The man anxiously paced by the poolside, and after a while, there was finally movent on the water’s surface as Song Xiaodong and Xu Duoduo both surfaced.
“Wow, you’re finally out! I’m starving!” Sun Yiyi mumbled upon seeing Song Xiaodong, not recognizing him.
“This ti you both broke records!” Sun Yiyi tid them.
“Why aren’t you off work yet? I’ve been waiting for you downstairs at your place for an hour, and you didn’t co back. That’s why I ca to find you. Why didn’t you give
a heads-up?” The man accused Xu Duoduo angrily.
“58 minutes!” Xu Duoduo checked the ti, frustratedly removing the face mask.
“I still have a tenth left!” Xu Duoduo happily showed the tank reading to Song Xiaodong, as if ignoring her boyfriend’s words.
“I lost!” Song Xiaodong looked at his empty tank gauge, annoyed.
“You think too much!” Xu Duoduo said to Song Xiaodong.
“You distracted !” Song Xiaodong said to Xu Duoduo.
“Who distracted you?” Xu Duoduo denied.
“If you hadn’t let
look at you, I could’ve lasted longer!” Song Xiaodong said.
Xu Duoduo felt a bit shy.
Xu Duoduo and Song Xiaodong swam hand in hand to the poolside.
“Tomorrow, let’s compete again, facing the wall this ti, alright?” Xu Duoduo said to Song Xiaodong.
“That sounds fair!” Song Xiaodong nodded in agreent.
“Alright, alright, let’s go ho, I’m starving! My sister’s making prawns, so Xuanxuan and Yingying can have so!” Chu Xianling, sitting on a poolside bench already in her normal clothes, extended a leg from underneath a white dress, wearing white flat sneakers, saw Song Xiaodong and Xu Duoduo flirt, couldn’t help feeling jealous, and said to Song Xiaodong with pouting lips and wide eyes.
“Hahaha, why are you so…” Sun Yiyi said halfway, fearing Xu Duoduo and her boyfriend’s anger, so she stopped speaking.
