spectrum, ga Academy’s profiling was better than even the FBI and CIA combined—even he himself, who tried to seem as civilized, good, and kind as possible, was on the list for so reason. It was as if they had so sort of radar to detect future no-gooders.

But Bernard’s son wasn’t on that list?

Oh.

And with that single thought, Mr. Saturday realized why.

There was no way soone like Bernard Ross, who has money equivalent to the national debt of a country from Southeast Asia, wouldn’t have people inside the school where his children were attending.

Could it be... Bernard Ross was hiding so sort of monster? Was Riley Ross so sort of fucked up experint? Was that why he looked the way he did?

These multibillionaires couldn’t be trusted, after all.

Ms. Saturday’s thought beca increasingly wild. That was the only thing he could do, after all.

"Now then, shall we start?"

And with those words, Mr. Saturday felt the weight chaining his body disappear. He was about to scream but found that he couldn’t.

And then, without him aning to or even actually moving, his hand flew toward his shoulder, grabbing Riley on its own.

And without rcy, he violently threw Riley down.

"Kh!" Riley’s back slamd onto the floor hard, his body bouncing from it before dropping back. He imdiately got up, however, struggling to do so as he looked up at Mr. Saturday.

And there, Mr. Saturday saw sothing that almost made him take several steps back or outright run away from the hangar.

He saw Riley smiling at him, his face almost twisted from how the curve of his lips was almost reaching his ears. And then, he realized sothing else—Riley’s face couldn’t be seen on the cara at all.

The only thing the people watching the feed would see was him slamming Riley on the floor.

The worst part of it all was that he couldn’t even speak to defend himself.

Riley Ross... has easily frad him.

He continued to stare at Riley’s smile until it disappeared. And it didn’t disappear because he stopped smiling or his lips lowered, no.

It disappeared because Riley wore a pair of sunglasses that discharged a holographic bunny mask that completely covered his entire face.

And of course, Riley wore it so that it wouldn’t slip to anyone watching that he had a wide smile plastered on his face.

Because he was about to have fun and play.

Riley’s feet slowly left the floor as he stretched his arms to the side, and at the sa ti, Mr. Saturday also started floating in the air; his head imdiately reaching the ceiling. But aside from the fact that he was in the air, Mr. Saturday realized that he could move all of his limbs freely.

If he was already seen on the cara hitting Riley, then there was no point in pretending anymore.

He silently roared, swinging his fist right toward Riley, but Riley quickly hovered to the side to dodge, and the only thing he hit was the wall; slightly caving it in as he did so.

Riley stepped on the side of his stretched arm, standing horizontally before leisurely walking toward him like he had all the ti in the world.

Mr. Saturday retracted his arm, and Riley just casually hopped away, spinning and sorsaulting in the air before landing on the wall while his mask still faced Mr. Saturday.

"W—"

Riley was about to say sothing, but then a loud rumble erupted all around them and the entire hangar started to shake violently. Riley imdiately leaped away from the wall and floated in the air to prevent himself from being shaken with the ship.

Several thuds drumd on the walls, and the lights in the hangar turned red and started blinking. And the horns that followed made Riley instinctively cover his ears.

The horn lingered for a few seconds before he managed to get used to it.

"It would seem sothing happened, Mr. Jessy. We—"

He turned toward Mr. Saturday, only to find that he was now completely alone in the hangar.

Mr. Saturday ran away, and Riley had just told him that he killed not only Mr. Monday but admitted to killing his own schoolmate too.

"Oh..." Riley muttered,

"Uh oh."
