Revive Rome: Wait! Why not make the empress fall in love with me first? Chapter 640: 19 The Aerial Battlefield
Chapter 640: Chapter 19 The Aerial Battlefield
Aske soared high into the sky.
Since he had activated his Extraordinary Ability, the “Ambush” state was disrupted and shattered, so he simply flew out in the open, allowing the girls to see his figure.
In this world, not every Demigod could fly—if they didn’t possess the corresponding Law Skills.
Thus, those like Eleanor and Peggy, fortunate ones, also grew wings and flew into the blue sky. The forr used “Light Wings” made of Will Radiance, while the latter had Bat Wings that wriggled and transford out of the “Flesh” and “Night Bat” Ability.
As for Nora, before she could comprehend the next Skill “Acquired Inheritance”, she temporarily couldn’t freely evolve feathered wings, and with a lack of offensive attack thods, she could only stay bored on the ground with little Mia, looking up at the high sky.
“You’re not attacking?” Miel looked at dea, who was idly standing by, her flas should also be able to attack the sky.
“The flying speed of flas is too slow, probably can’t hit him,” dea shrugged and pulled out a blazing Fireball with both hands.
Miel was speechless. Indeed, since the Squad Leader dared to fly into the air, it was clear that his flying technique must not be poor.
However, for soone like who can see the future, Evasion is aningless! The Half-elf Girl quickly raised her sniper rifle, the power of Peeping into the Future began to activate, swiftly scanning any possible traces of Aske’s movent in the next few seconds.
…
How could this be? Can’t hit him at all!
Countless world lines spread out before her eyes, each line representing a possible future.
Yet, every future clearly showed that Aske had resolved her shots… He climbed, dove, Rolled, or rapidly shifted horizontally, even used his sword to split bullets; none of her shots could harm him.
There’s no way to defeat him! A thought of despair also flashed through Miel’s mind, and then her Spirituality suddenly shook.
Aske had plundered away her “Mirror Image” Skill of Peeping into the Future…
Well, what’s the point in fighting then, Miel turned her head dispiritedly, just in ti to et dea’s gaze.
The future once again unfolded before her, this ti with the main viewpoint fixed on dea. Among the myriad diverging world lines, Miss Enchanting Demon’s choices were almost surprisingly uniform:
Surrender, surrender, and surrender.
That seems right! Muttered the Half-elf Girl. Since there’s no way to successfully resist, might as well lose with a bit of dignity.
Thus, the two girls with ulterior motives started fervently Throwing attacks at Aske in the air, with a kind of fierce montum that completely disregarded any loss of Spirituality—as long as they kept using Law Skills, quickly exhausting their Spirituality, they could then use this reason to surrender ahead of ti.
Aske, hovering in the air, soon displayed exceptional flying skills. He maintained high-speed movent throughout, even changing direction 2-3 tis a second sotis. The flas from the ground and the bullets with attached abilities couldn’t co anywhere close to hitting his figure.
Thira, learning from Aske’s Tactics, likewise kept up high-speed movent and frequent maneuvering, while continuously casting Fierce Air Flow and Chaotic Force Field, trying to squeeze Aske’s flight path.
Eleanor charged forward quickly, closing in on Aske, occasionally firing off streams of Will Light Flow, shooting towards Aske like bullets. Peggy swung her Longsword in the air, rapidly creating one Illusion Sword Avatar after another, coordinating with Eleanor to start enclosing the Squad Leader.
Aske let out a light chuckle, drew out a Longsword from the void, and began to create Illusion Sword Avatars as well.
“Peggy!” Thira called out hastily.
Peggy: ……
Clearly, using the Undead Illusion Sword was a mistake because once Aske plundered her Illusion Sword, he also possessed the ability to clone himself, causing Thira’s encirclent plan to fall apart imdiately.
“The true experts in battle,” Aske said with a chuckle, “don’t just blindly throw out all their skills and expect it to work. Sotis, misusing a skill can have unforeseen consequences.”
At this point in the sky, Aske had already created more than a dozen clones of himself, which then all turned into light flow, utilizing Eleanor’s Law Skills.
These streams of light rapidly rushed toward Thira, who hurriedly moved to evade. However, the speed of the light flow was much faster than her flying speed. In a short ti, it had ford a cage that locked Thira within.
“Thira!” Eleanor rushed over in an attempt to rescue her, only to see Aske’s figure erging from within the cage, smiling and saying,
“You need to have a clear idea of the projection speed of your ranged skills and your own flying speed, to know which is faster and which is slower…”
As Aske spoke, he suddenly delivered a punch to Thira.
His fist, covered in the radiance of willpower, slamd heavily into Thira’s abdon, causing her to hunch over and spit out a mouthful of gastric acid, then imdiately losing balance and plumting toward the ground.
Down below, Nora quickly activated her ability, causing an abundance of branches and vines to sprout from the surrounding trees and catch the falling Thira.
“All right, now it’s your turn,” Aske turned around and said with a smile.
Eleanor and Peggy imdiately felt terrified, though they still maintained a calm deanor on the surface and continued to attack Aske.
Will Armor Light Flow Dive!
Law Embodint Curse Death!
Gold and black skills ford a barrage that nearly covered the entire sky, shattering and dissipating most of Aske’s clones.
Only his real body remained, flying furiously with the protection of the Will Armor’s shield, heading straight toward Eleanor.
Eleanor hastily circulated the Will Light Flow throughout her body. Holy Sword State activated!
“Rember, the Holy Sword doesn’t an you’re invincible…” Aske didn’t move to attack, but instead murmured. Inside the radiance, Eleanor was slightly startled as her perspective suddenly started spinning.
The amplified gravity suddenly bore down on her, rendering the wings ford by the Will Armor, no matter how hard they flapped, incapable of providing sufficient lift. She then accelerated downward, smashing heavily into the depths of the ground.
“So, it’s Peggy’s turn next?” Aske hovered and turned to look at Peggy, “Are you ready?”
Peggy: ………
“Can we not fight?” The Blood Clan girl tried to muster a sweet smile.
“You could use ‘Flesh Power’ to numb your pain,” Aske said with a strange “sothing’s off with you” look.
Peggy’s smile stiffened on her face. Though she could numb the pain, she didn’t like the idea of being beaten into the ground and feeling ragged and dirty all over.
But, for the sake of increasing the Squad Leader’s affection and approval, she’d go for it!
Peggy took a deep breath and declared,
“I’m ready!”
Her body suddenly transford into a multitude of night bats, scattering in all directions.
Aske made no move, simply watching these bats with a smile when suddenly a line of blood trickled from his nose.
“A plague, huh? Not a bad strategy.” He casually swung his longsword, cutting off the plague that was starting to spread within him.
Then, a violent windstorm burst forth from around him, quickly sweeping up the bats that had not yet dispersed.
