The back of the armor had completely exploded while so pieces remained on its chest and abdon. The legs and arms were fully intact but parts of the head were exposed as well. Suddenly, a putrid sll spread throughout the battlefield as the rotting flesh was exposed to the outside world. A gush of Ghost Energy and Death Energy as well as Evil Qi assaulted Cao Yun.

Even for the young man, it was a bit too much and he had to condense his spiritual senses around him to strengthen his Wei Qi. But for the demonic beasts and demons close to the fight, this was impossible to resist. They all stopped fighting one another and used all their strength to flee. A few unfortunate ones were consud by those deadly energies. Their very flesh began to rot as they were still alive and breathing. As their screams of agony echoed through the battlefield, everyone else was terrified.

Seeing that his own n were stopping the fight, General ng Tian had to do sothing. Among them all, he was the only one who had known what those three Supplicant Tyrants were. The Temple of Grace and Submission had been working on them for a very long ti now. They had literally used the souls of the heretics they had been killing in order to strengthen the corpses of three high priests. Although he also thought those were abominations, he was glad that they were on his side. Besides, he couldn't reject a gift from the Empyrean Asura Theocracy. It would have been an insult toward the Empyrean Asura himself.

Unfortunately, General ng Tian would probably have to kill his own n after the battle in order to silence them. Well, they could help the priests restore the one Supplicant Tyrant injured by Cao Yun.

As much as he didn't want to risk his own life, General ng Tian had no other choice. If he didn't join the battle and Cao Yun was able to escape alive, he would have to explain himself to Holy Cardinal Ling Weisheng. Sohow he could already see his own corpse encased in a tallic armor with the souls of his n used to infuse it with more strength. Thus, General ng Tian had to act himself. Strangely enough though, he imagined Cao Yun escape but he never imagined Cao Yun kill all three Supplicant Tyrants and even General ng Tian himself. After all, he was just one man against four middle Accomplished Demons. Moreover the Supplicant Tyrants had the advantage of their battle formation and their eerie energies.

To General ng Tian's dismay, these eerie energies barely disturbed Cao Yun. Now that the Supplicant Tyrant's flesh was exposed, Cao Yun literally thrust his bare hands into his back. All around Cao Yun's arm his Wei Qi and soul turned black. From his sea of consciousness, his Black Heart Fla was protecting his limb as it stabbed through his enemy. Then, the Black Heart Fla began to devour all the Death Energy and even Ghost Energy of the Supplicant Tyrant. Before the flas could spread too far though, the armor began to move again. The shock of being exposed had passed. As the corpse was fighting the effects of its environnt on itself, it kicked backward to push Cao Yun away.

The mont Cao Yun's arm was expelled from the putrid back, the armor slashed toward him with its scythe.

'Mountain Under Thunder'.

Cao Yun effortlessly blocked the scythe with his spear. At this very mont, the two other Supplicant Tyrant whose armors were intact attacked him from behind. They were on both of his sides and slashed toward Cao Yun blocking his escape.

'The Son of Heaven's Spear and Shield'.

The two scythes struck dragon scales that had appeared in Cao Yun's back. Just as the hit ca, the scales exploded and flew toward the first Supplicant Tyrant with the added force of the two attacks. At the sa ti, the swords still rotating behind Cao Yun struck their two scythes and assaulted the two armors. That was when General ng Tian intervened.

As a 6th-grade Accomplished Demon, General ng Tian wasn't as powerful as Cao Yun but he wasn't too far either. Since Cao Yun was being distracted by his three enemies, the general was certain he could slay Cao Yun with a single attack. Thus, he poured all of his strength in this move. He didn't want to leave him any chance of escaping with his life. From his spatial ring, General ng Tian had taken out a bone shaped like a massive sword. There were blood runes all over that bone. Cao Yun imdiately felt an intense pressure from this bone. It had no Death Energy in it but was full of vitality instead. Clearly, it had devoured the blood of many enemies and had grown stronger each ti.

It was difficult to identify what kind of bone it was. But considering the vitality emanating from it and the sheer size of the weapon that had been carved out of a single bone, it probably belonged to a giant 7 or even 8-core demonic beast. That weapon had to be ranked at least a 3-star Heaven sword breaker. Although it was shaped like a massive sword, it had no edge and was a blunt weapon that could indeed break most blades.

As a matter of fact, General ng Tian's 'Mastodon Bone Smasher' literally went through the blades floating behind Cao Yun. They broke apart as though they were nothing at all.

'Celestial Annihilation'!

General ng Tian's 'Mastodon Bone Smasher' turned completely red with blood as it ca crashing down toward Cao Yun's skull. The sheer air pressure was enough to cause Cao Yun headaches. Even the three Supplicant Tyrants were forced to move out of the way despite being already dead. His sword breaker was just like a small teor crashing down toward the Piaolu planet.

'Dragon's Heart'!

'Azure Dragon Tears the East Sky'!

Without any hesitation, Cao Yun circulated all of his cultivation. His Spear Heart was pushed to its limit. And he stabbed toward the giant teor that was trying to crush his head. His 'Tainted Heavenly Pillar' clashed with the 'Mastodon Bone Smasher'. As they collided, it caused a powerful shockwave that damaged the 'Do of White Lightning' and crushed a few demons and demonic beasts who were still too close to the fight. This was the strongest attack of a 6th-grade Accomplished Demon against the full strength of Cao Yun.

Even the young man was impressed with the sturdiness of General ng Tian's 'Mastodon Bone Smasher'. Unfortunately for the general, Cao Yun had been taken by surprise at first but now he could mobilize more and more of his strength. And indeed, he could feel that what seed to be in his favor at first was slowly turning against him. For everyone else, the two weapons looked like they had simply stopped each other but General ng Tian could feel a powerful vibration going through his arms. Cao Yun's Qi and blood were pushing against him. Even his weapon seed to be screaming in agony while the Azure Dragon was trying to pierce through it. Slowly but surely, his sword breaker was being pushed back.

That being said, General ng Tian was putting more and more pressure on Cao Yun's spear. He was afraid that Cao Yun would simply stab him as soon as he would retract his weapon. And he was absolutely right. Cao Yun was faster than him and General ng Tian wouldn't be able to launch a second surprise attack.

While they were still locked into their clash of weapons, Cao Yun assaulted General ng Tian's very soul with 'Weeping Demon'. In his sea of consciousness, the figure of Axiu Qian appeared and began to tear everything apart. But General ng Tian's five fully ford Turbid Demons fought back with everything they had. From the infinite sky, thousands upon thousands of teorites ca crashing down. They were all targeted toward Axiu Qian's figure. With four of his arms, the large asura protected himself from the threat coming from above while his other two arms were fighting the Turbid Demons. Destroying ng Tian's soul wasn't as easy as with weaker demons.

Demons had strong wills to being with but General ng Tian was very close to forming his Demon Soul as well. In fact, Cao Yun could tell that he would probably step into the 7th-grade Accomplished Demon stage in a few months, maybe a year at most. So their cultivation levels weren't too distant. However, Cao Yun also had his Soul Embryo and his 5th-grade Spirit Warrior cultivation. Thus he mobilized it as well to gain an edge in this fight. Obviously, General ng Tian felt it imdiately.

The shock on General ng Tian was extrely visible. Using all of his lungs, he shouted as loud as he could.

"Human!"

Suddenly, everyone on the battlefield was startled. They simply couldn't imagine that their enemy was a human. Until now he had used asura cultivation for sure. Could a human cultivate their blood system?! So thought about the spies crafted by the priests, but this was different. This human could clearly use the full extent of their cultivation system and he had even rose to the pinnacle of it. Such a threat had to be exterminated. A few demons even fled away. They had to warn the Empyrean Asura Theocracy.

Although Cao Yun was still locked in battle with General ng Tian, he gave the order to all demonic beasts through Hongyu to kill any demon who had heard the truth. He even used the 'Do of White Lightning' to produce lightning swords that flew toward any demon running away. So of those swords also flew toward General ng Tian but they barely scratched him. His skin had turned almost black with all the blood he was circulating, as though his entire body was bruised to the extre. So his veins were ready to pop despite their sturdiness.

Finally, Cao Yun moved. He wanted to finish this fight as fast as possible and make sure that no one could spread the news about him. Using all of his speed, he moved out of the way of General ng Tian before he could correct the trajectory of his weapon. Then, he simply deviated the strike with his spear. A gigantic crater was ford when General ng Tian's 'Celestial Annihilation' reached the ground. Most of the 'Do of White Lightning' was broken apart as it had already been weakened and used too many tis.

Using the montum of his spear, Cao Yun tried to strike General ng Tian's chest to crush his heart. But at this mont, the three Supplicant Tyrants attacked it with their battle formation. He felt as though his very soul was encased in ice. Unfortunately, his Soul Embryo wasn't as strong as his Turbid Demons. Cao Yun was forced to release his 'Weeping Demon' against General ng Tian just to protect his Soul Embryo. Unable to let go of this opportunity, General ng Tian launched another attack toward Cao Yun's head.

'Blue Hue Rises in the West Heaven'!

The swords behind Cao Yun flew all over the place as though they were lightning bolts. Cao Yun's body disappeared and almost turned into lightning as well. When he reappeared, Cao Yun was near one of those swords. He moved all over the battlefield with this strange technique. Without any hesitation, he slaughtered every single demon on the battlefield. The three Supplicant Tyrants used their similar technique, sending ghostly figures all over the place. For a few seconds, this fight turned into a ga of cat and mouse. Unfortunately, the mouse was slaughtering demons in re instants each ti.

With the demonic beasts helping Cao Yun's massacre, soon only General ng Tian would remain alive. Indeed, the three Supplicant Tyrants were already dead to begin with. On a battlefield, speed was such a great advantage. General ng Tian was obviously terribly upset. But to be fair, he would have had to kill his own n later on, simply because they had seen the true form of the Supplicant Tyrants. That being said, he also had hoped that so of them could make sure that the truth about Cao Yun was known. Seeing Cao Yun's real speed, General ng Tian was terrified that he could escape. For him there was no escape as failure ant death by the priests.

"Human scum! Vermin! Coward!"

Despite all the insults, Cao Yun kept on massacring every single demon. General ng Tian decided to imitate Cao Yun instead of chasing him and attacked the demonic beasts. His attacks were targeting the beasts but were also killing his own n. General ng Tian didn't care at all.

'Extermination Eclipse'!

When he raised his sword breaker, the sky turned black as his weapon concealed the very sun. Everyone under this shadow felt a pressure so intense that their bones began to crack. Then, his sword breaker fell down toward them. Many were crushed in an instant. A fight between two powerhouses was so tyrannical that weaker cultivators would die as though they were nothing. Besides, the demons and demonic beasts had both lost their leaders. Hongyu was simply too weak and injured at the mont to give any order. But she felt the sudden death of many demonic beasts as their blood was spilled.

Using all of her will, Hongyu stood up and looked at the scene of carnage. Imdiately she gave orders to a few demonic beasts. This stopped the confusion and the chaos. Thanks to her, several demonic beasts were spared the sa fate. In fact, General ng Tian ended up killing more of his own n than the demonic beasts. On the other hand, Cao Yun stopped his slaughter as well. The more powerful demons had been killed, as well as those who were far enough that they could have escaped. Now that Hongyu was taking charge again, he was certain that not a single demon would escape alive.

Cao Yun turned his full attention toward General ng Tian and the three Supplicant Tyrants.
