[Author Note: Sorry for the delay, I was distracted by re-reading Ruri Dragon and forgot to schedule thechapter.]
The beta test of his ga lasted for a week and it was a huge success, that included the capsule as well. Both beca the topics of every starting conversation for the next coming weeks as if that's the only thing people could think of, Kousuke even heard about it at Kuoh Academy. It wouldn't be a lie to say that the ga and the capsule are both sothing one expects when envisioned the future. That's why the publisher company for the ga, which is also his, has the motto—"Our fate lies in the future."
He just threw that line randomly, but i thought it fit the the they were going for so now it just stuck. In short, his brilliant plan did stupidly well to a point that he even question if there was sothing wrong with the world. When things goes exceptionally well, it beca an instinct of his to be gets even more suspicious. This was sothing he picked up in Otherworld. He had tried getting over it since returning ho, but he can't easily change in the span of a few months. Even a year in the future, Kousuke believes this part of him would remained because it was his greatest survival card.
Even on Earth, there are still Gods and that Beast of Apocalypse that could awaken at any mont. He was only able to relaxed with his girlfriends and having businesses on the side are all because his strength wasn't sothing anyone can underestimate. If he had been any weaker, he would've went through horrible ti dated back when the crazy exorcist turned himself into half humanoid dragon.
There never been a day he didn't train in secret. Even while cuddling with Morgan at her house at this very mont, a part of his mind is still actively harnessing control over his mana. To remain undetected under the witch whom is highly sensitive to mana, it goes to show high his control already was. But that didn't make him any less wary, that if the situation only gets better, he might also lose them just as suddenly as the first ti he was summoned to Otherworld. What has been given, can be taken back, Kousuke lives with that belief.
Even now, he still couldn't understand how he could still use his power at ho. The blessing ca from the planet of Otherworld, it has no connection with Earth. Or at least he thought so. But after awakening his Sacred Gear, Kousuke began to have so doubts. After all, the power of his Sacred Gear, Imaginary Space, mashed really well with his blessing, and the newfound power he acquired after defeating Demon God. 'Could Otherworld once had a connection to Earth, but sothing happened in the past causing it be severed?' Maybe him being summoned and returning had caused that connection to reconnected once again.
"What are you thinking about? you looks so lost in thought," Morgan asked, her eyes remained focus on the show on TV. It was an interview with an esport player, whom were amongst the thousand lucky players to get into the beta test of Infinite Crisis. Of course it was none other than Raymond, so his opinion was as expected, extrely biased from his own experiences.
"Just so small stuff, nothing important," he replied, his arms around her waist tightened as he leaned into her neck. Her aroma and warmth makes him feels calm. It reminds him of the ti they had in Otherworld, except now he's back at his howorld. He had asked Morgan before, if she ever felt hosick since she was suddenly separated from her birthworld, but her answer was a cold no.
To Morgan, she considered Otherworld like living in a building on fire until fire truck cos to the rescue. In this story however, the fire truck was him. In short, the only thing she could call ho was by his side.
"You can't fool , my dear husband~ I can see through you," She said, turning her body to face him with her arms wrapped around his neck. Her calculating gaze bore into his eyes as if to show him that she wasn't lying. At first he simply stares back at her before sighing.
"You're right, I was just thinking if there's so kind of connection between my world and Otherworld, it can't be that simple," he relented under her gaze and voiced out his thought at her. She gives a faint humming and pondered for a mont. She never really thought deeply about her sudden appearance in his world. Morgan thought it was over when the Demon God appeared before her, she didn't even have the ti to resist as her whole body was imdiately covered with disgusting Mana and the blinding light that cos right after. By the ti she regained her sight, she was already on Earth.
"Now that I thinks about it... I understand why I felt deja vu when you used your reversed-engineered-hero-summoning-turned teleportation," she suddenly muttered with enlightened look on her face. "it feels similar to when the Demon God sent to this world."
"That's not surprising, you might not know this, but the hero summoning spell was the work of that Demon God to begin with. That's why I'm thinking if HE was once a God from Earth, which Pantheon did HE ca from? For soone at HIS level, there should be so info or even traces of HIM in this world."
"A powerful God... hm, I have so guesses," she muttered after recalling all the information she had gathered until their recent Underworld tour, a few nas surfaced in her mind. "One of them is the King of Olympus Zeus, but nothing unusual happens in our visited to Greek. Then, there's also the Shinto God, Susanoo but that pantheon only cares about Japan. Finally, and the most unlikely of all, the Biblical God that died after sealing Trihexa, the Beast of Apocalypse."
"It can't be Zeus, no matter how crazy Demon God was, HE never really use HIS middle legs at all." Kousuke said with a chuckle, but then he frowned. "Is it confird that the Biblical God truly died? Like have anyone seen his corpse at all? Well, not that I know if soone at that level dies the sa way as every living beings."
"Hmm... as far as I know, it seems individuals at a certain level, by that I ant the Gods, 'felt' his death so it was taken as truth from then on. So no, no one have seen his corpse. Otherwise the Archangels might have look into this more since it's their Daddy after all~"
Kousuke nodded in affirmation, but strangely, his intuition is telling him that there might be so secret behind the death of Biblical God. If he were to put his bet between Susanoo and Big G, the latter is more suspicious. There was rumors that the God-Killing weapon, the Longinus Spear he had taken from CaoCao, possessed a fragnt of Biblical God so he did his research on it in the past. Surprisingly, he did found a blob made of divine energy at the size of his head stored deep inside the spear. But it remained unresponsive even after he had taken it out, so he put it back where it belonged. In short, the rumors was true but there was nothing he could do with it at the mont.
