"Finally you guys ca, I thought you wouldn't co," the woman said, walking towards Arthur and Amanda even though they were also walking towards her.

Amanda pursed her lips for a mont, saying, "Mom, you know that the exams are coming up soon, you shouldn't have forced us to co here."

"Oh?" Sophia smiled strangely and looked at Arthur's face, observing.

"Well, I thought he wouldn't mind, and considering his video yesterday, he shouldn't be the type who cares so much about school exams. Right, young man?" She said while winking her left eye at Arthur.

The latter smiled thinly as he replied, "Actually, I don't care even if I don't take the exam."

"Hahaha!" She couldn't help but laugh at that. Her gaze then returned to Amanda. "It seems like you are the one who is too worried."

Amanda rolled her eyes, glancing at Arthur as if protesting because he didn't defend her.

"Let's go inside the house!" Sophia invited Arthur.

The three of them then entered the villa. Even the inside seed very old-fashioned, all kinds of modern objects were made vague so that you sotis didn't realize their existence. Being inside this villa makes you feel like you're back in ancient tis.

The walls didn't have any photos, only paintings that were already looking faded.

"Please have a seat," Sophia said as they arrived in front of the sofa.

After that, she signaled to the maids who were standing in front of the kitchen door.

Seeing Sophia's gesture, they imdiately entered the kitchen.

"Later, you'll have your al here, Arthur," she said. For the first ti, she called Arthur by his na, sothing that made Amanda show a strange look even though nothing was really strange.

Arthur didn't refuse, he nodded in response before sitting on the sofa and looking at Sophia with curiosity.

Although the woman was quite simple in terms of style and character, he thought she had her own charm.

anwhile, after she sat down, Sophia asked, "How is your aunt doing now, is she okay?"

Her question made Arthur look at her so he asked back, "Do you know my aunt?"

Arthur actually wanted to ask if she was friends with his aunt, but he thought the question was a bit too direct, so he chose softer words.

Of course, she couldn't not know Mrs. Isabel if she lived in this city, but let's say Isabel wasn't a congresswoman, would she still know her?

"We were in the sa university, but yeah, we weren't really in the sa group, only communicated when there were group assignnts," Sophia replied.

"But, you know, I was quite impressed with her before, she was very influential when she was still in university. Often did various brilliant actions."

"Oh..." Arthur laughed softly.

"Of course, if you were the sa age as us, you would definitely be my main idol," added Sophia, slightly surprising Arthur.

Amanda even widened her eyes. "Mom, what do you an by saying that?"

"What's wrong with my words? I just like his way of thinking," Sophia replied, looking at Amanda again.

Actually, Amanda was a bit too sensitive here.

Arthur could be an idol for won his age because of his way of thinking. If Sophia was also his age, idolizing him would be natural.

Amanda felt a little embarrassed under her mother's gaze, she looked away.

"Right, I heard you started a business with Amanda, what business is that?" She asked Arthur again. It seed she really didn't know anything about their business.

It might be understandable if she didn't know about the Agarwood because so far, it was sothing done in secret. However, the coffee business was sothing known by everyone in the company including Amanda's father since the latter had called Amanda to ask about it.

Perhaps this woman is the typical housewife.

Of course, it was quite strange because she should still be able to ask her husband unless they haven't t since Amanda's father called Amanda.

Arthur heard that the man was indeed very busy. He often traveled to invest his money in various new companies around the world.

Arthur answered, "it's a coffee and plant business, you'll see it soon and you'll definitely be surprised!"

"Mmm, that must be very impressive because you're so confident," Sophia said.

"Your daughter was also very surprised at the ti," Arthur replied.

"Oh..." Sophia looked at Amanda with a questioning gaze if that was true.

However, Amanda still looked away. Although she was aware of her mother's gaze, she pretended not to see it.

It was quite funny because usually she gave the impression of a top businesswoman. Here, she acted like a young girl, behaving childishly.

Fortunately, at this ti, there was a maid who approached them so they could postpone the conversation. She brought a tray with three cups on it, each containing orange juice.

Arriving at the table, she placed the cups on it, in front of Arthur, Sophia, and Amanda, respectively. After that, she imdiately left.

"Co on, Arthur, you must be thirsty, right?" Shopia said, her hand welcoming Arthur to drink.

However, when he looked at each of the cups, Arthur couldn't help but change his expression. He thought, 'this is crazy, is there sothing wrong with this house?'

He looked at the maid again who had arrived in front of the kitchen door.

"What's wrong, Arthur?" Sophia asked, seeing Arthur not moving to take his cup so she who had just wanted to take her cup stopped her movent.

Hearing her words, Amanda looked at Arthur and couldn't help but show a suspicious expression when she saw Arthur looking at each cup.

"Dear, is there sothing wrong?" she asked, sothing that made Sophia smile strangely.

She thought, 'hmm, at least you dare to show a little romance in front of .'

anwhile, Arthur sighed before answering, "you have to catch that maid and check her!"

"Why?" Sophia was shocked by Arthur's words.

"There's sothing in each of these cups," Arthur replied.

"What?" Sophia almost jumped. "Do you an there's poison?"

"It's more terrible... If we drink this juice, maybe the next thing we do is go to the room and do all the naughty things."

Sophia, "..."

Amanda, "..."
