Chapter 1243: Chapter 1244: Run If You Can’t Win

Song Xiaodong has encountered countless dangers in his life, many tis teetering on the edge of death.

So although he felt shocked now, he wasn’t flustered at all. He suddenly pushed off the ground with his foot, flying backward, while his palms directly twisted towards Qingluan’s wrist.

While standing with Qingluan, he had already maximized his perception ability, but by the ti he felt Qingluan was about to strike, her palm had already co at him.

In front of Qingluan’s absolute speed, one could say his perception ability had no place to be useful.

As he flew back, Qingluan advanced forward, and Song Xiaodong only managed to slightly slow down her palm from striking his chest, unable to completely avoid her attack.

But buying this slight ti was enough for Song Xiaodong to execute his scissors grip move.

His palms directly twisted Qingluan’s hands, but Qingluan didn’t even try to evade, letting Song Xiaodong grip her wrist; she clearly had considerable confidence in her own strength, believing Song Xiaodong’s move wouldn’t cause her any harm.

Song Xiaodong felt as if what he grasped was not flesh and blood, but sothing like steel and iron, and there was an invisible layer of True Qi on Qingluan’s wrist, directly blocking Song Xiaodong’s hands.

Forcing Qingluan’s hand to open seed impossible, the True Qi was being crazily output, it was rotating True Qi.

“Huh?” Qingluan’s wrist pulled back, directly breaking free from Song Xiaodong’s hands, her advancing footsteps stopped abruptly, looking at Song Xiaodong with surprise.

Song Xiaodong flew back five or six steps before stopping.

“Your True Qi is quite special,” Qingluan said, looking at Song Xiaodong.

“I have plenty of other special abilities, especially in bed. Do you want to try?” Song Xiaodong grinned, appearing relaxed, but he knew that he had almost used up his trump cards to narrowly avoid Qingluan’s attack.

“You really deserve to die!” Qingluan shook her head slightly, her face turning cold, and without any visible effort, her foot lightly lifted forward, the distance between them reduced by about three ters.

Just one more step, and she would be in front of Song Xiaodong.

Song Xiaodong now fully understood he wasn’t Qingluan’s match. If he fought her head-on, it wouldn’t be long before he’d end up dead at Qingluan’s hands.

Song Xiaodong was not soone who stubbornly clung to dignity at the cost of suffering. At tis like these, nothing was more important than preserving his own life.

So as soon as Qingluan moved, Song Xiaodong moved as well, but he was retreating directly backward.

“Hmph, let’s see how you handle this move.” Qingluan said coldly, the distance between them closing rapidly once more, her palm striking again towards Song Xiaodong’s chest.

This ti, Song Xiaodong didn’t try to twist Qingluan’s hand but instead confronted her single palm with both of his.

A faint cold light flashed in Qingluan’s eyes as her palm collided with Song Xiaodong’s.

“Huh, sothing’s off!” Qingluan gasped lightly.

Song Xiaodong had no intention of engaging in hard combat with Qingluan, this palm seeming fierce but without exerting force, all focused in his palm.

When their palms collided, his True Qi erupted, but not in hard opposition to Qingluan’s; instead, it protected himself, using Qingluan’s True Qi to propel his entire body into the air.

Qingluan’s True Qi acted like rocket fuel, allowing Song Xiaodong to soar like a rocket, and Song Xiaodong’s body arranged for minimal air resistance, lying flat in the air with his head back, increasing his flying speed.

“Trying to escape?” Qingluan’s body paused, then swiftly leapt, rapidly pursuing Song Xiaodong, her speed matching his aerial flight.

Song Xiaodong flew directly into the forest, seeing Qingluan closing in, feeling extrely alard.

He had prepared thoroughly, but Qingluan’s True Qi was overwhelmingly powerful, rushing through his ridians like a force with unstoppable montum.

If not for his rotating True Qi, which slowly wore down Qingluan’s True Qi, he would have been gravely injured from just that one strike.

The trees in this forest were not only dense but very tall, with many vines entwining the high branches.

Song Xiaodong managed to grab a vine mid-air, and when his forward montum waned, he seized the opportunity to push off a tree trunk, swinging forward with the vine.

This airborne swing significantly increased Song Xiaodong’s speed; he doubted Qingluan could catch up using this thod.

Song Xiaodong was confident because he had ample experience using this technique, having practiced it during missions in tropical rainforests before.

He didn’t believe Qingluan could swiftly traverse the forest using vines as adeptly as he could.

His strength surely wasn’t on par with Qingluan; saving his life depended on his familiarity with the jungle and his rich survival experience.

In the air, he had the leisure to observe Qingluan.

Upon seeing her, Song Xiaodong was utterly astounded; Qingluan, although not using vines, seed to transform into a phantom, darting among the branches with agility surpassing even monkeys, and maintaining trendous speed, the dense forest posing no impedint to her.

“Damn! Is she even human?” Song Xiaodong muttered silently, feeling sowhat relieved that although unable to shake off Qingluan for now, the distance wasn’t closing.

Song Xiaodong soared like Tarzan, swinging through the jungle, with Qingluan tightly pursuing.

“Hey, Qingluan sister, is it necessary to chase a man so persistently? Do you want to catch up and share a bed?”

“Save it, though you’re good-looking, I’m really not interested.” Qingluan retorted.

Song Xiaodong fled while muttering nonsensical words, hoping to provoke Qingluan into anger and disrupt her True Qi.

Yet no matter what he said, Qingluan remained silent, turning a deaf ear.

Geez, are you trying to compete in endurance? Song Xiaodong cursed inwardly, worried that although his Qi was long-lasting, it surely wasn’t as strong as Qingluan’s. At this rate, he feared he’d inevitably tire and fall into her grasp.
