Chapter 783: Chapter 153: You’re So Strong

“They’re here.”

“Everyone get ready.”

The Free Wind rcenaries all braced themselves in silence as they watched the young man and girl approaching.

If the other party didn’t dare to resist, it was just a matter of breaking their limbs; if they did resist, then everyone naturally had a reason to use their weapons in self-defense.

According to everyone’s predictions, before the stance of the Free Wind side beca clear, the young man should have co forward first to scout, placing the lovely girl behind him as a precaution… Instead, they saw him pull the girl to the front, and when she ca forward with an impatient look on her face, he made no attempt to stop her.

This guy is really scum! You should know that if the rcenaries here get lustful ideas and suddenly capture the girl and run inside, and the others block the way, you won’t be able to save her!

Thus, the rcenaries’ gazes towards him turned even colder, as if they were looking at a dead man.

Seeing everyone’s expressions beco more and more malicious, Peggy struggled to contain herself, almost wishing that the next second would bring a fight—and then she would beat everyone… No, beat them half to death, as Aske had instructed.

With that thought, she walked over to the rcenary conducting the detection, reached out to touch the Crystal Ball, and had already decided to next pretend to accidentally knock it over, smashing it to pieces on the ground, and then the rcenaries, unable to restrain their fury, would draw their Swords and all hell would break loose.

But as soon as Peggy’s slender fingers touched the Crystal Ball, it imdiately emitted a bright Radiance, as if a small sun had been stuffed inside of it.

That was the Holy Flas of exorcism, which would only ignite upon encountering sothing related to Undead Spirits.

Golden Sparrow rcenaries: ? ? ?

Free Wind rcenaries: ?

Aske: ? ? ?

Peggy: ? ? ?

For a mont, everyone’s faces were filled with question marks. Then, almost simultaneously, their expressions changed.

The Golden Sparrow rcenaries were shocked and dismayed, thinking that the Free Wind rcenary Group was trying to fra and trap this girl, which was utterly despicable and shaless.

As for whether or not the girl might actually be an Undead… That, of course, was impossible. Think of how many undead monsters she helped us slay during this ti, even if she really was an Undead, she must be a good Undead who turned from darkness to light.

The Free Wind rcenaries were equally shocked and dismayed, but their thoughts were completely different. They stared with grim faces at the rcenary holding the Crystal Ball, wondering what was wrong with him. Were you supposed to activate the Crystal Ball after the target arrived for the mission? Forgot already? Did you throw all your orders out of your mind after seeing a beautiful girl?

Although Aske’s expression remained unchanged, his heart suddenly skipped a beat.

Hold on, that Crystal Ball, wasn’t it supposed to have the effect of detecting Undead lineage…?

Everyone was plunged into a sudden and confounding daze, while Peggy still pretended to be impulsive, pushing the Crystal Ball with her hand, causing it to shatter into pieces with a crash on the ground.

“Ah, sorry about that…” She said with a smile, though there was no sign of apology on her face.

“You!” Only the rcenary who had been holding the Crystal Ball finally snapped out of his shock—he was well aware that he didn’t accidentally let the Undead trait slip out, as it was still securely in his sleeve.

So there was only one explanation left, this seemingly charming girl was actually…

“Blood Clan!” He didn’t have ti to draw his sword and could only throw a powerful punch straight at her chest.

“Bring it on!” Peggy’s eyes glead as she t his punch with a counterstrike.

After all, she was a level 19 Transcendent, and her strength must have overwhelmingly crushed that of the level 0 rcenary. The mont their fists collided, the rcenary’s knuckles instantly twisted out of shape, and the unstoppable force spread to his palm bone, wrist bone, and arm bone, while the skin cracked inch by inch under the twisting force.

In just an instant, the rcenary was sent flying backward, his entire arm limply hanging in front of him, with his shoulder misaligned and half of his rib cage caved in.

This wasn’t just breaking limbs, this was a punch that nearly killed him on the spot!

Realizing she had unintentionally used too much force, Peggy quickly applied a Death Deprivation to him, keeping his life intact for now. Then she grabbed another rcenary, perford a Blood Drain, and absorbed half of his Life Force, giving it to the unfortunate fellow whose body was deford.

With the new influx of Life Force, the rcenary visibly began to recover, but nobody had the patience to observe his condition… In the few seconds of rapid confrontation, the entire rcenary Group of Free Wind saw Peggy first blow up the rcenary who held the Crystal Ball with a punch, then casually seize another rcenary, wrapping him in corrupt blood.

By the ti the polluted blood receded, that guy had already closed his eyes, and it was unknown whether he was alive or dead. Now, no one could stand still any longer, and weapons were drawn as they shouted and sward her in an attack.

Seeing the situation turn grim, the Golden Sparrow rcenary also hurried to assist—but considering the girl was this gentleman’s companion, they unanimously looked towards Aske, signaling, “It’s your call!”

“No rush.” The words that ca out of Aske’s mouth left the Golden Sparrow rcenaries sowhat baffled.

What does he an, no rush? If we don’t hurry, your companion is going to be overwheld and killed, you see…

Then, everyone was dumbfounded to find that there was indeed no need to rush to her aid. Peggy had already exploded into a mass of tainted blood, dousing the nearest five or six rcenaries in it.

The corrupt blood, resembling an incredibly elastic substance, ford a thick film on their faces so tough that no amount of scratching could tear it. Soon, these victims were drained of much of their Life Force, leaving them as weak as one who had just recovered from a severe illness, collapsing powerless on the ground.

The blood that covered them continued to divide and splatter in all directions, seizing the next wave of victims.

The surrounding rcenaries quickly tried to save them. However, regardless of whether it was Swords or fists, or even torches hastily lit for burning, nothing worked against this kind of tainted blood—it was a viscous blood without form, not susceptive to being severed or dried out, and no matter what the Free Wind rcenaries tried, they couldn’t destroy this corrupted blood.

They could only watch helplessly as their comrades quickly lost consciousness and sense under the draining of the tainted blood. Then, the blood again divided and splattered, capturing the nearest Free Wind rcenaries, no matter how far they had run in advance.

Finally, after about half a minute, there were no Free Wind rcenaries standing on the field.

The spoiled blood flowed swiftly along the ground, reassembling into the shape of the charming young girl who then snorted coldly through her nose, as if to say, “I haven’t even tried hard, and you’ve all fallen down.”

Then she turned around lightheartedly, showing Aske a sweet smile.
