Jiang Cheng raised her arm and shouted: Let’s do it!

"Good!"

Zhao Chengde was the first to respond, raising his fist, looking like he’d just been pumped with adrenaline.

"Go for it!"

Principal Wang primarily provided moral support, whether or not the task could be completed or done well, moral support was a must.

"Let’s do this!"

The guy with glasses was even more excited than Jiang Cheng.

Jiang Cheng was the first to see the pile of docunts and instead of backing down, she fired up saying: Let’s do it!

The cold factory floor instantly turned into a scene of passion and fervor.

Director Sun and Manager Guo had both t Jiang Cheng before, leaving a strong impression, so they remained calm for now.

If it weren’t for saving face, they actually wanted to be part of the passionate energy too.

The only one completely bewildered was the old translator Zhang Junde, who had co along.

On the way here, he kept reminding Zhao Chengde, who was involved in translation for the first ti, to remain composed and dignified.

But the result...

This is it!

Kid, did you let all my words go in one ear and out the other?

And who exactly is this girl???

"Ahem... very well, let say a few words."

Director Sun just started to speak when Manager Guo interrupted.

"Cut the official talk! So much rambling, with no focus."

Manager Guo directly looked at Jiang Cheng and asked: "Jiang Cheng, aren’t you a Russian translator?"

"The machines in front of you all have English labels, so why are you getting involved?"

The now calr Manager Guo pointed to the English words on the machines, waiting for Jiang Cheng to respond.

Jiang Cheng instead asked back: "Did I ever say I don’t know English?"

Manager Guo walked toward Jiang Cheng, looking serious.

"Ms. Jiang Cheng, I admit your Russian translation yesterday was stunning, your Russian proficiency is very high, but translation isn’t a trivial matter, you know that?"

Jiang Cheng put away her playful smile and said seriously: "Manager Guo, I never joke about translation."

"I learned English from Mr. Xu Changping."

As she spoke, Jiang Cheng took out a docunt from her bag and unfolded it.

"Manager Guo, this is my foreign language book holding certificate, it states English, Russian, and Japanese. If I weren’t proficient in these three languages, why would I be eligible to hold books in all three languages?"

Manager Guo was truly amazed.

He had a certificate like this himself.

He naturally knew it was genuine.

A few seconds later, Manager Guo gave Director Sun a firm pat on the back.

"Great! This is wonderful!"

Manager Guo was genuinely happy.

He was happy for Xinhua Bookstore to gain a multilingual translator, and happy to help an old friend solve the current predicant.

"See, I told you I found you a good assistant! You didn’t believe !"

After Director Sun stood up to diate, he rubbed his back and said: "Your hand’s too strong."

Manager Guo rolled his eyes and said: "That’s what happens when you spend too much ti in the office."

After speaking, Manager Guo walked up to the elder Translator Zhang.

"Uncle Zhang, may I trouble you to assess Jiang Cheng’s translation skills later? If she ets your standards, I can be more reassured."

Manager Guo gave face to Lao Zhang, also clearing up Lao Zhang’s bewildernt.

"No problem."

Introduced by Manager Guo, Jiang Cheng politely greeted Lao Zhang.

Lao Zhang, quite reserved and cool, let out a sound that ca with a hint of pressure: "My standards are very high."

Jiang Cheng imdiately bead with a bright smile, saying: "What a coincidence! I love high standards."

Lao Zhang locked eyes with Jiang Cheng; Jiang Cheng neither flinched nor retreated, remaining calm and composed.

Soone like Lao Zhang would see excessive humility as counterproductive.

"I hope you an what you say."

After Lao Zhang spoke, Manager Guo imdiately said: "Let’s get started, the task is heavy, ti is tight, delaying even a day prevents them from starting production."

"Right, right, right!"

The guy with glasses finally found a gap to speak, he was genuinely anxious!

The group walked toward the docunts; the guy with glasses explained, "With the imported equipnt from abroad, not only were we given a hard ti during negotiations, but there’s also no technical guidance, they dumped a pile of docunts saying it’s all in there, leaving us to figure it out ourselves."

"In fact, we know that more than half of it is useless, but we can’t afford to miss anything."

The words of the guy with glasses filled others’ hearts with a powerless rage.

On the international stage, they were at a disadvantage.

Being behind ans getting pushed around.

We won the battle, but the invisible war and oppression have always existed.

This production equipnt is stuff they eliminated and no longer wanted, yet we have to spend a huge amount to buy it back, and still face their obstacles.

The mountain of boxes in front of us is proof.

"Those foreigners only know these petty tricks that can’t be shown in public!"

"Is Hua Xia afraid of such childish tactics?"

"Joking! The more they think we can’t do it, the more we must accomplish it!"

"Not only must we succeed, but we must do it even better!"

"When it cos to slapping faces, no distance is too far!"

Jiang Cheng’s voice grew louder with each sentence.

As her volu increased, Jiang Cheng first grabbed a box and calmly opened it.

She looked up, with a slight smile and confidence, asking: "Ladies and gentlen, shall we together bring them down disastrously?"

Bring them down?

Of course, let’s do it!

"Co on, let’s crush them!"

The guy with glasses was the first to walk over, grabbing a box and getting started.

Zhao Chengde, once again pumped up by Jiang Cheng’s energy, walked over with high spirits and grabbed a box, let’s do this!

Manager Guo and Lao Zhang were more shocked but also comforted.

They might be old, but the next generation has already risen.

Director Sun watched as a few people were motivated to a burst of energy by Jiang Cheng’s words, thinking only: it’s not bad if their youngest can be a little leader.

Jiang Cheng first took out a docunt to find Lao Zhang.

In front of Lao Zhang, she fluently spoke, with standard pronunciation and precise translation.

You can tell a master right off the bat.

Lao Zhang was so stunned he forgot to speak.

"Lao Zhang, did I pass your assessnt?"

"Passed! Passed!"

After getting the definite answer, Jiang Cheng took a few steps back with the docunt and continued reading.

Lao Zhang, still in surprise, touched Manager Guo’s arm, and quietly asked: "Was her Russian at this level yesterday too?"

Manager Guo, looking down at the docunt, shook his head.

"I don’t know, all I know is she gave a Russian lesson."

"Why?"

Lao Zhang didn’t understand, how did delivering a translation docunt turn into a lesson?

Asked out of the heartache, Manager Guo recalled and said: "I habitually said the translation was alright, and she wasn’t satisfied, insisted on discussing which sentences were just ’alright’."

"In the end, I was carried through a sentence-by-sentence analysis, only to finally conclude that her translation was exceptional."

Lao Zhang understood.

Simply put, Manager Guo tried to gloss over things and ended up hitting a brick wall.

"Ah— not only did I get a lesson, but she also managed to get an extra thirty yuan in manuscript fees from !"

Manager Guo said in a tone of wanting to cry without tears, still feeling a little bit pained now.

But who made him speechless, who told him to affirm Jiang Cheng’s translation as excellent!

Originally he thought she was a scholar serious about translation, little did he expect she turned out to be both serious and financially savvy!
