Chapter 1113: Chapter 1099: Comncing the Operation

Song Yun’s words directly made Mr. Lang’s face look like he had eaten shit. Mr. Lang was arrogant, sure, and also the deputy leader, but he couldn’t beat Song Yun—that was a fact! Last ti at the National Security Bureau, Mr. Lang fought Song Yun more than once, but unfortunately, he always got thrashed. This made Mr. Lang extrely frustrated. Although he had made so progress through days of exercise and dication, he wasn’t 100% sure he could beat Song Yun. Moreover, Mr. Lang had other things to do later—clashing with Song Yun now clearly had no benefits.

After careful consideration, Mr. Lang decisively said, "Young people shouldn’t always resort to fighting. We live in a civilized society, so let’s be civilized."

Song Yun curled his lips and said, "Anyway, like I said earlier, I’ll find a boat and do my own thing. As for the hostages, we’ll see who’s lucky enough to encounter them. If I can’t take the docunts, I’ll destroy them on the spot."

"Hmph." Mr. Lang snorted and looked at Tang Lin, saying, "Tang Lin, what do you think?"

"Well... Mr. Lang, I’ll follow you!" Tang Lin said with a smile.

Song Yun wasn’t particularly upset with Tang Lin’s lack of loyalty because, in his mind, Tang Lin was on his side. Tang Lin’s presence at the National Security was clearly with a purpose. Currently, Tang Lin’s identity was rely a second team’s mber, so it wasn’t surprising for soone like that to listen to a vice leader of the first team.

"I’ll stick with Song Yun." Judge looked at Song Yun and said, "Later, we could take out everyone on a ship. What do you think?"

"We’ll see when the ti cos." Song Yun shivered, decisively shifting focus to Mr. Lang and said, "So it’s settled. Tang Lin will go with you, while Judge and I will check out the other ship. We won’t interfere with each other. If you need help, you can call us, and I’ll co to rescue you."

"Who rescues whom is yet to be determined." Mr. Lang said, then closed his eyes. Song Yun found a place to sit cross-legged and closed his eyes too.

Though it seed like none of them were taking the situation seriously, Song Yun knew that everyone was already on high alert. What they were about to face wasn’t just an ordinary ship!

True, those bastards were retired by the United States decades ago—their functions were outdated. But still, it was a fleet, equipped with heavy machine guns, even missiles!

Missiles, not your average missiles—though not as powerful as nuclear warheads, a direct hit or a close-range blast could very well be fatal.

This was a war where one could die without a trace or even be considered a martyr.

The entire cabin fell silent for a mont, the only sound being the faint hum of the engine nearby.

The nuclear submarine quickly coursed through the depths of the South Sea.

No one knew how much ti had passed.

The speed of the nuclear submarine gradually slowed down.

Song Yun and the others almost simultaneously opened their eyes.

Just then, Song Xuri appeared in the cabin.

"Everyone, we’re nearly there, about two nautical miles from the target. Their radar, though faulty, could detect us if we get any closer. So, we’ll depart from here. Two nautical miles shouldn’t be a problem for you, right?" Song Xuri asked.

"No problem." Song Yun stood up and said, "How do we leave? Will the submarine surface?"

"No, we have special launch pods here that will send you out. We’re currently 107 ters underwater, and though the pressure’s high, your pressure-resistant diving suits will be fine," Song Xuri explained.

"That’ll work." Song Yun nodded and said, "Let’s gear up and head out."

With that, Song Yun turned to the equipnt locker to gather his gear.

PQuickly, Song Yun and the others donned their diving suits. These were black, tight-fitting, and each person had an oxygen apparatus strapped to their waist.

Song Yun grabbed a small bag, put his personal Seven Kill inside, along with so miscellaneous items like explosives. There were plenty of high-tech gadgets here, so carrying so extras wasn’t a bad idea. If they ended up unused, he’d bring them back to the country. These high-tech gadgets were usually hard to acquire for Song Yun.

You have to admit, Song Yun had this petty mindset, like he couldn’t rest without gaining sothing.

The others picked their equipnt too. Tang Lin, wearing a tight diving suit, looked slender, opting for a powerful crossbow slung across his back. This crossbow was compact compared to ordinary ones, but Song Xuri ntioned its power was much greater—capable of penetrating a three-centiter steel plate from ten ters.

Mr. Lang was secretive while choosing his gear, so Song Yun didn’t see what he picked. As for Judge, he wore a diving suit and oxygen apparatus, bringing nothing else.

"Is everyone ready?" Song Xuri asked.

"Yes, ready!" Song Yun nodded, and the others did the sa.

"Then follow ."

Song Xuri said, leading the way, with Song Yun and the others following behind.

After a long walk in the submarine, they finally reached a spacious chamber with several tube-like structures lined up, about a ter in diater, cylindrical, and hollow.

"Lie straight on these with your head out," Song Xuri pointed at the hollow cylindrical tubes.

"This... is like a missile or torpedo launcher?" Song Yun asked, looking at the tubes.

"It’s the sa principle, but it’s for launching people," Song Xuri explained with a smile.

There were four hollow cylindrical tubes, just enough for the four of them, and after lying down, Song Xuri pressed a button nearby. A lid-like object covered the tube, and Song Yun realized he couldn’t see anything.

At this mont, a strong thrust suddenly ca from beneath him.

Song Yun was propelled outward by the force.

Whoosh.

Amidst a cacophony of noise, Song Yun felt his body suddenly compressed by sothing, then the pressure vanished, and the temperature around him dropped significantly.

Feeling the buoyant sensation, Song Yun knew he was in the sea, with the nuclear submarine calmly floating about five ters away.

The underwater world was nearly pitch-black; Song Yun turned on a flashlight he had brought, faintly illuminating the surroundings. Then he kicked forcefully, darting toward the surface.

A few seconds later, Song Yun erged from the water, and within monts, Tang Lin, Mr. Lang, and Judge surfaced as well.

Song Yun retrieved a watch-like device from his bag, strapped it onto his wrist, and pressed a button. With a beep, the watch lit up then dimd, pointing eastward.

This simple navigation device would guide them towards the target, preventing them from getting lost at sea.

"Let’s go." Song Yun glanced at the others, saying, "Let’s see who gets to the ship first!"

"Let’s go!" Judge shouted and dived, gliding eastward like a fish.

Song Yun glanced at Mr. Lang and Tang Lin without speaking, then paddled eastward.

"Tang Lin, you and Song Yun seem to have a good relationship?" Mr. Lang refrained from rushing east, instead speaking to Tang Lin.

"We had so camaraderie back in the day, which continues till now," Tang Lin responded with a smile.

"Rember, you’re a second team mber," Mr. Lang said, giving Tang Lin a cold glare before heading east. Tang Lin shrugged nonchalantly, moving his arms and swimming along.

In the moonlight, the four of them swam east one after the other. Two nautical miles away, several boats, including two warships, calmly floated on the water’s surface, alongside a few regular ships.
