213: Chapter 11 What Did the Counterfeit Say 213: Chapter 11 What Did the Counterfeit Say Everyone rushed to the scene, only to see “Mia” being simultaneously impaled by the real Peggy and her Undead Illusion Sword Avatar, tragically dying on the spot.

“Damn it!” Mia stomped her feet in anger, “Why is this clone pretending to be so weak?!”

“Another one?” Peggy coldly glanced over and imdiately launched another attack with her illusion.

“Bring it on!” Mia imdiately drew her weapon to et the attack.

“Don’t be hasty in fighting!” Aske quickly shouted, “Peggy, look carefully, we’re the real ones!”

“How to prove it?” Peggy asked coldly, obviously distrusting Aske before her.

“Hmm.” Aske pondered for a mont, “How about we spar?

By using familiar moves, perhaps I can prove my identity, right?”

His tone was gentle and natural, but Peggy couldn’t help but shudder—she interpreted the implied aning of his words as “Feel the pain!” and “Rember the fear I brought you!”

To describe one-sided oppression and beating as “sparring,” “practice,” or “helping you to enhance your strength,” without any rcy—such shaless style was indeed typical of the Squad Leader!

Could this Aske really be genuine?

Peggy was sowhat stunned, only to hear Thira shouting from behind:

“Star Nine Forms!

The counterfeit can’t use Extraordinary Swordsmanship.

If you can use Star Nine Forms to eliminate these fakes, then we’ll believe you’re the real one!”

“That works.” Aske laughed, blade and shield in hand, and imdiately confronted the “Aske” who was fiercely fighting with Sigrdrifa.

“So it’s you…” the fake “Aske” said with a wry smile.

“How about that, scared now?” Aske shook his longsword, imdiately using Star Nine Forms – Sharp Breaking, aiming directly at the opponent’s skull.

“When your clone is quite miserable.” The fake “Aske” sighed, “Knowing for sure I can’t win, yet still having to face death defiantly.”

He tried to jump back repeatedly, attempting to dodge the longsword.

However, Aske, as if anticipating this, sped forward with an Instant Step.

Star Nine Forms – Sharp Breaking instantly pinned his clone to the ground.

Releasing the sword hilt, Aske then took a long spear from behind and attacked the fake “Eleanor.”

“Eleanor” tried to block with her shield, but Aske’s long spear vibrated, rapidly attacking her undefended feet at a slant.

“Eleanor” hurriedly moved the shield to protect her lower body, but suddenly her forehead burst out in blood—Miel, seizing the opportunity when she exposed her head, shot a bullet that hit her skull.

She involuntarily fell backward, and Aske took the opportunity to sweep his weapon, using Iron Cutting to send the fake’s shield flying, then delivered a powerful Cloud Piercing stab, impaling “Eleanor” and pinning her against the nearby wall.

Then he pulled an axe from his waist with his right hand and threw it at the remaining “dea,” while his left hand fired three shots, sealing all her directions for evasion.

Thus “dea” too was inevitably cleaved by the flying axe, dying on the spot.

“It’s settled.” Aske spoke, turning around to assess Squad A girls’ condition.

Sigrdrifa was the most injured, apparently having been beaten by the fakes.

Her teorite Armor was pierced in several places by a long spear.

Fortunately, all vital spots were missed, probably because she used the frost effect of the North Wind Axe to slow down the enemies’ assault.

Thira and Nora were also in a disheveled state, both bearing marks of fla burns, which made dea sigh endlessly—my flas didn’t touch your fakes, so how co you got roasted by my fakes?

The best in condition were Peggy and Miel; the latter stayed hidden in the back, firing with firearms, thus hardly suffering any injuries.

Peggy was undoubtedly the MVP of this battle, using her swift movents and Undead Illusion Sword to engage most of the enemies, preventing them from landing a fatal blow on Sigrdrifa until Squad B’s arrival.

“What a disgrace, comrades.” Aske sighed, “Do you know how your fakes fought with us?”

dea then explained the situation to Squad A girls, leaving Thira both astonished and ashad.

Letting Peggy carry her at high speed, then unleashing the “Storm” and “teor” AOE techniques to control the battlefield, why hadn’t I thought of that at the ti?

Thira stared at her minor wound, sighing deeply.

Nora healed Sigrdrifa and then began to heal and revive the other mbers.

anwhile, Mia had collected all the wizard fragnts left by the vanished bodies and also picked up Aske’s weapon, returning it to the squad leader with a pleasing manner.

“Oh right,” dea asked curiously, “how did you figure out they were fakes?”

The girls of Team A looked at each other, then turned their eyes toward Peggy and Nora simultaneously.

“Mm,” Nora said, her cheeks slightly blushing as she pointed at Peggy, “Peggy was the first to realize that Aske was fake.”

“No, no, no,” Peggy turned away awkwardly, “Nora noticed it first; I only realized there was a problem after she ntioned it.”

dea’s eyes flickered, reading sothing interesting from their minds, and a sly smile appeared on her face.

“So, who noticed it first?” Sigrdrifa asked, clearly puzzled.

“In any case, since it’s already settled, let’s not dwell on it too much,” Nora said hastily, waving her hand.

“Why not?” Sigrdrifa beca even more confused.

“No reason!” Nora said, visibly annoyed.

This normally gentle person, when irritated, was especially intimidating, causing Sigrdrifa to quickly shut her mouth and hide sheepishly behind Eleanor.

“Aske, do you want to know?” dea whispered into the mind communication channel to Aske.

“No,” Aske said.

“Don’t be so quick to refuse,” dea said playfully, “I can give you three hints: confession, quarrel, wings.”

Aske: …

He roughly understood what “confession” and “quarrel” ant.

But what on earth did she an by “wings”?

Fake Aske, what did you say?!

Shaless guy, daring to impersonate and act like a scoundrel!

I let you die too easily just now!

“So, that fake pretending to be wanted to stir up trouble between Nora and Peggy, intensifying team conflicts too forcefully, which is why he exposed himself?” Aske warned dea, “Don’t stir up unnecessary trouble.”

“Of course not,” dea said.

“It seems your plan is going smoothly,” dusa suddenly spoke from within.

“What plan?

They started arguing on their own,” dea replied with a slight sneer.

“You almost make believe that,” dusa said sarcastically.

“Do you know, dusa?” dea said indifferently, “Our current enemy is not each other, but Aske himself.”

“As long as he clings to his stubborn notion of returning, we must make it our ultimate goal to prevent his departure.

After all, once he leaves this world…”

“…there will be no victors, only losers,” dusa remarked, “But these foolish won seem not to realize that.”

“So I will make them realize it,” dea slowly said, “I can’t be the only one sacrificing myself, taking on Aske’s bla and anger.”

“You’re almost becoming unrecognizable, dea,” dusa said, “With your old temperant, you would never allow even a slight chance for soone else to touch the man you fancy.”

“No.

I have never been more persistent about being myself,” dea scoffed, “By any ans necessary, at any cost, even if it ans giving up everything…”

“…to keep him in this world.”
