“Cough, cough”

Dong Chen was sprawling on the ground, suddenly coughing up two mouthfuls of fresh blood.

This ghost had lashed out ruthlessly, kicking him square in the abdon, and now he was completely incapacitated.

“Boss, how are you, boss?” A group of mbers from the Karate Society rushed over to ask.

“It’s nothing, it’s just that we’ve lost today’s match.

I thought that if I led the charge, we could keep on winning, but I didn’t expect I’d be the first to lose,” Dong Chen said as he adjusted the chaotic breath inside him.

“Don’t think about avenging ; you can’t beat this guy.”

“But we can’t just accept defeat like this!

We can lose, but we can’t cower,” a student said fiercely.

“We’ll go down fighting if we must, damn it, I refuse to believe a ghost can turn the tide on our own turf!”

“Sigh, help

up,” Dong Chen sighed.

After being helped to his feet, he bowed to the ghosts, “We admit defeat, as we are not as skilled.”

“What?

Giving up just like that?”

“Tch, looks like Dong Chen’s karate is pretty diocre, wasn’t it?

Maybe his certificates are all bought too.”

“I think so too, he didn’t even last ten minutes, definitely all show.”

Hearing the murmurs and speculations from the audience, Dong Chen could only respond with a bitter smile.

In order to prevent his society mbers from getting hurt, what else could he do but take the bla?

“Enough!

You’re so great, you go fight then,” the hulking man from the Taekwondo Society shouted out.

“A bunch of people who talk big but can’t act, keep shouting and see if I don’t kill you.”

Only a true expert can see the trickery in his moves, re ignorants can only make snide remarks.

Originally, this was a fight between Japan and Huaxia.

You hangers-on didn’t know to offer comfort, but kept on blabbing, truly damn annoying.

“We’ve won this match, but I’m not satisfied.

I cannot believe that in the vast Huaxia, there is not one person who can challenge .

Who else is there, who else can satisfy ?” the ghost shouted from the stage.

“I’ll satisfy you, and it’ll be worse than what Dong Chen got, or my na isn’t Wang,” the hulking man roared as he slapped his chest nacingly.

But before he could step up, he was stopped by Song Yun.

With a fierce look, Song Yun shook his head and said, “Going up in your current state is just disgraceful.

Your heart is too restless.

Once the ghost provokes you, you’ll lose your cool, so you can’t go.”

“What then?

Let these sissy bastards go up?” the hulking man looked discontentedly around and shouted, those being glared at lowered their heads—one ca just to watch the show, what did who got beat have anything to do with them.

“Calm yourself down.

I’ll take on this ghost,” Song Yun said, finishing his drink in one gulp.

“Wow, Song Yun is taking action?

He must not lose,” Li Yueyue said encouragingly.

“Go Brother Song, I believe they are no match for you,” Liu Ran also stated confidently.

The hulking man took in a sharp breath.

Could this man be a master of martial arts?

But he didn’t look it.

Suddenly, he rembered the incident with the strength ter earlier, and almost instantly, he realized this man must be formidable; otherwise, he wouldn’t have shown such strength.

“I’ll face you,” Song Yun climbed onto the stage.

“Just you?

Is there nobody capable in your school?” the opponent sneered, looking down at Song Yun.

“You better step down, you’re too skinny; you’re no challenge.”

“Sorry, but I’m not here to get hit; I’m here to do the hitting.

You look quite plump, hitting you must feel satisfying,” Song Yun said as he limbered up.

“Enough talk, let’s finish this battle.”

“Songtao Hall Disciple, Xiao Quan,” the opponent introduced himself.

“Unaffiliated, Song Yun,” Song Yun bowed too, though he desperately wanted to kick his opponent flying, proper etiquette was still required.

After the bow, Xiao Quan suddenly leapt up.

His legs crossed like scissors, powerful as if to cut the air.

After a bit, the frequency increased, and his legs seed like a folded knife ready to spring out.

The few ghosts behind him exclaid in surprise in Japanese, which Song Yun couldn’t understand, but from their expressions, it was clear Xiao Quan was using so powerful move.

“This is the Butterfly Step, a move I created over the years.

To lose to it today is your honor,” Xiao Quan said with a slight smile.

Suddenly, he did a crossover step and with a thud, launched a sweeping kick at Song Yun’s waist.

Song Yun was still standing in place when the crowd thought he would be hit.

But in an instant, Song Yun had disappeared, only to reappear behind Xiao Quan.

With a 180-degree spin, he unleashed a flying side kick, thudding into Xiao Quan’s back.

Xiao Quan hadn’t even processed what happened.

One second he thought he’d kick his opponent flying, and the next, Song Yun had vanished.

Before he knew it, he was sent flying.

Xiao Quan sailed two ters out and slid further before slamming hard against the wall, crumpling like a cooked shrimp.

The crowd below the stage gasped in amazent, watching Song Yun.

The man who looked harmless had actually sent Xiao Quan flying.

That was damn frightening.

“Holy crap, this dude is aweso!”

“Exactly, this man is a legend.

Does anyone have his contact?

I’m willing to pay.”

“This guy’s close combat skills are insane.

Just sick.”

“Being too arrogant isn’t good, you know.

Your so-called karate is just a derivation from our Huaxia Martial Arts.

Tell , what does your Japan have that is original?

Kimonos imitate ours, your architecture mimics ours, your culture, and even your martial arts!”

“So what?

You’re fantastic, so you co looking for trouble with us, huh?

Kid, don’t forget all you’ve learned is just leftovers.

The real essence of it, we are not so foolish as to teach you,” Mr.

Yamamoto, utterly furious, retorted.

They were part of the faction that opposed Huaxia, believing all their culture was self-created, not brought back by the Envoys of Tang.

Hearing Song Yun’s taunt today, they couldn’t sit still.
