346: Chapter 335: A Punch That Makes Your Peach Blossoms Bloom

“I’m fine, let’s keep going,” Qingluan gritted her teeth and said.

Surprisingly, as the two continued on their way, they didn’t encounter any terrifying things.

Normally, people would have let their guard down by now; anything popping up could scare the living daylights out of anyone.

Song Yun’s heart was constantly on edge—the damn feeling of being suddenly frightened was the absolute worst.

Thus, without realizing it, Song Yun led them into another forbidden zone of the haunted house—tension!

A person highly strung from tension would naturally jump at the sudden appearance of sothing scary.

Only, in such circumstances, the body would automatically react in defense, like delivering a solid punch to a staff mber.

“Damn it, why hasn’t anyone shown up yet?” Song Yun muttered under his breath, frowning.

“What did you say?” Qingluan asked worriedly as she clutched Song Yun’s sleeve because she noticed how he was looking all around and mumbling to himself now and then, which instantly made the atmosphere very eerie.

“Nothing much, just that don’t you find our path a bit odd?

This is a haunted house, after all; how can there be no ghosts?” Song Yun said, turning around.

As soon as he finished speaking, Song Yun felt the grip on his arm tighten suddenly—the small hands were clutching for dear life, and Qingluan’s delicate body was pressed against his, even shivering slightly!

Could it be that Qingluan had seen sothing?

Driven by instinct, Song Yun turned his head, and a ghastly, bloodied ghost mask appeared quietly not far away.

He twisted his head to look at Qingluan strangely and said, “What’s there to be afraid of?”

Qingluan slightly lifted her head and glanced toward the mask from over Song Yun’s shoulder, then promptly buried her face in his embrace.

“Haha, you got scared just because of a mask,” Song Yun burst into laughter.

While patting Qingluan’s hair to comfort her, he turned his head, intending to continue forward.

Who would have thought that just as he turned his head, he saw a person with a ghastly pale face who had appeared behind him at so unknown ti, staring with bulging eyes, and two startling streaks of blood under the eyes stood out shockingly in the darkness.

When the ghost saw Song Yun turn his head, it opened its wide mouth and stuck out its tongue—a tongue over twenty centiters long, dangling from deep within and continuously dripping saliva onto the ground.

A high-pitched and sonorous scream, accompanied by a sharp and lodious screech, echoed throughout the haunted house.

People outside, hearing this noise, couldn’t help but stop in their tracks.

Damn, just how terrifying must it be inside to scare soone into such a state?

And the boys planning to take advantage of their girlfriends by going in hesitated.

One wouldn’t want to miss out on taking advantage only to end up with a heart condition.

Song Yun patted his chest and watched the ghost retreat, “I scread because I got scared, why the hell did you scream?”

“I, I was scared by you!

I thought sothing was wrong,” Qingluan lifted her head and said with a hint of grievance.

“Besides, you’re a grown man and you said you weren’t scared.

How co you scread louder than

just now?”

“I did it just to scare you,” Song Yun was montarily stunned, then laughed awkwardly.

“Keep making excuses,” Qingluan rolled her beautiful eyes lightly.

This guy really knows how to lie without even blushing.

But this haunted house is indeed frightening, even scaring Song Yun half to death.

Looks like she would have a reason to tease him in the future.

You think Song Yun would use this to tease her in return?

Please, she’s a girl; it’s natural to be scared of such things.

So what if she scread?

“Shall we continue?” Song Yun asked for Qingluan’s opinion.

To tell the truth, he didn’t want to continue going forward anymore.

Damn, he hadn’t expected this haunted house to be so professional.

That scare just now really got to him; now he could only hope that Qingluan would suggest turning back.

“Of course we’ll continue.

I’ve just realized this haunted house is actually quite interesting,” Qingluan covered her mouth and giggled.

“You’re not scared, are you?

If you’re scared, we can go back.”

“Let’s keep going then,” Song Yun said through gritted teeth.

Damn it, it was just one scare.

Now he would be more alert.

There was no way he would get scared a second ti.

And so, with his arm over Qingluan’s shoulder, Song Yun slowly moved forward in the darkness.

Qingluan, on the other hand, was quite excited about what might appear next.

She just hoped that sothing would pop up and give Song Yun a good fright soon; seeing him scream was such fun.

Song Yun’s palms were nearly sweating.

You see, a bunch of ghosts placed in front of him wouldn’t rit a blink of his eye, but combined with the environnt, they beca so powerful.

But the more fearful and anxious he was, the more lifelike the ghostly wails from the sound system seed.

It felt as though a ghost was incessantly whispering in his ear.

Damn, even a brave person like him was reduced to this sorry state; others who ca in would probably be scared to death.

What Song Yun didn’t know was that everyone who entered got a flashlight, which provided at least a little light and wasn’t as scary.

Song Yun and Qingluan were too rushed when they entered and didn’t wait for the staff to ask if they needed flashlights before making their way in.

“Song Yun,” said Qingluan discontentedly.

“Can you show a bit more manliness?

What’s with the constant growling in your throat, and your palms are sweating—I can feel it on my shoulder.”

“Heh heh, sorry about that,” Song Yun said to Qingluan with a smile.

As the pair turned around, they suddenly saw a ghost descend rapidly from the ceiling right in front of them.

The mask and costu of the ghost were incredibly realistic, covered in fresh blood.

You could even sll a hint of blood if you were close enough.

Both originally in a relaxed state, they tensed up in an instant.

Song Yun was just nervously tense and not beyond control.

On the other hand, Qingluan totally lost it, let out a scream, and punched at the ghost’s face.

Five minutes later, Song Yun and Qingluan sat with their heads bowed in the guest room of the haunted house staff.

Opposite them sat a man with a swollen right cheek and missing a tooth.

“Hey, co on you two!

It’s just a haunted house.

There’s no need to hit so hard when you get scared,” the man complained, holding an ice pack to his swollen cheek.

“I never would’ve thought such a little girl could pack such a punch.”

“I’m so sorry, I was just startled and reacted without thinking,” Qingluan said with a wry smile, her face flushed with embarrassnt, almost unable to lift her head out of sheer mortification.

In an overexcited reflex, she had injured the dressed-up staff mber quite badly.
