Chapter 66: Chapter 66: The Rural G-Wagon

Fang Chenyi couldn’t help but laugh at Su Tantan’s words.

But the thought of his three-hour ti limit for the reward made Fang Chenyi antsy. In a flash, he moved all the suitcases from the car to the villa’s living room, then turned his gaze to Bai nghan as she walked in.

"Xiao Hanhan, I have sothing I need to go out and handle right now. You two can take care of unpacking the luggage. Oh, right, our room has a walk-in closet, so you don’t need to use the one outside."

After he spoke, he glanced at Su Tantan, who was gaping like Granny Liu entering the Grand View Garden. Then he whispered to Bai nghan,

"So, just let her stay on the first floor. Oh, and give

the key to your old place. I’ll have soone go over and deal with the stuff there later."

Fang Chenyi’s master bedroom was on the second floor. The reason he wanted Su Tantan to stay on the first floor was, of course, so they wouldn’t be disturbed by her when they were... you know...

Bai nghan naturally knew what Fang Chenyi was thinking. She already felt a bit bad for letting Su Tantan co along without giving him a heads-up. Now that Fang Chenyi was making such a reasonable request, she blushed, humd in agreent, and handed him the key to her old apartnt.

Seeing that Bai nghan had agreed, Fang Chenyi took the key, planted a big smack on her cheek with a grin, and then ran towards the villa’s main gate without looking back.

After leaving the villa and looking left and right, he was dismayed to find that the only thing he had to drive was a tractor...

’Damn, looks like I really need to get a few more cars over here, and fast. Especially a car for my dad; I need to buy that soon. Screw it, after I complete the special reward, I’ll just go to a dealership and buy them!’

The real reason he hadn’t bought them yet was that he was waiting, figuring the system might activate a special reward at any ti and just give him a car. Then he wouldn’t have to buy one, right?

Besides, even now, his total bank account balance was only just over four million.

He sighed helplessly. With no other choice, he tightened his grip on the woven bag tucked under his arm and strode toward the 1958-era walking tractor.

He reached out, picked up the "car key"—which weighed a good five or six pounds—and prepared to start the vehicle.

Just then, a massive Ford Raptor slowly drove over and braked to a stop beside the tractor.

The door opened, and a bewildered Wei Yilong jumped out.

"N- Bro, what are you doing? Where did you get this piece of junk??"

Seeing this kid, especially seeing him driving that big pickup, made Fang Chenyi’s stomach churn with anger!

’You little punk, you’re nowhere to be found when I need you, but the mont I finish moving everything, you show up! Are you doing this on purpose or what?!’

He shot Wei Yilong an annoyed glance, then snorted coldly and pointed at the 1958 walking tractor in front of him.

"What the hell are you talking about? A piece of junk? This is a piece of junk? Open your damn eyes and look carefully! This ’Gongnong-7 Power-Driven Walking Tractor’ was produced in 1958 and has a 62-year history! Do you have any idea what it cost new back then? 1,080 yuan!"

Looking at Wei Yilong, who was completely dumbfounded by his speech, Fang Chenyi sneered and continued, "Let

tell you, back in its day, this tractor wasn’t just a tool for getting rich; it was hailed as the ’Number One Wedding Car!’"

Fang Chenyi saw Wei Yilong staring at him with his mouth agape. He snorted, getting more and more worked up. He placed the hand crank on the tractor and gestured grandly at the machine.

"Co on, take a good look at it. It can go for a joyride, it can plow fields, it can go off-roading, it can haul goods. It’s known as ’the Countryside G-Wagen’!"

"Co on, look at these specs! Front-engine, front-wheel drive, water-cooled engine, twelve-inch high-grip tires, and a handcrafted, pure solid-wood seat. A sheet tal canopy, impervious to wind and rain. The height of luxury. You have a convertible? I have a human-powered dumper! You have supercar exhaust? I have a roaring design! With enough effort, starting it is a workout! When you drive it, the exhaust points to the sky, black smoke roaring. By the ti it crests a hill, the Land Cruiser has already fallen into a ditch, and the BMW and the G-Wagen are long gone! So, what do you say, kid? Tell , is my ’G-Wagen’ aweso or what?"

"Awe... Aweso!!"

After hearing Fang Chenyi’s introduction, Wei Yilong was speechless for a long ti before he finally managed to squeeze out those two words!

Seeing this, the corners of Fang Chenyi’s mouth curved into a smirk. Business before pleasure. He stopped wasting ti with the guy.

He rolled up the sleeves of his suit, picked up the hand crank again, and inserted it into the engine’s starting port. He planted his feet, clenched his jaw, pressed the tip of his tongue against the roof of his mouth, and roared in his mind, ’Let’s go!’

The 1958 tractor instantly let out a ROAR like a wild beast.

He lightly dusted off his suit, then vaulted onto the tractor. As he did, the words he muttered under his breath reached Wei Yilong’s ears.

"Backhand swipe for the gear shift! Pop the clutch with a pull! Steer with the handles, and flick the throttle with a finger!"

Wei Yilong was dumbstruck. Before his stunned, gaping eyes, Fang Chenyi coolly straightened the collar of his suit, perford a backhand swipe, flicked the throttle, and the entire tractor shot forward like an arrow released from a bow.

"HOLY SHIT! THIS DAMN TRACTOR HAS LAUNCH CONTROL?! FUCKING AWESO!!!!"

Standing there, staring at the already distant tractor and then down at the two deep tire tracks left on the lawn, Wei Yilong was simply too astonished for words.

Ignoring Wei Yilong, Fang Chenyi drove straight towards Bai nghan’s old residence.

His sports car was there. Regardless of whether he was going to scavenge for junk first, he had to go there.

Ignoring the chatter from onlookers along the way, Fang Chenyi kicked up a cloud of dust as he drove the stylish 1958 walking tractor all the way back to Garage Number 16.

After parking the stylish tractor inside, he imdiately ran to Bai nghan’s rented apartnt without pausing for a mont.

On the way, Fang Chenyi had thought it over. He didn’t know what would be good to "pick up" right now. Instead of wandering around aimlessly, he might as well check out Bai nghan’s old place first. After all, he knew for a fact there was a lot of junk there.

He could gather all the items he fancied, and then at the last mont, pick the most aweso one to throw into his woven bag. Wouldn’t that give him a better chance?

With this in mind, he took out the key, opened the door, and without a second thought, rushed toward the large pile of junk in the middle of the living room!
