Hearing the system’s recycling notification in his mind, Fang Chenyi wasn’t discouraged in the slightest. He had only recycled one flyer, and he still had several hundred more. ’There’s no way I can’t trigger a special reward!’
Muttering to himself, he reached out, grabbed another flyer, and tossed it into the woven bag.
[Host has collected one flyer for the United Kingdom Honju Ani Expo. System reward: 100 yuan. The reward has been deposited into Host’s bank account. Please check your balance.]
[Host has collected one flyer for the United Kingdom’s Farak Animation Co., Ltd. ani expo. System reward: 100 yuan. The reward has been deposited into Host’s bank account. Please check your balance.]
...
Fang Chenyi moved quickly, tossing one flyer after another into the woven bag. The system’s recycling notifications rang out ceaselessly in his mind.
Unfortunately, despite tossing in over a hundred flyers in one go, not a single special reward had appeared.
Luckily, there were still plenty of flyers left. He took a deep breath, then imdiately clamped his hand over his nose. ’Damn it, I forgot I’m still in the bathroom.’
He fanned the air in front of his face before continuing his grand undertaking of recycling.
One after another, he tossed in another hundred flyers in one go. Unfortunately, still no special reward.
He eyed the last hundred-odd flyers. They were almost all from the dozen or so companies located near the central exhibition stands.
Fang Chenyi gritted his teeth, grabbed the entire stack in one go, and stuffed it into the woven bag.
At that very mont, a system notification rang in his mind.
[Host has collected one stack of flyers from the Tokyo International Ani Expo, triggering a special system reward. Reward: 100% equity in the Tokyo Ani Expo’s organizer, ’Tokyo Entertainnt Corporation’. The transfer agreent has been placed in the woven bag. Please retrieve it at your convenience.]
As the system notification rang out, Fang Chenyi grew excited at the words "triggering a special system reward." But by the end of the ssage, he was completely baffled.
"How did I end up with the event organizer?!"
It was no wonder Fang Chenyi was confused. He’d just collected flyers from a dozen or so ani companies. Based on his previous logic, triggering a special reward should have given him equity in those companies. Why on earth did he get the event managent company instead?
’But on second thought,’ he mused, ’this might be an even better solution to the problem at hand. If I’d been rewarded with stock in those ani companies, they would all be my properties. Forcing them into a corner would an I’d be the one losing money.’
With that thought, Fang Chenyi’s mood improved considerably. He turned and walked out of the restroom, nearly colliding with Qi Xiaotian.
"In a hurry to use the restroom?"
Fang Chenyi was a bit speechless, looking at Qi Xiaotian’s anxious expression.
The words had barely left his mouth when Qi Xiaotian let out a long sigh of relief. "Whew. Brother Fang, I was starting to think sothing happened to you. It’s been over ten minutes!"
Hearing this, Fang Chenyi felt a little awkward. He’d been so preoccupied with collecting the flyers one by one that he’d lost track of ti.
But Fang Chenyi had no intention of explaining what he was doing. He just rolled his eyes, annoyed, and started walking toward the exit.
"What could possibly happen to in a restroom? You think I’m going to fall in? Honestly... Co on, let’s go take care of so real business."
Behind him, Qi Xiaotian gave a sheepish smile, scratching his head and muttering under his breath.
"Heh heh, I really did think you might have fallen in..."
When Fang Chenyi turned to glare at him, Qi Xiaotian imdiately clamped his mouth shut. But after just a few steps, he thought of sothing else and asked.
"Brother Fang, did you leave the flyers in the restroom?"
Without turning his head, Fang Chenyi replied curtly.
"I used them to wipe my ass!"
Qi Xiaotian froze, montarily speechless. ’Wiping your ass with those things? Aren’t they too rough? Besides, he used several hundred of them...’
Back in the main convention hall, they found Principal Wang waiting for them at the entrance.
"Brother Fang, where have you two been? I’ve been waiting forever."
Fang Chenyi replied that they’d gone to the restroom, then asked how many booths from Huaxia were at the event.
Principal Wang held up five fingers. "Five," he said. "Excluding our two companies, a total of five other companies ca!"
Fang Chenyi nodded.
"Alright, got it. Go back to your company’s booth and start packing your things. In a little while, you’ll be moving directly to the circle of booths in the very center."
Principal Wang was stunned. He asked, completely baffled.
"Move to the central booths? But I just looked... those spots belong to the five largest local companies here!"
Fang Chenyi just waved his hand dismissively.
"If I tell you to move, you move. Stop asking so many damn questions."
With that, he ignored Principal Wang and turned, striding directly toward an office on the side of the convention hall. As he walked, he reached into his briefcase, pulling a docunt out of the woven bag within.
He found a phone number on the docunt and dialed it.
Ten minutes later, Fang Chenyi strode out of the office, followed by a group of people from Tokyo Entertainnt.
The group didn’t stop, heading straight for the centermost exhibition stands.
Upon arrival, before Fang Chenyi could even say a word, the new woman in charge of Tokyo Entertainnt, Cangjing Lu, took a few subordinates and began notifying the occupants of each booth.
The five companies in the center, as well as the fifteen adjacent ones—a total of twenty booths—were all inford by Tokyo Entertainnt to clear out within ten minutes.
This imdiately caused a commotion. Representatives from one company after another angrily cornered the organizers to express their dissatisfaction and demand an explanation. In response to their questions, however, Cangjing Lu would only say, "It’s a company decision," before ignoring them completely.
Though these ani companies were formidable, they were nothing compared to Tokyo Entertainnt. After all, Tokyo Entertainnt was the largest entertainnt company in the entire Plaster Country. To put it another way, Tokyo Entertainnt was so powerful they could decide whether the sun shone on Tokyo.
Seeing the companies begin to pack up their booths, Fang Chenyi nodded in satisfaction. A smile on his face, he took out his phone and called Su Zhenjun, the current head of Xuanji Technology.
Su Zhenjun, who was busy coordinating with Big Stick Animation, saw the call was from the Chairman and quickly answered.
"Hello, Chairman."
Fang Chenyi didn’t waste any ti and got straight to business.
"Notify our people attending the expo in Tokyo. Tell them to imdiately move all their things to the booths in the very center of the hall. I’ll be waiting for them right here."
He hung up without any further small talk.
Su Zhenjun, on the other end of the line, had no idea what had just happened, but from the Chairman’s words, it sounded like he was also at the convention.
Not daring to delay, he imdiately called the team attending the expo.
anwhile, at the ani expo, the staff from Xuanji Technology hadn’t packed a single thing. As for the words of that handso man from earlier, they hadn’t paid them any mind at all...
