Chapter 60: Chapter 60: If I Must Be Nothing, Heaven Cannot Exist

The Stone-Cutting Master finally began cutting the two stones, for which Nalan Jie naturally paid the fees. The cost ca to at least 9,000,000, as the quality of these two stones was truly exceptional. It was incredibly rare to find Raw Stones of such high grade.

Zhen Lao was very confident about these two Raw Stones. He couldn’t resist shooting a provocative glance at Wu Tian, his eyes full of pride. "Junior, you’ll soon understand that a master of the Gambling Stone Circle is not just an empty title."

Wu Tian could sense every movent and whisper around him, so he naturally noticed Zhen Lao’s gaze. He simply smiled.

He knew the two stones Zhen Lao had pinned his hopes on were indeed extraordinary. They contained a great deal of Spiritual Energy, which accounted for forty to fifty percent of their mass. If they were cut open and sold, they would fetch at least 90,000,000, a tenfold increase in their value. Zhen Lao truly lived up to his reputation as a master in the Gambling Stone Circle.

Wu Tian, however, remained completely calm.

If heaven decrees sothing must exist, I will command it to be nothing, and it shall cease to be. Even if these two Raw Stones are good, I can turn them into worthless rock.

Anything that stands against ,

be it grass or wood,

will lose all its vitality,

never to regain its original form.

At this thought, Wu Tian’s eyes turned cold as he secretly began his Cultivation. Like streams flowing into the ocean, the Spiritual Energy from the two Raw Stones surged into his body. Instantly, Wu Tian felt refreshed and clear-headed.

As the two Raw Stones were drained of their Spiritual Energy, the green within them receded and gradually vanished, a process hidden from everyone’s view. The Buddhist Sect has a saying: plants, trees, bamboo, and stones all possess life. Now, it was not just people; even stones that stood against Wu Tian would lose their "life."

Zhen Lao remained oblivious, still confident that these two Raw Stones would make him even wealthier. He watched them being cut, his eyes filled with anticipation, staring unblinkingly as their interiors were revealed.

However, when the stones—which everyone had considered incredibly promising—were cut open, they showed no trace of green. Upon seeing this, Zhen Lao’s expression turned ugly, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"Impossible! Impossible! My estimates indicated we should have seen green by now. How can they be halfway cut without a single trace of it?"

Nalan Jie had already descended from the high platform and joined Zhen Lao. "The first stone only revealed Jadeite at the last mont. Perhaps these two are similar."

"No, no, no," Zhen Lao said, shaking his head. "These two stones are of such high quality they would have cost 9,000,000 to buy. Even if we found the sa amount of green as before, it would still be a massive loss."

Nalan Jie’s expression turned grave as he nodded in agreent.

Finally, the cutting was complete. The interiors of both Raw Stones were laid bare for all to see, and there wasn’t a hint of green. They were just two ordinary rocks.

"No!"

Seeing the result, Zhen Lao’s eyes flew open, filled with a disappointnt so intense it shattered his masterly poise. He let out a furious roar. His reputation in the Gambling Stone Circle was imnse, and so many people had been watching him. But today? His hard-earned fa was lost in a single day.

I can’t believe this, I was sixty percent certain their contents would be good and one hundred percent certain they contained green. But now? Not even a hint of it? How could this be?

Nalan Jie’s eyes were also filled with shock. Why did I even dare to open a Gambling Stone Field? Xiao Liang helped

get the license, but I only had the courage to open it because I had Zhen Lao. I never expected things to turn out like this.

"Is he really a master of the Gambling Stone Circle?"

"His skill is just terrible, isn’t it?"

"Right? He picked out two stones without a single hint of green!"

"That title as one of the top ten masters is completely undeserved."

"Just awful."

The crowd, old and young alike, erupted into discussion. Such is human nature: one mont they were praising Zhen Lao to the heavens, and the next they were showering him with scorn.

Xiao Liang, however, had a curious gleam in his eyes. He was a master of antiques, but he had also studied stone gambling. No matter how I look at it, those two Raw Stones should have contained at least so green, regardless of any other issues. So, where did things go wrong?

His gaze instantly shifted to Wu Tian, his eyes filled with the kind of awe one reserves for seeing a Ghost God. In the Martial Arts World, even an Innate Grandmaster couldn’t possibly do sothing like this, could they?

"It’s ti to cut my Raw Stone now," Wu Tian said.

"Yes," the Stone-Cutting Master nodded.

Everyone’s expression grew complicated. The first stone Wu Tian had submitted was tiny, only the size of a palm. There can’t possibly be anything inside sothing so small, can there? they all thought.

WHIRR...

The cutting machine started up, slicing into the small, overlooked stone.

"Heavens, look! There’s green!"

The blade had barely scraped the surface, slicing off a tiny bit of the stone’s rind, but it had already revealed green. Everyone was startled by the sight.

Could this whole little stone be green, with only the rind being worthless rock?

The Stone-Cutting Master had the sa thought. He quickly grabbed a bowl of water and poured it over the cut. He would not cut any further. He needed to wash it. As he used a special solution to wash away the stone’s rind, the green within beca even more distinct.

"This is..." Suddenly, the Stone-Cutting Master’s eyes widened in delight.

The others leaned in, their gazes fixed on the tip of the iceberg revealed by the small stone.

"Ice Type!"

"It really is Ice Type!"

"My god, his luck is incredible!"

A wave of astonishnt swept through the crowd. The so-called Ice Type was a top-tier variety of Jadeite. While not the absolute best, Ice Type Jadeite was still considered a supre grade. And this appeared to be a palm-sized piece of it.

Nalan Jie’s gaze filled with shock and disbelief; he never expected Wu Tian’s luck to be this good.

Zhen Lao, however, found it fairly normal. Wu Tian’s stone didn’t look like much, but a small surprise like this is within the realm of possibility. Compared to his own two high-grade Raw Stones that had yielded nothing, Wu Tian’s success wasn’t that shocking to him. It would be a lie, however, to say Zhen Lao didn’t feel a sting of bitterness.

Ultimately, as the Stone-Cutting work concluded, the stone’s true form was completely revealed, drawing gasps from the crowd. It was a piece of Ice Type Jadeite, so crystal clear that it was obviously a top-quality specin even among its kind, and clearly worth a fortune.

"This piece of Ice Type Jadeite is worth at least 60,000,000!" soone exclaid.

"You’re wrong! It has to be worth no less than 90,000,000!" a veteran of the jadeite industry countered.

Several other experts nodded in agreent, concurring that it was worth at least 90,000,000.

Nangong Yi and Lin Tianlong’s faces were a mixture of envy, jealousy, and bitterness. Their personal assets combined didn’t even amount to 90,000,000.

"Let’s cut the remaining two stones as well," Wu Tian said calmly.

The crowd looked at him, wondering. Was he just incredibly lucky, or does he possess genuine skill?
