Capítulo 900: Chapter 53: Isn’t This a Bad Idea?

As soon as the door opened, Peggy skillfully slipped under his arm, dashed into the room, and sniffed around.

“It slls like dea and Sigrdrifa!” She displayed a vigilant expression.

“Are you a dog?” Aske scolded her lightly on the back of her head. “They were here just now.”

Were here just now, the statent sounds like they’ve left, but if they haven’t, it’s not exactly lying—such is the clever rhetoric of a scoundrel.

“Really?” Upon seeing the room was empty and hearing Aske’s words, Peggy sighed in relief and then exclaid pitifully, “Aske!”

“Just now Nora got a critical success in the ga and used Divine Descent to kill !”

“Don’t get worked up; it’s just a ga.” With Sigrdrifa’s prior example in mind, Aske quickly interrupted her, preventing Peggy from further exploiting the topic.

Peggy originally intended to complain a bit and then cuddle up to the Squad Leader for comfort, but she was imdiately stuck after hearing the reply.

She desperately scoured the surroundings for a topic, then suddenly her eyes lit up: “Your bed…”

“It’s 2 ters long and 3.5 ters wide, ant as a marital bed by Nora; it’s big enough to wrestle on.” Aske rambled on, making Peggy a little dizzy.

“Uh, that…” The Blood Clan girl showed a conflicted expression, realizing the bed topic was also blocked by the Squad Leader, leaving her to forcibly find another:

“Are you hungry, Squad Leader?”

“Just had dinner, with you.”

“Bored? Let’s play a ga!”

“Just played, you were killed by Divine Descent.”

“Your bed is so big…”

“We’ve already covered that topic.”

“Squad Leader, I like you!” Peggy finally gave up on being reserved, instead directly tackling Aske, hugging his neck and kissing intensely, “Let’s cuddle!”

“Shut it! No, let go first…” Aske struggled for a while, having to use Mind Line to subdue her.

“When will you change your habit of tackling people?” He pushed Peggy aside, sat up, and tidied up his disheveled clothes.

Hmm, maybe soone else might co later. Better hide Peggy too.

So Aske tucked Peggy under the blanket as well.

dea and Sigrdrifa were already staring each other down inside, now watching Peggy crawl in too.

Peggy instantly felt furious, but of course, it was futile rage inside her since her facial muscles had lost control.

dea exchanged a look with Sigrdrifa: See, Peggy indeed ca looking.

Sigrdrifa returned the glance: Did you get on top of the Squad Leader earlier?

dea continued with her eyes: I expect others to co in waves like last ti, but this bed is big enough to hold us all.

Sigrdrifa responded with her gaze: Didn’t get on top? I see, since your clothes are just fine.

The three under the blanket then heard Theodora’s voice outside:

“Did Peggy co looking for you?”

“No.” Aske shalessly replied.

“Standing by the door, won’t you invite in?” Theodora chuckled, covering her mouth.

“Hmm…” Aske pondered for a mont.

Forget it, the bed has space for three; one more won’t matter. But Theodora isn’t the type to jump at unprompted, is she?

Aske opened a path, letting Theodora enter the room, and closed the door behind her.

“This bed’s pretty big?” Theodora said in surprise.

“Yeah.” Aske was too lazy to respond.

“Scheming again, aren’t you?” Theodora teased laughingly, “Rember, in our relationship you serve , not the other way around.”

Behold, the ntal victory thod of the little Empress!

“Yes, yes.” Aske says perfunctorily, “Why did Your Majesty co here?”

“Don’t let your mind stray.” Theodora said, “I wanted to discuss things with you. Since we agreed on once a month per person, let’s start with the first month in Eastern Luo Empire? Saves you from running elsewhere after returning to the Main Plane.”

“It’s feasible.” Aske replied strangely, “But are you… clinging to ?”

“Stop flattering yourself.” Theodora sits beside him, resting her head on his shoulder, speaking only after a while, “The Empire needs an heir… Even news of my pregnancy can logically propel you to the position of Co-Ruling Emperor.”

“With that argunt, it’s hard for to refuse.” Aske nodded, “But isn’t being pregnant out of wedlock an issue? Wouldn’t rumors damage your prestige?”

“I am the Emperor.” Theodora smiled lightly, “Even if I stay here overnight, no one on the Main Plane would dare gossip.”

Talking about this, she suddenly felt a little hot and pressed closer to Aske, coyly asking, “Darling, should we… hm, tonight?”

Theodora leaned forward, her hand inadvertently touching sothing under the blanket, and her expression changed subtly.

Then she too fell under Mind Line’s control.

“Apologies, Thira.” Aske quietly tucked her into the blanket, “You discovered us.”

The four lay lined up inside—luckily the bed and blanket were large enough to comfortably fit everyone.

After staring at the bed for a mont, Aske suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder, nearly jumping out of fright.

“Oh, Squad Leader, we’ve co to find you!” Mia teleported into the room with Miel, deliberately sneaking up behind him.

“Why teleport here?” Aske laughed helplessly, “Why not use the front door?”

“We ca to see if you’ve been up to mischief.” Mia’s gaze moved past him to the bed, “Wow, what a big bed!”

Before Aske could speak, she leapt onto the bed: “Wow, this is fun… eh, what’s this?”

Realizing she had stepped on sothing, Mia suddenly couldn’t move.

Mind Line control 1.

“Did you find us out?” Aske helplessly asked Miel.

“Of course.” Miel chuckled, covering her mouth, “But what about Eleanor and Nora, what’s your plan?”

“Nothing, they’re pregnant.” Aske said, “Could you think of a plan to keep them away from this room tonight?”

“Would you?” Miel laughed, “Once the allocation system is set, bringing everyone together like today will be difficult.”

“I’m not heartless.” Aske shook his head, “I wouldn’t risk their health.”

“Oh?” Miel said teasingly, “Actually, there is another option…”

“What’s the option?” Aske’s interest was piqued.

“Preserve their current state and bring over a version from a parallel world where they’ve already given birth, then revert tomorrow.” Miel suggested.

Aske thought for a while but shook his head: “Let’s skip it; it seems risky and unwise… Why do you seem so interested in this?”

“I want everyone to drop their reservations and have fun.” Miel replied, pursing her lips, “Another way is to have Nora use the Evolution Law to handle it, as long as it doesn’t affect the baby. I’ve seen the future line; it’s fine that way.”

“She probably won’t agree now.” Aske tactfully refused.

“She might object now, but not necessarily later.” Miel coaxed, “I’ve found a future-adapted version of Nora and can bring her thought state over, then…”
