"What the hell did you just call ?"
"Ardyn, isn’t that your real na." She asked, her tone now confident and taunting, my fingers loosening instinctively around her neck.
I smirked, intrigued. This girl was much more interesting than I expected."And how would you know that?"
"Because I can see your past. That’s my power, when I look deep into the eyes of anyone, I’m able to see through their past. And well, this ti...I saw the past of soone else instead of Lucian, which made it clear to ."
My expression hardened, and my fingers tightening around her neck hard enough to hurt this ti, "And who gave you the damn right to pry? Never heard of sothing called privacy?"
"I gave you enough privacy, at least I didn’t read your mind." She replied, smiling like she’d done a favor. I raised a brow, she could read minds too huh, interesting. She could be of good use later on, no harm in keeping her around.
I released my fingers from around her neck, reaching to brush off the wet strands of hair off her shoulder, watching her tense under my touch. "If you’ve seen my past, you must be aware of who I am right?" I asked, my cold gazed fixed on hers in a daring glare.
She swallowed hard, her gaze unwavering. "A demon lord, a tyrant who wrecked havoc in the immortal realm of a parallel world."
"And you still dare approach with such carelessness. You even begged to save you, what are you? So wreckless idiot who has no value for her life?" I asked, my tone taunting and mocking.
"I... I had no one else." She replied, her gaze softening as she looked down. "I was so sure you wouldn’t save , but I decided to give it a try anyways."
I exhaled, withdrawing my hand and reaching to grab a pair of clothes from the wooden wardrobe beside where we both stood and tossed it up to her. "Wear those and leave, and try not to get in trouble. I’m not interested in partaking in a petty revenge cause. I have more important things to do, find soone else." I said sharply, turning away to head for my bed.
"Wait... please." She called out in a desperate tone. I raised a brow, I’d expect she’d call after but that was fast.
"Please I can’t do this without you. I need you, In return... I’ll serve you for as long as our partnership lasts." She replied firmly, clutching the clothes I gave her so tightly her knuckles turned white.
I smirked in satisfaction, turning around to face her completely. I had expected she was desperate enough to offer herself, and I was right. I had already planned to go through with it, afterall, having such great power at my disposal wasn’t sothing I was willing to let go of.
And her condition was sa as my goal for now, I also wanted to bring down Dante, not so I’ll teach him a lesson for whatever evil he may have caused in this academy or whatever, but to replace him at the top.
With him being at the top, I would never be able to advance from here, I’d be stuck at the bottom playing his little mind gas till we graduated and I’d still be in last place, which would be a nightmare if that happened.
"So you’ll serve huh?" I asked, grinning so wildly I’m sure she found it creepy. She swallowed and nodded.
"Fine," I said at last. "We’ve got a deal. Now get dressed and get out of my sight. Tomorrow, we’ll talk details. And be sure to reach out if Dante happens to borther you again. "
"I’ll contact you through telepathy," she said quickly, like it was nothing.
I blinked, then laughed once in disbelief. "Telepathy too? Just how many tricks do you have up your sleeve?"
She smirked, her smile returning, almost smug. "Anything that touches the mind, i can read thoughts when I want, see mories of any period I wish, and communicate through telepathy."
I stared at her for a long mont before the grin returned, sharper this ti. "You’re full of surprises." My tone dropped, turning into sothing quiet predatory. "You’ve just beco my favorite toy, Lilian."
She smiled, contempted. "How should I address you from now on?"
"Just call Lucian, that’s the na I bear now anyways." With that, I lay on my bed, closing my eyes and letting sleep drift to the dream world.
I woke up the next morning to feel soone laying over my body, a head on my chest, soft boobs pressing over , definitely a woman. Lilian? Had she slept here?
I exhaled, then quietly, I turned her over to get off my body and lay on the bed instead, the I headed to the bathroom to wash up and prepare for the morning.
I stepped out monts later and to my surprise, she was no longer there. Seconds later, Lucian’s phone which I hadn’t used since I took over his body buzzed from on top of the table.
I walked over to check who had sent a ssage. From his mories I saw, the only person who ever bothered to call and check up on him were his mom and a retired old teacher from this Academy. Aside them, Lucian had no friends. A
I picked up the phone and scrolled through, and to my surprise, it was a ssage from Lilian. It had her na saved there as Lilian.
I’m so sorry for sleeping over, I got carried away and dozed off, I left in a hurry because I couldn’t risk being found out to have slept in the male’s dorm. Also, I saved my number here so we can communicate easily. Telepathy drains a lot from so it’s not sothing I could use frequently, also..the farther the distance, the harder it gets, I hope you don’t mind.
She has such an interesting ability. What could her rank be? Now that I think about it, I have no idea what exactly Lucian’s ability is. If I have no idea, does that an Lucian himself didn’t know either?
