Capítulo 1525: Chapter 1497: Pushed Too Far

Lin Su’er felt a pang in her heart, but more than that, she felt relieved, and said, “Dad, don’t worry about it. Dongzi is not involved in that kind of stuff at all.”

“What? He’s not? Then how can he take on those guys?” Lin Su’er’s father grew even more anxious.

Lin Su’er replied, “You don’t need to worry about that. As long as you and Aunt Liu want to be together, Dongzi has his ways. They’re just a few small-ti thugs.”

Lin Su’er’s father’s mouth twitched. Since when did his daughter start speaking so boldly?

Actually, it’s not that Lin Su’er was being bold, it’s just that her perspective has changed. A few small-ti thugs truly weren’t worth her worry anymore.

Just then, the sound of an argunt erupted from the hallway outside.

“What do you think you’re doing? This is a hospital, you can’t just ss around, or we’ll call the police!”

“We’re not ssing around, I’m just here to get my wife back. She was taken away by soone, and I’m not allowed to bring her back? Little girl, don’t get in the way, or I’ll beat you up too.”

Hearing the voice from outside, Liu Dongi’s face turned extrely pale and she stamred, “He… he’s here.”

Lin Su’er’s father also had a change in expression, but he gritted his teeth and said vehently, “Dongi, don’t be afraid. I’ll fight him off even if it costs

this old life.”

“Bang!” The door to the ward was kicked open, and a man said sarcastically, “Looking like that and you still dare talk big. Co on, let’s see how you’re going to fight

in that condition.”

The man seed to be around forty, and a long scar on his forehead made him appear intimidating.

Liu Dongi hurriedly stepped in front of the bed and said urgently, “Don’t make a scene here, it’s a hospital.”

“So what if it’s a hospital? My wife has been taken, am I not supposed to look for her?” The man was Liu Dongi’s ex-husband, Wang Qianyou. He rolled his eyes, then his gaze fell on Lin Su’er.

“Hey, where did this pretty girl co from?”

Liu Dongi knew her ex-husband’s character all too well, and was imdiately alard. She said anxiously, “I don’t know them. They just ca to the wrong place. Su’er, you all should leave quickly, this has nothing to do with you.”

Wang Qianyou squinted his eyes and said, “If you don’t know them, how do you know her na is Su’er? Oh, I’ve heard that this old guy has a pretty daughter, it must be her, right?”

“Su’er, get out quickly.” Wang Dongi was even more anxious and gave Lin Su’er a push.

Wang Qianyou plopped himself onto the sofa in the ward and said leisurely, “You can leave, but this won’t end here. Anyway, I have plenty of ti to drag this out with you all.”

Though Lin Su’er’s father was currently injured, he had sowhat recovered in the recent period, and deep down he was still an old thug. His eyes widened as he shouted, “Bastard, if you have the guts, go ahead and kill , because if you don’t, once I’m healed, I’ll deal with you for sure.”

Wang Qianyou let out a cold laugh and said, “Oh, big words! Sure, co at . This ti I only broke your arms and legs, next ti I’ll cripple your fifth limb, damn it. You think I would let you off easily after ssing with my wife?”

Liu Dongi’s face turned ashen as she said, “Wang Qianyou, I’ll go with you, fine? Just don’t make things difficult for others.”

Wang Qianyou glared and said, “You slept with soone else and think it’s fine if you just co back with ? You think it’s so easy to make

a cuckold?”

Liu Dongi hurriedly said, “I didn’t sleep with him!”

“Didn’t sleep? You think I’m a three-year-old? You’ve been staying at his house for so long, and he defends you like that. You say you didn’t sleep with him, who would believe that? I’ll tell you now, this isn’t over. I won’t let you off until I’ve vented my anger.”
