Arthur only had a short stay in the apartnt though Rose kept trying to get him to stay longer. She wanted to follow but that was impossible now as tonight she had to work with Hunter and the others.
After leaving the apartnt, Arthur went down a street full of cafes and bars, a street that was very lively at night.
Of course, he didn't co here for fun. His eyes scanned every cafe and bar he passed. When he saw a group of familiar people, he stopped and walked up to them.
They consisted of seven people, five n and two won.
When they saw him, they were so shocked that so jumped and so fell off their chairs.
Even after that, their eyes trembled incessantly, as if what had co was an angel of death who was about to harvest their souls.
They were of course the minor agents of the God Eye Organization, Rock, a man in his late 20s, Ben, a short, bald man, Barbara, a woman who had curly reddish hair, and Cora who had short black hair and tan skin. At first glance, they are like uneducated people who end up living on the streets. The last three could be said to be quite inconspicuous, too diocre, so there was no point in ntioning them.
Arthur didn't stop in his tracks because of their reactions. Once in front of them, he sat down on one of the empty seats, crossing his legs.
Barbara was the closest to him. The woman didn't move from her chair, and when Arthur sat down, she tried to force a smile.
After looking at the woman, Arthur glanced at the others one by one, he said, "it seems that your lives are quite good!"
They pressed their lips together at his words, so lowered their heads.
Because Arthur really wanted to chat, so he chose one of them. Barbara was a little calr, looking at her again, he said, "I wonder if your organization will take any other action against my family."
He deliberately released these people in hopes of confusing the organization. Now, that might not do any good if the organization already knows anything else about him from the Mossad.
"L-lord, right now, no more movents or orders. They also only investigated us briefly and didn't do anything else since we really didn't say anything that happened at that ti. We just kept telling them we had failed due to various distractions," Barbara replied.
Of course, Arthur's magic was enough to make it look like they weren't lying when they said they didn't know anything about him or in their case they should have said that nothing happened, they just failed their mission.
"Then why haven't they taken any more action?" asked Arthur. The project is still in the approval process. Even though it's almost finished, it can still be stopped.
"Maybe they want to do sothing else." Rock suddenly chid in. He had cald down after seeing Arthur chatting calmly with Barbara.
"Why?" Arthur stared at him.
"I have heard of your aunt, who may beco minister," said Rock. "Although she has many supporters, there are many who disapprove too, especially from outside. That organization is one of them. I'm sure they will focus on stopping your aunt from becoming a minister."
"I see!" Arthur held his chin in thought.
It was just as his aunt had said, that there might be resistance from people who didn't agree with her taking the ministerial position.
She was a clean official, but of course, no matter how clean she was, it could still be manipulated into making her appear corrupt. In this kind of era, it wouldn't be difficult if it was masterminded by powerful people. However, there are not a few good officials who suddenly beco suspects of corruption.
Ordinary people think that they are deceived by these officials, thinking that they are good officials. Very few know that they are victims of political struggles.
Isabel and her supporters must have expected that and they must have a plan to deal with it. However, what is not certain is whether it will work or not?
In a fight, anyone can win and lose. Even if Isabel was in a superior position, the possibility of losing was always there.
The problem was that after his fight with the Mossad, the enemy must have beco even more unwilling to see Isabel beco a minister.
'Surely there will be undetected movents, sothing perhaps more dangerous,' he thought.
Perhaps they would have co to the conclusion that he and his aunt would be establishing a new power, sothing they definitely didn't want to see because it would interfere with their interests too much.
And there is no doubt that they are a very decisive group in taking action.
The Mossad for example, had no proof that he stole their skulls, but they did not hesitate in taking action against him to the point where they sent in four of their Evolvers.
Added to their previous defeat, it was likely that they would use even more dangerous ans against him next ti.
'It's not easy to detect their movents, these people don't have enough status to know about the things the higher ups of the God Eye Organization are discussing.' Arthur stared at Rock and the others.
He has an idea; to get at least one mber high enough in the organization to be his spy.
"A woman, in her 20s to early 30s, and has a good status in the organization, can you tell one person?" Arthur asked Rock.
Why did he choose a woman? Because he knows what kind of figure he is in the eyes of won. Basically, won are more obedient to him than n, Amanda and Rose are examples.
As long as it was sothing that could be done by either a man or a woman, he would definitely prefer recruiting won.
Of course, it was not sothing he would force. If none of the won matched, he was still open to n.
"A-a woman?" Rock and the others opened their mouths hesitantly.
"If possible, a woman who has so problems in the organization," added Arthur.
The people finally looked at each other. Of course, there are plenty of won in their 20s to cloud 30s. Even though the top people in the organization were mostly old, they still had children and grandchildren who were also part of the organization because in the end, their children and grandchildren would inherit their wealth.
After a few monts of looking at each other, Barbara suddenly said, "lord, the troubled woman you an, what if it's like she's been the frequent victim of racism?"
"For example?" asked Arthur.
"Because she is a woman of mixed blood, Arican and Asian, she is often ostracized and not trusted enough, despite the fact that she is very smart and reliable," answered Barbara.
"You're not talking about Suzune, that Japanese descendant, are you, Barbara?" Cora asked right after Barbara finished speaking.
