Nearly an hour after he arrived ho, Tyler was finally free and could now take his ti to think.

He had already arranged the items he brought into their appropriate places—his wardrobe and Devin’s. He also got rid of their old clothes, but made sure to keep Devin’s favorites.

He had no idea if Devin would want to throw them out, so he left that decision to him.

After arranging the things he bought, he took his ti to deep clean the entire house. Once he was done, he took a bath to freshen up.

"That was slightly tiring, but the bath did its intended job," Tyler sighed with a small smile as he collapsed into bed, causing it to squeak.

Hearing the bed squeaking under him, it reminded Tyler that he need to replace all the furniture, electronic devices and every single gadgets in the house.

In short, the whole house needs a massive renovation and everything inside it needs replacent.

Tyler knew that with how things are looking at the mont with the restriction and everything else, getting enough money to buy a house—the kind of house he wants—will take ti.

He had already done the calculations and realized that, following his current withdrawal plan, it would take him at least two months—two months and one week to be exact—to reach the $100,000 target.

Realising this, he decided to make so changes to his plans. He knew that buying a new house was off the table for now. Renovating this one would have to do

"If I rember correctly, David said that I should make $100,000 in five months before he can consider helping . He didn’t say I should save or hoard the amount. I just need to make a total of that amount in profit," Tyler muttered to himself.

David’s words were more like "Show you’re not just talking big. Make $100k in profit, and I’ll know you’re serious."

This ans that the withdrawal of $4,100 he made today counts towards the goal. And he needs to earn $95,700 more.

"Fuu... Enough of that. I should focus on what next to do. I can’t sit still for two whole months until the money’s ready," Tyler sighed heavily, closing his eyes briefly.

His mind spun and his thoughts churned as he went down mory lane, searching for any opportunity to make money with minimal risk.

As for the result? Almost nothing. He did co up with a few ideas, but none he could pursue given his current financial situation.

As for what these ideas are, one of them was betting. He rembered so offset gas that happened in his past life.

There were so very morable gas in the NBA, NFL, MLB, and the ongoing NCAA n’s Basketball Tournant, famously referred to as March Madness.

And let’s not forget the biggest tournant in the world, which will be starting in a few months: the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

"Ahhh... Reminds of that word: vuvuzela," Tyler laughed lightly, as mories related to the tournant surfaced.

Though he didn’t rember much about the tournant—or other tournants from this year—in his previous life, he did rember the morable ones. Not the full details like exact scores, goal scorers, or stuff like that, but he did recall the general overview.

"I could work with that. I could create an account on betting platform using my mom’s details this ti. Use her id to open the account. She might not agree to it but age doesn’t need to know," Tyler thought to himself.

He thought about it so more and felt it could definitely work. Unlike in the future where the regulations on betting platforms were very tight, it was still lax.

Tyler could easily fake his way through and not be caught—as long he does it right.

"Let’s get to it then. Hopefully they don’t ask for phone number or I will have to explain myself to mom later," he said to himself.

He imdiately stood up from the bed and grabbed his laptop. He opened his browser and imdiately got to work, creating an account on a betting platform.

Beside betting, another idea he has was to buy into a company before it goes public. But he understood how Impossible this is for him.

As a financial analyst, Tyler knew that pre-IPOs were reserved for a certain category of people—the wealthy. For soone like him, there was no way he could possibly get in.

Also, while the betting was a viable option for him, it won’t solve his problem. He needs hundreds of millions to billions of dollars for his plans, and it was beyond impossible for him to get such massive amount from betting.

Also, the only tournant he could bet on was the ongoing March Madness, which was about to end. And he only rembered a few ga results from it—the final and maybe two or three matches before it.

As for other competitions, they were either months away or had already ended. Tyler would have to wait a long ti—and ti wasn’t sothing he had the luxury of.

The way he sees it, he’ll have to use the [Financial Mathematics] specialized knowledge to create sothing.

With the specialised knowledges, he could create anything as long as it’s has to do with the financial market. From a trading bot like VaultX to anything else.

As Tyler was working on the betting account, he was also thinking of what he could possibly create next.

He thought about finance-related things that were popular in his past life, and one particular area ca to mind: fintech.

In the future he ca from, fintech had beco massive. Words alone couldn’t capture how big it was, with giants like MasCard, Vis, Pypl, and the largest crypto exchange platform leading the charge.

And it wasn’t just fintech—High-Frequecy Trading (HFT) and trading algorithms had also exploded in scale and importance.

As Tyler thought about the popular fintech companies and firms built around HFT, and trading algorithms, he started formulating so ideas in his head.

He had already created VaultX—a far more advanced version of trading algorithms that were present in his past life.

He felt that he could create another but this ti it won’t simply be trading. What he was thinking was a sub-program that could tracks and auto-executes low-latency triangular arbitrage trades across global exchanges.

The bot will looks for price discrepancies between currency pairs like USD → EUR → JPY → USD or commodities like Gold in Tokyo vs. London, and skims fractions of profit in milliseconds.

This was still a vague idea in his head but after he’s done with everything related to the betting account, he will flesh it out.

He still had more ideas but the one that grabbed his attention more was related to the fintech industry.

If he rembers correctly Wisa would launch next year and it disrupted the international money transfer industry significantly by offering low-cost, transparent fees and real exchange rates. It was one of the fintech companies that revolutionise the industry.

With [Financial Mathematics], Tyler could create sothing like that and even better. And he could also use it to move his money secretly without triggering any regulatory flag.

Tyler thought about it and imdiately decided to go with these two plans for now—the arbitrage trading sub-program and a fintech app.

"Let’s get to work then," he smiled to himself.

He was already done with the betting account and already placed a bet of $500 to win $3,600.

Yeah, not much but it wasn’t bad either. Besides, he never had the thought of winning millions from betting in the first place.

Letting out a deep breath, Tyler started fleshing out the idea for the trading sub-program.
