Capítulo 1963: Chapter 1855: A Scheming Face_3
“Hmm, we won’t do anything stupid, don’t worry.” Song Xiaodong nodded and assured Xu Duoduo.
Even though Xu Duoduo was the coach, when Song Xiaodong told Xu Duoduo not to worry, Xu Duoduo genuinely felt reassured.
This Song Xiaodong, has a skill of making won feel at ease; this sense of security is the fundantal reason why a group of won is wholeheartedly devoted.
“Duoduo, I have a question.” Song Xiaodong spoke halfway.
“Hmm?” Xu Duoduo tidied up her long hair flying in the wind, turning her head to ask Song Xiaodong.
“Why do you like water so much?” Song Xiaodong asked.
“Secret!” Xu Duoduo stepped down from the ship’s bow, not forgetting to turn back and smile at Song Xiaodong.
“Elder Lin, where are we going?” Sun Yiyi felt bored and asked Lin Feng.
“We are going to Bozhaojian Island.” After boarding the ship, Lin Feng finally revealed the truth.
“Where is that?” Sun Yiyi had never heard of this island.
“Bozhaojian Island is the southernmost point of Japanese territory, closest to the Dark Night Sect’s observation area. The Dark Night Sect mbers might also treat this island as a supply station, and the shipwreck salvage company we hired is located here.”
“Oh… doesn’t that an we’ll have to fight once we land…” Sun Yiyi mused.
“This island is Japanese territory, even if they act, they can only do petty theft, don’t worry. Rather, be extra careful when at sea.” Lin Feng was more concerned about sea battles.
“Don’t worry, you have .” Xu Duoduo confidently walked over to Lin Feng and Sun Yiyi.
“The sea is ho to , I’m very familiar with the waters around Bozhaojian Island, as long as you don’t disembark, I can ensure your safety.” Xu Duoduo promised Lin Feng.
“Miss Xu, we ca to dive…” Lin Feng said to Xu Duoduo.
“Well… underwater, I can only ensure one person’s safety.” Xu Duoduo wasn’t as confident about underwater matters.
“Then, you ensure his safety.” Lin Feng turned his head and peered at the daydreaming Song Xiaodong at the bow.
“Okay… but, since you’ve hired a salvage company, why do you need to dive yourselves?” Xu Duoduo questioned.
“It’s because we have competitors; there might be conflicts underwater.” Lin Feng pondered for a mont, deciding to answer.

“Conflict?” Xu Duoduo didn’t want to continue questioning, thought for a mont, and went into the cabin to rest.
Lin Feng walked up to Song Xiaodong.
“Sect Leader, underwater conflicts are extrely dangerous. Xu Duoduo can protect you, but it’s difficult to ensure the safety of your wives.”
“Elder, rest assured, I can go alone.”
“I hope the Sect Leader acts cautiously and cherishes Dragon Gate’s imnse efforts and sacrifices in cultivating the Sect Leader.” Lin Feng looked into Song Xiaodong’s eyes, speaking solemnly.
“Please rest assured, Elder.”
The ship sailed for one night, arriving at Bozhaojian Island early the next morning.
Bozhaojian Island is located at the southernmost tip of the Ryukyu Islands, covering an area of 12.4 square kiloters, with a coastline of 148 kiloters, the highest point at an altitude of 59 ters, and a permanent population of 600 people, belonging to Okinawa Prefecture of Japan, northeast of Wanwan in Hua Country, and is the southernmost inhabited island of the Ryukyu Islands.
Bozhaojian Island has no public transportation across the entire island. It has an airport, but it’s used for ergency landings and isn’t operational regularly, so Song Xiaodong and others can only travel by ship.
Bozhaojian Island originally belonged to the Ryukyu Kingdom, after the iji Restoration, Japan incorporated Ryukyu into its territory, occupied by Arica during World War II, then governance was returned to Japan. Residents mainly engaged in sugarcane cultivation and sugar-making, and also produced Ryukyu sake.
The island is the only one in Japan where the Southern Cross can be observed; each year from February to June, many astronomy enthusiasts visit, though now it’s golden autumn October.
After a day and night’s sailing, they finally disembarked onto land that wouldn’t bully them up and down, feeling exhausted.
It was early morning, the golden sun broke through the eastern clouds, the island’s mist quickly dissipating, revealing an expanse of azure sky. The sea water varied in color from green near shore to deep blue farther out, and on the horizon, turning purple—magnificent. The morning sea breeze was cool and fresh, and the golden beach was deserted, without footprints, parasols, or beach chairs, only an endless expanse of yellow sand stretching inland, vanishing into lush tropical jungle.
“The island scenery is nice!” Sun Yiyi glanced at the island’s view, nodding with satisfaction.
“Hungry, want to eat!” Chu Xianling shouted about wanting to eat.
“Elder Lin, shall we have our al first?” Song Xiaodong suggested.
“Sect Leader, I’ve eaten on the ship, please take your wife to enjoy a half day here, I will go and coordinate with the salvage company, there are many arrangents to be made.”
“Elder Lin, your hard work is appreciated.”
Watching Elder Lin’s slightly stooped figure, Song Xiaodong thought to himself: “If only Qiao Yunxi could grow up a bit faster, to help ease Elder Lin’s burdens. Speaking of, is there no capable character among the Dragon Gate juniors?”
Song Xiaodong took Chu Xianling, Sun Yiyi, and Xu Duoduo to have breakfast.
The cuisine on Bozhaojian Island embodies Japanese dining features, small and exquisite, with ingredients typically island-style, fresh and tasty.
“Hmm, what’s this? It tastes good!” Sun Yiyi pointed at a dish she was eating, asking the server.
The server was an elderly woman nearing 70 years old.
Throughout the island, there were few young people, with the permanent residents mostly elderly; the young had gone out for education or work, leaving behind a few seniors to live leisurely slow lives on the island.
