923: Chapter 924 A Good Miao Seedling

“Teacher Song, which university did you graduate from?”

“Teacher Song, you’re so young!

At our school, the lecturers are all in their thirties, and the professors are usually old n in their forties or fifties.

A teacher as young as you is really rare.”

Everyone began talking at once.

A young dical lecturer was practically a novelty for these students.

Song Xiaodong chuckled and said, “Wisdom doesn’t co with age, and living a hundred years without ambition is aningless.

While Traditional Chinese dicine grows richer with age and experience, the understanding of pharmacology becos increasingly rigid, making innovation harder.”

“As for where I graduated, should I tell you all that I never even went to university?”

“Teacher Song, you’re such a joker.

That’s confidential, huh?”

“Exactly!

You must have a PhD, right?

Here, even our minimum requirent for lecturers is a master’s degree, and they don’t teach nearly as well as you.”

Song Xiaodong smiled and said, “Well, you’re wrong.

I really never went to university.”

The group didn’t believe him at all.

Their chatter left Song Xiaodong both amused and exasperated as he said, “A degree doesn’t define everything.

Many great scientists never had official degrees.

My hope for all of you here is that you focus on truly mastering this skill, rather than just aiming to earn a diploma.”

“Teacher Song, are you saying acupuncture can genuinely cure illnesses?” one male student asked.

Song Xiaodong’s face darkened.

“You’ve been studying for so long, and you still doubt that acupuncture can treat illnesses?”

The male student replied, “We always thought acupuncture was just for health maintenance and therapy, not sothing that actually cures diseases.”

Song Xiaodong was speechless and said, “It seems I’m not familiar with your previous course materials, but I can confidently tell you that acupuncture is most definitely effective in treating illnesses.”

A female student quickly interjected, “Teacher Song, I’ve been feeling uncomfortable these past couple of days, with constant headaches.

Could you help

take a look?”

“Sure!” Song Xiaodong replied readily.

Then he took the girl’s pulse and said, “Your headaches are caused by staying up late all the ti.

Just focus on getting enough sleep; that’ll resolve it.

But I can give you two needles now, and you’ll feel better imdiately.”

Song Xiaodong directly placed two needles into the girl’s neck.

While doing so, he explained the functions of these two acupoints.

Shortly after removing the needles, the girl rubbed her forehead and said, “Wow, it’s really not hurting anymore!”

Boom!

The entire class erupted in excitent.

Over the past couple of years, they had been learning basic dical knowledge but hadn’t conducted any practical applications.

From those basics, they couldn’t help but feel acupuncture’s efficacy was limited—more like a legend.

So had even thought about switching majors.

But now, seeing the actual effects of acupuncture firsthand was far more convincing than any theory.

Their confidence in acupuncture was imdiately rekindled.

“Teacher Song, can you take a look at ?” Lu Yaobing extended her hand.

Song Xiaodong examined her pulse, raised an eyebrow slightly, and then looked at her closely.

“You’re perfectly healthy…

exceptionally healthy, actually.”

Lu Yaobing’s eyes lit up.

“Teacher Song is amazing—he can even tell that!”

“This harmony, which is the foundation of acupuncture, is what helps observe such things,” Song Xiaodong said with a slight smile.

Lu Yaobing asked eagerly, “So, Teacher Song, does that an I would find it easier to master acupuncture techniques?”

“Exactly!” Song Xiaodong nodded.

While checking Lu Yaobing’s pulse earlier, he discovered she actually possessed a trace of True Qi.

Moreover, her True Qi was surprisingly similar to the one he learned at the beginning of his studies.

It’s important to note that Song Xiaodong had encountered many people with True Qi recently, but their Qi differed from his, as theirs largely served to enhance physical strength.

Using acupuncture to channel it outward for healing wasn’t feasible.

Lu Yaobing’s True Qi, however, was incredibly weak—only a faint trace—but even with just this, it allowed her to be healthier than others.

From her words, Song Xiaodong could tell that she was aware of possessing this trace of True Qi.

Receiving such a positive confirmation from Song Xiaodong, Lu Yaobing’s smile grew even brighter.

“Thank you, Teacher Song, for your complint.

I will definitely work hard to learn.”

Song Xiaodong nodded, feeling delighted.

He hadn’t expected to find soone so perfectly suited to learning his expertise at this teaching post.

Coming here as a teacher didn’t feel like a wasted effort, after all.

Glancing at the clock, Song Xiaodong clapped his hands and said, “Alright, ti to resu the class.”

During the next hour, the students were more attentive than ever, and the classroom atmosphere was incredibly lively.

Song Xiaodong encouraged everyone to ask questions and gave clear, well-prepared answers that were easy to understand.

Even when the class officially ended, the discussions hadn’t stopped.

“Hey, since when did the acupuncture class beco this lively?”

“Exactly!

It’s usually so boring, and they’re the ones leaving earlier than us!”

One student peered through the door’s window and said, “The teacher’s a bit younger, but he’s not especially handso.

That can’t be the only reason for all this excitent, right?”

“You don’t get it.

Young teachers are rare in our d school.

When a young instructor takes a class, students treat them like treasures.”

Song Xiaodong finally wrapped up the lesson and gave a few instructions before preparing to leave.

Yet Lu Yaobing quickly caught up to him and said, “Teacher Song, I still have so questions I’d like to consult with you about.

Could we find a place where I can ask you properly?”

Song Xiaodong hesitated for a mont and replied, “Next week, perhaps.

I’ve got other plans tonight and need to leave imdiately.

Next Wednesday over lunch, I’ll make ti to chat with you.”

Lu Yaobing walked beside him and asked, “Teacher Song, are you always this busy?”

With a smile, Song Xiaodong explained, “I’m just a guest professor here.

I only teach one class a week.

Most of the ti, I’m back at the hospital.”

Lu Yaobing, shocked, exclaid, “Professor?

Teacher Song, you’re already a professor?”

“Just a guest professor.”

“Which hospital are you with, Teacher Song?”

“I’m at Minghe’s Second Hospital.

You may intern there soday.”

“Oh, that’s great!

But our internships won’t start until next year.”

Song Xiaodong nodded.

“Yes, focus on building a strong foundation now, especially given the unique advantage you have.

With a solid base, you’ll find learning much more efficient.”

“Understood!

Thank you for the guidance, Teacher Song.” Flashing him a sweet smile, Lu Yaobing said cheerfully, “Alright then, Teacher Song, goodbye!” She then bounced off, parting ways with him energetically.
