Revive Rome: Wait! Why not make the empress fall in love with me first? Chapter 736: 111: Shadow Tactics (Two-in-One)2
Chapter 736: Chapter 111: Shadow Tactics (Two-in-One)_2
“I’ll take command,” Aske declared.
The girls quickly stepped back, hastening to his side.
“Use Shadow Tactics,” Aske added.
Then dea imdiately reestablished the Mind Lines to connect everyone, and Aske was about to issue real-ti commands through this Mind Communication.
The so-called Shadow Tactics were a classic signature maneuver previously employed by Aske when he led the Star squad. Essentially, it revolved around the user of the “War Law” as the core of this approach.
Thanks to “Skilled Pillage” of the “War Law,” which allows free copying of any skill from any other Law, the core itself serves both as a commander and the main attacker.
Normally, everyone would follow the core’s commands to initiate a surround attack. At the sa ti, as soon as the core used Skill A, the original user of Skill A would imdiately follow suit, attacking the sa target in unison with the core; similarly, when the core switched to Skill B, it was the turn for the user of Skill B to make their move.
Like a shadow, the shadows would mimic the actions of their source.
The advantage of these tactics lay partly in the fact that the sa skill could double in power; on the other hand, as keyed attacks of importance, the shadows followed and mimicked the core’s strikes, hence minimizing command costs and ensuring the team could synchronize to seize the most precise monts—as the tactical commands were condensed into direct actions, there was no need to articulate them in words.
Of course, since it required constant vigilance and close following of the core’s combinations, this tested the team’s coordination thoroughly. However, there was a trick to this aspect, the “Manipulation Law”…
Through dea’s Mind Lines, Aske’s tactical intent was extracted and then instantly transmitted to everyone’s minds, directly solving the need for team cooperation.
Faced with the different tact of The Azure Longsword people, the Resentful Spirit Demigod slightly elevated her hovering height, her face showing an intrigued expression.
“You…” She began to speak with a mask-like rigid smile, only to see Aske and Mia suddenly teleport beside her!
The shadow-ford blade thrust at her, disappeared halfway through. Both Aske and Mia instantly teleported away, while the Resentful Spirit Demigod had already raised her head, preparing to unleash a wide-scale, indiscriminate Spirit Scream attack in the vicinity.
Suddenly, she lowered her head, forcibly interrupting the skill that hadn’t yet been launched. anwhile, twin Judgent Flas from Aske and Eleanor had ignited from below and around her.
She vanished once again, evidently having used teleportation again. This Demigod’s Instant Teleportation was not like Mia’s Ripple Sword, which allowed almost seamless, continuous activation. However, coupled with the opponent’s Spirit Scream, the cooldowns of both seed to complent each other, leaving the girls previously feeling powerless to respond effectively.
As the opponent disappeared from the spot, Aske turned his gaze to another empty space. With a huge output of Spiritual Output, the Judgent Flas ignited once again.
Where? Why? Eleanor wondered, but still faithfully followed the Squad Leader, igniting the Judgent Flas at the sa spot.
Beneath the deploynt of their skills, flas surged to twice their height and intensity, searing violently at that location.
The Resentful Spirit Demigod appeared in the middle of the flas, instantly issuing a Spirit Scream and pushing back the flas temporarily with a shockwave; she then quickly rose higher to escape, avoiding the flas that reconverged below.
Aske raised his arm, and Thira promptly followed suit.
Catastrophe Law. Tornado!
A spinning vortex rose from the ground, taking the burning Holy Flas straight into the sky, instantly engulfing the Resentful Spirit Demigod.
At this point, she had just used her Spirit Scream, and it seed her Instant Teleportation hadn’t cooled down yet, leaving her helplessly consud by the flas in rapid succession.
“Got her!” exclaid the girls on the ground, clearly seeing and brimming with celebratory expressions.
However, Aske once again, with Thira, dissipated the Tornado, and only then did they see the Resentful Spirit Demigod swiftly dropping from the sky, her entire body still in a semi-transparent gown, unmarked by any burn.
Wait! Using her superior Visual skills, Miel suddenly spotted that the opponent’s transparency seed to have deepened significantly.
Whereas previously one could only clearly discern the general color of the environnt behind her, now one could barely see through to the specific contours of objects beyond.
“Nihility State,” Aske stated simply. More information was transmitted to the girls’ minds through dea’s Mind Communication.
Currently, the Resentful Spirit Demigod had used four skills: initially, a skill similar to Mind Blind Zone, called “ntal Paralysis,” which dea had decoded and was no longer used; next was “Escape,” similar to Ripple Sword, with a cooldown of roughly 1.5-2 seconds.
The third skill was Spirit Scream, also called “Scream of Pain,” which was the Demigod’s super move, containing both physical blasts and psychic damage. Apart from the plants created by Nora and the summons by Sigrdrifa, there was almost no one who dared to receive it head-on—not even Minerva, a Demigod herself.
The fourth skill was what she had just used, called “Nihility State,” which, when activated, greatly reduced all damage, control, and negative effects on her for a duration.
