91: Chapter 91: The Unyielding Qiao Yutong

“Song Xiaodong, I’m telling you, don’t hold back your strength today.

I want to see just how tough you really are!” Qiao Yutong, tossing aside her shoes, flexed her wrists and ankles, staring nacingly at Song Xiaodong.

“Let’s not, shall we?

You’re such a beauty, and if I hurt you, my heart would ache.”

Whenever he was with Qiao Yutong, Song Xiaodong couldn’t help but tease her a bit.

“Scram!” Qiao Yutong roared in anger, her leg whipping out in a kick aid at Song Xiaodong’s waist.

She thought Song Xiaodong would dodge, but to her surprise, he didn’t move a muscle, and her leg connected squarely with his waist.

Qiao Yutong was taken aback and pulled back midway, so by the ti her leg reached Song Xiaodong’s waist, it hardly had any force left.

She snapped, “Take this seriously.”

Song Xiaodong let go of his hands, catching Qiao Yutong’s calf, and said with a grin, “You attack without warning, and I’m not at all prepared.

How could I possibly dodge?”

“You jerk, let go of .” Qiao Yutong tried to pull her leg back, but Song Xiaodong tightened his hold, causing her eyes to widen with fury.

“Not letting go.

Can’t we have a nice talk?

Look at this wonderful ti and place, and with a beauty like you, talking about fighting and killing—it really spoils the mood.” As he spoke, Song Xiaodong’s fingers gently traced a line on Qiao Yutong’s leg.

“You…

go to hell!” This was an absolute insult to Qiao Yutong.

With a furious shout and using her trapped leg as leverage, she suddenly leaped into the air, her other leg sweeping towards Song Xiaodong’s head.

“Ouch!” Just as Qiao Yutong’s strength was halfway released, Song Xiaodong suddenly loosened his grip, and she lost her fulcrum in midair, losing balance.

It was no longer a question of attacking Song Xiaodong, but rather of how to fall without too much embarrassnt.

Song Xiaodong leaned forward, his arms already under Qiao Yutong’s waist and legs, lifting her in a horizontal hold, as he chuckled, “Tsk tsk, you’re being way too forward.”

“You rogue!” Qiao Yutong was even more furious, aiming a punch at Song Xiaodong’s face.

Unable to free his hands, Song Xiaodong simply turned his head to dodge Qiao Yutong’s fist.

Having been humiliated thus, Qiao Yutong was not about to stop; lying in Song Xiaodong’s embrace, she ceaselessly struck at his face.

With his head dodging and shoulders blocking, even as Qiao Yutong’s assault was relentless, she still couldn’t land a hit on his face.

This infuriated Qiao Yutong to the brink of insanity; never before in combat had she felt such frustration.

After missing yet again with two punches, she naturally wrapped both arms around Song Xiaodong’s neck.

Not stopping there, she then opened her mouth wide and bit down on Song Xiaodong’s shoulder.

“Ah!” In pain, Song Xiaodong imdiately threw Qiao Yutong off.

Before Qiao Yutong hit the mat, she executed a graceful roll, dispelling the force of the fall, and then quickly sprang up to launch another attack on Song Xiaodong.

“Hey, are you a dog or sothing, biting people?” Song Xiaodong dodged as he glared and shouted.

“Jerk, stop dodging, have the guts to fight

fairly—stop hiding, are you even a man?”

“You know very well how gutsy I am, and you’re still asking if I’m a man?” Song Xiaodong asked with a sly grin.

“Go to hell!” Qiao Yutong was furious, resembling a nacing tigress as her fists and feet hailed down on Song Xiaodong like a violent storm.

“Hey, hey, we were just ssing around.

Do you have to fight like your life depends on it?” Song Xiaodong saw that Qiao Yutong was genuinely furious and stopped teasing her.

Qiao Yutong barked, “Then fight back.

Let

see just how strong you really are.”

“Sigh, you’re a woman; why are you so competitive?” Song Xiaodong shook his head and reluctantly struck back.

Indeed, Qiao Yutong’s kung fu was impressive.

She could probably be considered a standout in the local police force, but compared to those Song Xiaodong had encountered before, her skills were nothing special.

At the very least, among the won Song Xiaodong knew, there were many who were far more formidable than Qiao Yutong.

If he had simply defeated Qiao Yutong outright, it would have been too demoralizing, so Song Xiaodong sparred with her for a while before finally grabbing her wrist and trapping her neck with his other arm, effectively restraining her.

“Are we good now?” Song Xiaodong asked, smiling.

Without a second thought, Qiao Yutong answered, “No way!”

“Then what do you want?” Song Xiaodong frowned.

“You were clearly going easy on .

You didn’t let

see your real strength at all, so we need to fight again.

I want you to show

your true power.”

Song Xiaodong said sowhat helplessly, “Hey, this is as good as I get, you know?”

Qiao Yutong snorted and said, “Do you think I’m an idiot?

Can’t I tell if you were going easy on ?

Let

go, let’s do it again.”

Song Xiaodong truly found himself at a loss for words this ti.

This Qiao Yutong was really quite persistent as he let her go.

Qiao Yutong attacked again, this ti much more cautiously, no longer striking with the sa ferocity as before.

Song Xiaodong lightly shook his head and after exchanging a few moves with Qiao Yutong, as she leapt up to kick him, he swiftly moved in, stretching both arms and catching Qiao Yutong in his embrace mid-air.

Her move, only half-executed, was already falling apart.

“Why do you like to jump up and kick people so much?

That’s a major no-no, you know.

It might work against soone less skilled than you, but against soone more skilled, you’re basically handing yourself over.”

“You’re right, I lose,” Qiao Yutong said as she wrapped one arm around Song Xiaodong’s neck.

“That’s a better attitude, oh…” Song Xiaodong was nodding in satisfaction when suddenly Qiao Yutong’s arm tightened, clamping down on his neck, and with a bodil thrust, she managed to bring him down to the ground, still keeping a chokehold on his neck.

“I’m dizzy, you’re tricking ,” Song Xiaodong said with a mixture of laughter and helplessness.

“Hehe, don’t you know the saying, ‘The prettier the woman, the more deceitful she is’?

Did you think I wouldn’t deceive you with this kind of temperant I have?

Ha ha, do you admit defeat?”

“No way!” Even though his neck was being choked, Song Xiaodong managed to push up, pinning Qiao Yutong underneath him.

“Ah!” Qiao Yutong, being competitive, saw that choking Song Xiaodong’s neck was her only chance to win.

Ignoring everything else, she just wanted to choke him until he couldn’t breathe.

If she could do that, she would win.

If this were a real fight, Song Xiaodong would have countless ways to break out of this restraint, but those thods would be harmful, and since he bore no grudge against Qiao Yutong, he couldn’t possibly do that to her.
