Chapter 1672: Chapter 1566: Mass Hallucination?
"Tch, would you really fire ? I’m a golden goose!" Chen ngjie said proudly, but as soon as she spoke, she realized sothing was off.
"Haha, the underlying aning of that is you’re a hen, right?" Song Yun asked with a mischievous grin.
"You bastard!" Chen ngjie pouted and ignored Song Yun. He chuckled but didn’t continue to tease her. Instead, he made a call to Feng Gang, inviting him out for afternoon tea.
Feng Gang readily agreed on the other end of the line.
"Want to co along?" Song Yun asked Chen ngjie. She hesitated for a mont, but before she could speak, her phone rang.
Chen ngjie glanced at her phone, frowned, and picked it up.
Whatever was said on the other end made Chen ngjie’s expression worsen. She finally cursed "Bastard," and hung up.
Song Yun noticed her troubled expression and quietly asked, "What’s wrong?"
"Soone from the Dongxing Sect called again, threatening
to make a movie for them. If I refuse, they’ll resort to so underhanded tactics!" Chen ngjie said angrily, "In this day and age, they’re still pulling this kind of stunt, hmm!"
"Dongxing Sect, haha." Song Yun laughed slightly and said, "It’s fine, just stick with . I can ensure your safety, no problem."
"Mm!" Chen ngjie nodded, "I trust you, Song Yun."
"Let’s go," Song Yun said. "Let’s et Feng Gang together and try to finalize the movie deal."
Chen ngjie nodded in agreent, while Shen Yan was dragged by Song Yun to run so errands. Song Yun planned to establish a film company here in Hong Kong. Although Chen ngjie’s entertainnt company also had a film branch on the mainland, the film industry there wasn’t as quick-paced as in Hong Kong. Moreover, it’s easier to enter the Europe and Arica markets from here.
Song Yun and Chen ngjie didn’t have a car, so they decided to hail a taxi. Maybe due to having too many drinks earlier, Song Yun, after waiting for a bit without any taxis in sight, said to Chen ngjie, "I’m going to the public restroom over there, you wait for
for a mont!"
Chen ngjie nodded and said, "It’s impolite to say ’pee’ to a lady, you should say ’relieve yourself’ instead."
Song Yun chuckled, "I’m not one for refinent."
With that, Song Yun headed towards a public restroom nearby while Chen ngjie stood by the roadside, wearing large sunglasses and playing on her phone.
At this mont, a white van suddenly sped out from the side.
The van moved at high speed, and when it reached Chen ngjie, it abruptly braked.
Screech.
A chilling screeching sound erged. Chen ngjie looked up, her face still registering surprise, when the van’s door quickly flew open, and several burly n rushed out.
"Ah!"
Chen ngjie scread; those n reached out to grab her.
Just then.
A man, no one knew how, suddenly appeared next to Chen ngjie.
"You must have a death wish."
The man approached the thugs with a grin, grabbed one of them by the hand with a single motion and, with a twist and a pull, sent the thug flying backward. Then, Bald stepped forward, with one hand in an eagle’s claw position, aiming for another man’s throat.
"This one’s tough, retreat!"
Seeing one of their own pushed back several ters and another almost choking, the remaining thugs quickly jumped back into the van, which then started up and sped off.
At that mont.
Another figure suddenly appeared beside the van.
This figure was extrely thin, and the driver recognized him as the man standing beside the target earlier.
Song Yun!
The van sped away, but Song Yun wasn’t slow, running almost side by side with it.
After about a hundred ters, Song Yun suddenly veered towards the van and, with a leap, jumped up.
Then, the onlookers witnessed a scene they’d never seen in their lives.
Song Yun leapt over two ters high, higher than the van itself. Thus, he landed directly on the van’s roof, and then he forcefully pressed down.
Bang.
Song Yun’s weight bent the van’s roof inward.
It would have been fine if it was just dented, but Song Yun’s strength was so imnse that even the van’s wheels couldn’t bear it.
Bang.
The sound of a tire blowout.
The entire van seed nailed to the ground, screeching to a halt!
"Damn, Superman!"
Soone exclaid in shock seeing this.
Song Yun didn’t pay attention. This was Hong Kong, not the mainland, so there was no need to hold back. Even if he behaved a bit inhumanly, people could later claim they collectively hallucinated.
After the van was nailed down, its doors were quickly flung open, and several thugs jumped out to scatter and run.
As for resisting, they hadn’t even thought about it. Wasn’t it a joke? Soone who could nail an entire vehicle to the road couldn’t be stopped by ordinary people.
Song Yun put his fingers in his mouth and let out a sharp whistle.
A piercing sound echoed, freezing the fleeing thugs. At that mont, several figures suddenly erged from the crowd.
Bang bang bang.
Several muffled thuds were heard, and the thugs were quickly knocked down. A van sped over, and the downed thugs were swiftly loaded into it.
Whoosh.
The van didn’t linger and quickly left the scene.
Song Yun turned and walked away, disappearing from the onlookers’ view. If not for the van still emitting smoke, many would have thought it was an illusion.
Soon after, the police arrived, explaining that they were filming a movie or sothing, and told everyone not to worry. Then people realized, no wonder that person was as strong as Superman, it was for a movie, they must have used so tricks!
Leaving that matter aside, after finishing all this, Song Yun returned to Chen ngjie. She didn’t seem too frightened, looking more puzzled as she stared at the man before her and asked, "Who are you?"
"I’m Brother Song Yun’s subordinate, the na’s ng Ku," the man replied with a smile.
