Chapter 80: Chapter 80: Pitifully Unloved

Liu Feng couldn’t believe it. He took Wu Tian’s plan and looked at it, his eyes widening in disbelief. "How could you possibly have done this?"

This plan is exactly the sa as the one his brother-in-law from the board of directors spent days devising? But Wu Tian only took a mont, while his brother-in-law took several days?

Wu Tian sighed and suddenly said, as if realizing sothing, "Actually, it doesn’t need to be so troubleso. This plan is too complicated and cumberso. But if all your subordinates are fools, then this is the only foolish thod that can save the factory."

As he spoke, Wu Tian revealed another plan of his own. This one was based on the premise that everyone in the factory was hardworking. In that case, the factory could turn a profit within a month.

Liu Feng had so skills of his own, as did Nangong Yi. They listened to Wu Tian’s new plan in surprise, realizing it was feasible.

Lin Fa was also shocked. Why wasn’t any of what Wu Tian was saying in his book? The first plan seed familiar, but the second one was far more clever. Lin Fa couldn’t imagine how Wu Tian had co up with it.

Bing Hong noticed Lin Fa’s expression and spotted the book on Wu Tian’s desk. Recognizing it as Lin Fa’s, she walked over to him and whispered, "That’s a good book you have. It seems it has both plans he ntioned, and he just happened to see them, right?"

Lin Fa chuckled. Having read the book, he could have also co up with the first plan given a few days. But Wu Tian’s second plan was much smarter—it wasn’t in the book at all. Unless the boss can deduce things by analogy... Thinking of this, Lin Fa’s gaze toward Wu Tian beca even more admiring. As for Bing Hong’s words, he couldn’t be bothered to respond.

In the past, Lin Fa had often tried to contact Bing Hong, whether at the company or through QQ and WeChat, but she hardly ever replied. Now, Lin Fa felt that ignoring her wasn’t unreasonable; he was just giving her a taste of her own dicine.

Seeing Lin Fa ignore her, Bing Hong grew angry and muttered through clenched teeth, "You’ve gotten pretty arrogant lately, haven’t you?" After saying her piece, she returned to Nangong Yi’s side.

Lin Fa remained silent. Am I arrogant? I’m just returning the favor.

"Liu Feng," Wu Tian’s calm voice rang out, "since I’ve co up with the plan, shouldn’t you honor our bet and roll out of here?"

Liu Feng’s face turned red. Roll out of here in front of everyone? Wouldn’t that be a total disgrace? Thinking this, he laughed cheerfully. "We’re all colleagues here. That was just a joke. Why take it so seriously?"

"No, I’m taking it seriously." Wu Tian had no intention of wasting words on Liu Feng. Seeing that he wasn’t moving, Wu Tian simply kicked him.

With a yelp, the rotund Liu Feng went tumbling away.

Everyone stared in amazent, shocked that Wu Tian had actually dared to do it. Nangong Yi rely snorted in disdain.

Wu Tian had no interest in looking at Nangong Yi, but he knew what the man was thinking. You just read a book and happened to find those two plans. When it cos to real business ability, you’re a far cry from . Wu Tian wasn’t concerned with Nangong Yi’s thoughts.

Finally, it was the end of the workday. Many people headed straight for the bookstores to buy business books. Even those with the worst performance records were now filled with hopeful dreams.

When Wu Tian left the office, Lin Fa was still reading. He had said he would read that book ten tis. Wu Tian could tell at a glance that Lin Fa’s thod was wrong. Rote morization without the ability to adapt? How could that possibly work? Wu Tian shook his head. He would help Lin Fa another day; right now, he needed to go ho to see his baby.

In the elevator, Wu Tian ran into Liang Qingren. She was also intently reading a business book, making notes in it with a pen. Wu Tian hadn’t expected her to be so hardworking and determined. In his opinion, Liang Qingren’s thod was sound. At this rate, she had a high chance of becoming a powerful businesswoman.

Still, Wu Tian approached her and reminded her, "Rember to balance work and rest."

His voice snapped Liang Qingren out of her focus. Looking up and seeing it was Wu Tian, she smiled. Faced with his calm gaze, she felt a little shy. "Yes, I know. Thank you for your concern."

Ever since her grandmother told her to actively pursue Wu Tian, she felt embarrassed whenever she looked at him. Liang Qingren wanted to get closer to Wu Tian but was afraid of being too abrupt.

Wu Tian parted ways with Liang Qingren at the corporation’s entrance and went to pick up his little one. Lin Mo was there, waving reluctantly at the child.

"Gugu, see you tomorrow."

"Sister Mo, are you going to miss ?" the little one asked.

"Yes," Lin Mo said. "I wish I had a daughter like you too."

"Then you should marry my daddy!"

"No, no." Lin Mo beat a hasty retreat.

"Bye-bye, Sister Mo! I’ll miss you!" Getting into the taxi with Wu Tian, the little one waved enthusiastically at Lin Mo.

"Gugu, be good at ho, okay?"

"Okay."

The taxi started. Inside the car, the little one began telling Wu Tian about what had happened at kindergarten that day. From her story, Wu Tian learned that Wang Tiancai was finally behaving himself. Wang Corporation’s performance was plumting like a rocket, and Wang Wei had finally learned the importance of public opinion.

After finishing her kindergarten stories, the little one said to Wu Tian, "Daddy, I really like Sister Mo. Do you like her?"

"What kind of ’like’ are you talking about?" Wu Tian chuckled.

This little one is trying to trick ? Not a chance.

"Humph." Seeing that Wu Tian hadn’t fallen for it, the little one just snorted and turned her head away.

The driver couldn’t help but laugh. "Your daughter is really adorable."

"Thank you," Wu Tian replied.

"A pity no one loves ," the little one muttered, stamping her foot.

After returning ho, the little one continued to sing. When Qin Yuhan ca back, she was carrying several business books. As soon as she walked in the door, she said coldly, "These kinds of books are bestsellers now, and the prices have all gone up. So used to be ten yuan, but now they’ve increased fivefold. The cheapest one is fifty yuan, and the good ones are a thousand."

Wu Tian laughed. "Isn’t that because you all created the demand? If you didn’t need them, how could the price of these books go up?"

Qin Yuhan just humphed and ignored him. Her expression was identical to the little one’s. Anyone would believe they were mother and daughter.

That night, Wu Tian slept with the little one. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays were Qin Yuhan’s. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays were Wu Tian’s.

Wu Tian poured warm water into a small basin and had the little one soak her feet. The child soaked her feet so comfortably that she fell right asleep.

After freshening up himself, Wu Tian saw that it was nearly nine o’clock, so he turned off the lights and went to sleep.

Suddenly, a shadowy figure crept quietly toward Wu Tian’s room.
