Ayumi continued to stare into Arthur's eyes, perhaps wanting to find the answer herself through the reaction of his eyes.
"Honestly, I have my suspicions," she said suddenly.
"And what are your suspicions?" Arthur couldn't help but ask.
If she did guess it, there was nothing he could do about it, especially if she was so sure, he could only admit it.
"Attraction to the opposite sex for n and won of your and Yukiko's age has always been very high. If you're saying that you have desire for each other from always being close, I'm not surprised at all." Ayumi finally said her guess, and it was indeed completely true.
For a mont, Arthur glanced in the other direction. He suddenly felt rather awkward himself.
"You don't have to worry!" Ayumi suddenly continued. "Although the Empire has a lot of rules, I'm personally quite open-minded, I won't try to do sothing as long as it's not exposed anywhere. You know, the imperial family needs to maintain a reputation, it shouldn't co to light that they had sex before marriage."
"That's surprising," Arthur replied with a quiet laugh.
"So you guys really did it?" His words only convinced Ayumi more so that her eyes narrowed.
Arthur didn't argue, he casually replied, "Like you said, it's actually natural. Yukiko is very attractive with her status plus she's also very pretty, and yeah, she has the sa attraction towards for her own reasons. Sothing eventually happened between us."
"I see!" Despite having narrowed her eyes, Ayumi cald down very quickly.
However, looking at her face, Arthur felt like she was thinking about sothing, who knows.
"Then is there so sort of special relationship between you two?" She asked again.
She looked curious as she asked that.
Before Arthur could even reply, she added with a quiet chuckle, "actually if you want, I can get you guys married. Without even making Yukiko lose her status. Wouldn't that be interesting? Having a princess as a wife."
Arthur did not expect that she would say all that, Yukiko would probably be very happy if she heard that because she also wanted it very much.
Of course, Arthur shook his head in response.
"I can't say that there is no special relationship between us, although it still cannot be called as lovers. However, you know that there is a long way to go for a Magus, marriage is too early for now." He said.
In fact, that included his ti living in the Sky World. Even for him who was there, the journey was still so long that he was not ready to decide on sothing like marriage.
"And Yukiko is probably not the woman I will marry if I really decide to get married. I an, she wouldn't be the first woman." Arthur added, which for a mont made Ayumi's mouth open.
After that, she laughed softly. "I understand now. You weren't a man who was loyal to one woman from the start. Or it could be said that your strengths attracted many won while you yourself let it all flow, letting one woman after another throw themselves at you."
She said her analysis, and Arthur couldn't help but admit that she was very quick in coming to a conclusion.
Arthur then nodded. He replied, "I'm not the type to restrain myself too much, after all, my strengths and advantages are the result of my own struggles, so I occasionally enjoy what I can get away with. In the beginning, I had enough of a self-centered side that I didn't take those won seriously. But, you know, people's thoughts sotis change, and over ti, I started to promise that I would take responsibility and take every woman by my side seriously."
"That sounds impressive," Ayumi replied. "However, if you were just an ordinary guy and dared to say that, I'm sure there would be a lot of people who would slap you in the face." She laughed.
Arthur also laughed because it made sense. He said, "So many kings and emperors have had many won, but people have always tolerated it. If they were fair to each of their won, they would even get praise. The world always tolerates what should be unacceptable when it's done by powerful people. Although such thinking has begun to be erased, the fact that it still exists is clear. We sotis hear of a woman suing her husband for divorce because the latter has another woman, but overall, how many won would dare to do that? Most actually just keep quiet and turn a blind eye."
After saying that, Arthur looked at Ayumi who happened to be looking at him as well so their eyes t. Although Ayumi's eyes were hidden behind her sunglasses, Arthur could still see them clearly.
"What?" Surprisingly, Ayumi seed surprised by Ciel's gaze.
The latter replied, "We've been talking so much nonsense. Princess, I'm honestly worried that you've fallen for that nonsense as well."
"You?" Ayumi imdiately showed a shocked expression when she heard Arthur's words.
She even unintentionally took a step back.
Arthur sighed and resud his steps.
The princess hurriedly followed and said, "It seems that you also play tricks once in a while."
"Playing tricks?" Arthur looked at her strangely.
"Yeah, even if you're as great as you say you are, if you choose to do nothing conspicuously, no one will know. You must be playing tricks to impress won."
"Maybe!" In the end, Arthur did not argue after a mont's thought.
Such a thing was indeed possible, but from the start he was also not the type who had to hide to do sothing to keep himself looking ordinary.
Whether he had such intentions or not, the things he did would be seen more often than not.
It was just that, awkwardness seed to arise between him and Ayumi.
The latter occasionally glanced at Arthur, seemingly thinking about sothing.
She couldn't help but feel strange now that there seed to be an unexpected developnt between them.
So things seed uncontrollable.
However, for Ayumi, she had her own destiny when she was born as the first child of the Emperor and Empress of Japan.
She would inherit the throne and continue the imperial bloodline.
One thing that was certain was that she had to marry a Japanese man, it could not be of a different race as that would make her offspring impure again.
Of course, this was not without its problems either.
When she is too great as a woman, her standards subconsciously only beco higher and more nurous, making no one suitable for her. Every man she ets only makes her hesitate, feeling that sothing is missing if her future ti is spent with him.
Even in the end she is still unmarried at her current age. This is actually very slow for an heir to the throne. Usually, they are expected to have offspring sooner so that their children are not so far away from their parents.
