As rlin reached the end of the dungeon, a wall with strange carvings were present on them. Although he couldn't decipher them, rlin knew what it said. He had already read this sa phrase again and again, and Had only deciphered it once, in this very dungeon after getting the [Magic runes].
He quickly went to the chest located under the runes and opened it.
A blinding light shone from the box, before subsiding and revealing a large tal door, similar to the one he had seen at the entrance.
Not wasting any ti, rlin dashed out of the dungeon, as it began to collapse behind him.
Ignoring the rumbling sounds from the dungeon, rlin quickly balanced himself, located the Colossus, and began to run towards it. Noticing that it was already about to turn dark, rlin injected so of his newly replenished mana into his body to boost his speed, ignoring any zombies in his way, simply running through them.
Body parts and green blood were flying everywhere as rlin ran with all his might. His estimate put the Colossus at 12 minutes away at the current speed.
With this in mind, he directed so of his attention towards the Arcania system's notifications after the battle.
Since he had beco a Tier 1, the system behaved differently with him. It would now give notifications for every kill, along with improvents in his level.

Seeing the notifications, rlin was overjoyed for a brief mont. The evolution and stat points he got were normal since he had the [Multiplier] skill. However, the levelling up of his skills was an amazing achievent.
Many players back in the future were not able to even complete a single level of their skills. This was not only because skills themselves were rare, but also because the requirents to level up a skill is never constant. It is completely random.
So skills level up from simple usage, and that is usually the case for passive skills. However, most of the other skills had very 'unique' requirents to level up.
For example, the active skill [Inspection] is a skill with no side effect other than the usage of mana. rlin had been using this skill on everything he could since a long ti in order to level it up. Why? Because this skill would be incredibly useful in battle once it reached level 2. It would be able to point out weaknesses in the enemy, and at level 3, it should be able to give suggestions for suitable attacks. It would evolve into an auto-attack function once it reached level 4. Level 4 was also the highest level that rlin was able to grind his skills to.
However, it had yet to level up, and so rlin had given up on it. In order to level up skills, one could only depend on luck, and luck was sothing rlin never had. He always had the worst luck possible. If Luck was actually a stat in the system, his would have been -Infinity since the day he was born.
Shaking his head to get rid of such nonsensical thoughts, rlin opened the system to look at his stats, as he unhesitatingly threw all his stat points into Mana.
