Return of the last survivor Chapter 9: Guns

"Alice?"

Alice was one of the survivors who had helped him grow stronger in the future. She was like a teacher to him. However, one day the association sent her on a month long mission, but she never returned. It was only until a few months later that rlin got to know that she had been killed by a Class 4 zombie wave.

He needed to help her out in this life, and so picked up the unconscious Alice and walked out, only to be greeted by a zombie, pouncing onto him. Thankfully, his reaction speed was far superior than an average human and rlin ducked to avoid the mouth, but soon realised that Alice was on his shoulders, and the zombie was attacking her.

rlin quickly changed his position even faster than before, as he used 2 mana to boost his speed to a frightening level. Rolling to the side, rlin dropped Alice onto the floor and threw himself into the zombie, crushing its head against the wall using his shoulder.

With this, most of the zombies were killed. However, at this ti the other player and his group exited the room they were in, dragging along two half dead officers while gossiping and laughing amongst each other.

rlin was instantly infuriated. Not at the fact that the group had rcilessly beaten soone, nor the fact that they were ignoring it. What he was most irritated by was the fact that the ones they had beaten was on officer, a person that could properly use a gun. He didn't need any other reason and threw his rod through the head of one of the people, as he charged at the player, his knife already drawn.

Only when rlin was half a ter away from him did the player realise what had happened. One of his companions had been instantly killed by this crazy b*stard, and now he was going to kill him!

But it was too late, the knife cleanly beheaded the player before he could react, and rlin went on to exterminate the remaining to, with a terrifying expression on his face.

Even the half-dead officer was trembling in fear as he saw that man. He was the incarnation of death himself as he butchered the n alive.

rlin then turned to the half dead officer and asked

"Do you wish to live?"

Huh? Although it was a simple question, Charles couldn't help but tremble in fear. He knew that if he rejected, he would be killed. With a trembling body, Charles said

"Yes"

"Yes"

"Good, then the two of you will co with us."

Saying this rlin turned around and entered the middle door with Sean and the others.

*Bang*

A bullet was fired at rlin but he was lucky enough to hear the trigger being pulled and barely managed to dodge.

"Who the f*ck was that! Are you f*cking insane!!"

"Ah?"

A fearful shout ca from one of the policen as everyone turned to face the idiot who shot their saviour.

"I'm sorry! I was just scared when the door suddenly opened, and unconsciously sho-"

The man didn't get to complete his sentence when a tal rod nailed him into the wall. He was dead on the spot and everyone had shocked expressions as they saw the scene of the youth under 20 years walking up to the dead body and extract his rod.

'rciless' thought Sean, and he was correct to think so.

"Listen up n, you will call sir from now on and only follow my orders. Do you understand?"

"I SAID DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!"

"YES SIR"

It was a subconscious response from those who were trained in the ard forces. rlin knew that all the police officers in the USA by the end of the 21st century were given 2 weeks of compulsory military training to ingrain the chain of command into their subconscious minds. With the year being 2079, these officers would have had so sort of training. With the stress and fright they had just encountered, their subconscious minds were allowed to take over their bodies for a mont.

"Good, not pick up the two outside, and the one in the room next to us. But first, what vehicles do you have?"

"5 cruisers and 2 vans, sir" replied Sean

"We have about 2 minute left before a large number of zombies cos. I need two of you to take the car keys and place all the unconscious people into one of the vans. One of you will drive the van while the other will drive one of the cruisers. Sean, you take one of the others and do this. The rest of you co with and show the arsenal. Its ti I got so guns!"
