Patting President ng on the shoulder, Kang Xiaohui proudly said, “President ng, from now on, we must collaborate well. With Young Master Zhou backing us, we’re bound to make a fortune.”

President ng frowned internally; he didn’t really like Kang Xiaohui, especially now with his smug visage, which didn’t seem befitting of soone doing big business.

However, with Zhou Xiyun from a prominent family supporting him, President ng didn’t dare offend him. With a smile, he replied, “Of course, we’ll definitely earn big.”

Glancing at Zhou Xiyun, President ng was stirred and said, “Young Master Zhou, there’s sothing I feel necessary to ntion to you.”

“What is it?” Zhou Xiyun asked indifferently.

President ng said, “Well, the thing is, yesterday we were dining at Huafu Restaurant, and then those few people actually dined in the VIP Room One.”

“What?” Zhou Xiyun paused, staring at President ng. “They actually managed to eat in VIP Room One?”

President ng said, “Yes! I even went in to toast them, and Kang Xiaohui saw them enter as well.”

Kang Xiaohui imdiately said, “What’s so special about VIP Room One? If Young Master Zhou wants to go, can’t he go whenever he pleases?”

Zhou Xiyun wanted to boast along with this statent, but he couldn’t utter the words and instead shook his head, saying, “Huafu Hotel’s VIP Room One is not a place I can simply go to; my father would have to make the reservation to get it.”

“Oh wow! That exclusive?” Kang Xiaohui couldn’t help but widen his eyes.

Zhou Xiyun quickly said, “President ng, are you sure you weren’t mistaken, and they really dined there?”

President ng nodded and then recounted the events of yesterday in detail.

After hearing this, Kang Xiaohui said, “Well, they must’ve gotten lucky.”

President ng said, “I can’t figure out what happened, so I ntioned it to Young Master Zhou just in case they have so background, then we should be cautious.”

Kang Xiaohui didn’t want any complications and hurriedly said, “President ng, you’re overthinking. They’re just so young folks from out of town. What kind of background could they possibly have? Even if they have so influence in their place, it won’t affect us here.”

Zhou Xiyun had been in doubt initially, but after Kang Xiaohui spoke like this, he said, “Xiao Hui is right. If they were locals of this age who were impressive, I’d pretty much know them. There’s definitely no one like these people. Even I am not qualified to reserve VIP Room One at Huafu Hotel, so how could they have such connections? This should just be a coincidence.”

Kang Xiaohui hurriedly said, “Right, right, just a coincidence. President ng, don’t overthink it; we have Young Master Zhou to protect us.”

Seeing that Zhou Xiyun didn’t take it seriously, President ng also eased his mind.

The banquet was held in the banquet hall on the eighth floor. Zhou Xiyun, Wang Bing, and President ng entered together, while Kang Xiaohui stood near the entrance, saying, “You guys go ahead; I want to see if those guys can actually get in.”
