Revive Rome: Wait! Why not make the empress fall in love with me first? Chapter 553 - 63 Spirituality Evolution
Mia seized the opportunity to practice on that Polluter. In no ti, she had employed the thods taught by Aske and had the creature utterly disoriented, toying with it as a cat does with a mouse.
The Temple Knights were secretly amazed, not expecting the beautiful girl to have such sharp and precise moves, her military prowess rivaling that of hardened professional soldiers.
Next up was Miel. Before Aske could speak, the half-elf girl had already gracefully stepped forward.
"Miel," Aske rembered her Bloodline was that of a "Destiny Shooter" who needed to condense the "Fate Law." but...
"What tactical route did you choose again?"
"I haven’t," Miel replied. "Last ti, when we left the Sparta City State for the Holy Solomon Empire, you only established tactical routes for Eleanor, Sigrdrifa, Peggy, and Mia. You said you’d arrange the rest later, but there was no follow-up."
The other girls looked at him with eyes full of silent reproach.
"Ah, now I rember," Aske also recalled the matter and said with a dry laugh, "Since your abilities are more on the long-range and spiritual side, the choice of tactical routes is strongly correlated to the Laws you aim to condense. I was planning to arrange that after you reach Lv.10."
"Since you chose the Fate Law, your tactical style will involve controlling the battlefield with various unconventional shooting techniques."
"The tactical route I’m going to teach you is called the ’Chaotic Spear Technique.’ It has another nickna, ’Brownian Motion Bullet Rain.’ It utilizes what seems to be an irregular high-frequency firing pattern to achieve precise focus and control by the bullets colliding with each other and obstacles."
"That’s the Bounce Bullet module you’re talking about, right?" A Knight interjected. "I’ve got one installed in my cybernetic eye as well, but it’s not very accurate. It’s less useful than smart-tracking firearm modules."
"Do you know why it’s not accurate?" Aske glanced at him and said, "Because to achieve directional rebound from the collision, the prerequisite is that the bullet and the material it hits undergo a ’perfectly elastic collision.’"
Miel: ??
"Yes, that’s right," the Knight nodded, apparently understanding. "The most troubleso thing is that we can’t determine the hardness of the collision material. Once the bullet deforms upon striking sothing, its trajectory imdiately veers off from our calculations."
"The real trick," Aske said with a smile, "lies in using a bit of ’little luck’ to correct the variables."
Oh, use luck. Miel finally understood, while the Knight seed more confused.
"Speaking of which," Aske looked at the Spiritual Body Polluter still battling Mia, and asked the Knight, "Can you lure another creature over here?"
"Of course," the Knight readily agreed. On one hand, he wanted to curry favor with the Lixini Family; on the other, they were curious to see what unusual heretical thods this Transcendent would employ to handle the long-standing issue of the bounce bullets’ accuracy.
Within a few minutes, they brought back another Polluter. It appeared that these monsters were starting to surface in large numbers in the city area, and the group didn’t even need to venture far to track them down.
"Plunder," said Aske.
Miel quickly activated her only Skill, the ability from the Luck Sequence, allowing Aske to conduct a plundering duplication.
"Okay," once the duplication was complete, Aske pulled a handgun out of thin air and said, "The most basic bounce shot operation in the Chaotic Spear Technique is to fire at the ground for rebounding bullets."
He fired with his arm outstretched downwards, and the bullet rushed to the ground before bouncing up, passing through the Spiritual Body of the Polluter from behind.
Aske shot with both hands, rat-a-tat-tat, all bullets aid at the ground, rebounding once before hitting their target’s Spiritual Body, all striking precisely at the chest area, although they didn’t cause any damage.
"The specialty of the bounce shot is that the enemy can’t predict your shot’s landing point based on the direction of your gun barrel and evade," said Aske as he retreated to maintain shooting. "The downside is that the ricochet will reduce montum, lowering the damage."
Aske suddenly raised the gun barrel, aid at the Spiritual Body, and fired without the aid of his Luck Ability. The greatly increased recoil shook his wrist, and the bullet imdiately went off to who knows where.
"When you have accumulated a certain degree of misfortune, aim and shoot without relying on your Ability. At that mont, misfortune will erupt swiftly, preventing your hit with so low-probability unfortunate events. As soon as you miss, much of the misfortune that had accumulated will be released."
"During a bounce shot, the closer your shooting angle is to the correct trajectory, the smaller the adjustnt needed from luck, and the less misfortune you accumulate. Due to the complete Bloodline of the Destiny Shooter, you can clearly perceive the misfortune value each shot brings, so you can use this to verify the accuracy of your angle."
"After long-term training, your judgent of the shooting angle will beco increasingly accurate, and luck adjustnts will play a smaller and smaller role. This is the first phase of practicing ’irregular Firearms technique,’" said Aske as he dispelled the handgun summon, then turned to Miel, "Keep practicing as much as possible and develop a feel for it first."
"Yes," Miel - taking the rifle from her back - prepared to engage the Polluter that was charging towards Aske.
"You deal with the one controlled by Mia," Aske stopped her and said, "I still need this one as a teaching tool."
"Okay," Miel turned around and left. The Temple Knights could hardly believe it. The monsters we are struggling to clear are just teaching tools for you?
"Sigrdrifa, co out!" Aske pulled out an Axe from the air while stepping back to dodge the attack of the Spiritual Essence Polluter.
"Here I co!" Sigrdrifa jumped down the steps. As she activated her Giant Bloodline, her body swelled significantly, surrounded by Frost and Thunder.
"Barbarian Battle Technique focuses on Plundering weapons from the enemy and throwing weapons; the key is to burst out with damage instantly," Aske, borrowing her ability and transforming into a Frost Titan of enormous stature, said, "You have that Axe, so you can skip the weapon Plundering. Just focus on throwing weapons. Tell , what’s the difference in effects when Frost and Thunder are affixed to a weapon?"
"Uh," Sigrdrifa hesitated, "Frost is cold, and Thunder is numbing?"
"Do you believe it will all hurt if I hit you with it?" Aske raised an eyebrow.
"Don’t rush !" Sigrdrifa blurted in desperation, "I’ve got it! Frost causes enemies to slow down, while Thunder makes them pause, interrupting their actions!"
"It seems the pressure thod does work, even can cure your stupidity," Aske scoffed, attaching Frost to his Axe and launching it. It pierced the Polluter’s Spiritual Body from behind and quickly froze it.
"That’s Violence thod, not a stress thod!" Sigrdrifa imitated him, throwing her cold axe and piercing the target’s Spiritual Body again.
Suddenly, the frozen Spiritual Body transford from a translucent pale blue to a fiery red. The flas that arose quickly dispersed the surrounding Cold air. More burning vines swung around, carrying countless fluttering sparks, slashing rapidly towards Aske.
"Hey, this guy can use Arcane too?" Aske exclaid, quickly backstepping to dodge, "dea, check it out!"
"It’s the ’Fla’ Sequence, alright," dea checked with Spirituality from behind, and said curiously, "About level III in strength."
Could this thing also be capable of Evolution, inheriting the evolutionary trait of the Source Tree? Aske pondered for a mont and then more or less conjectured the conclusion:
This Spiritual Essence Polluter, before being infected, must have been a Transcendent with the Fla Sequence, which allowed it to emit flas now.
What if a Demigod were to be accidentally infected? Wouldn’t there be a Demigod Level Spiritual Essence Polluter straight away?
Hmm, I should confirm this with Nora’s brother. Wouldn’t want to accidentally turn a real fight upside down and attract a Demigod Level Polluter.
With that thought, Aske had Sigrdrifa deal with the creature while he returned to the front of the Lysine Building and began to call for the artificial intelligence Vesta.
