The Guardians of Ghost Valley rarely left their domain, their only exception being the change of a dynasty. Their leader was a handso young man nad Zhang Lantian, Wu Wo's Attendant Student.

Zhang Lantian roared at Wu Tian, "You dare to go on a killing spree in the territory of Ghost Valley? We value benevolence, but you were the first to offend. According to the rules of Ghost Valley, we shall break all four of your limbs!"

Of course, he knew exactly what had happened. But Young Master Wu Wo wanted Wu Tian dead, so Zhang Lantian would naturally follow his command.

The onlookers hurriedly withdrew to a safe distance. They knew of the Jianghu sects and the Five Surnas and Seven Families, but Ghost Valley was undoubtedly above them, never beneath. In fact, Ghost Valley's status was considered equivalent to all the Jianghu sects and the Five Surnas and Seven Families combined. How could such an entity not inspire fear?

In their eyes, the young man was finished. It was just a sha about the child in his arms, who was simply adorable.

"Why don't you stop yapping?" Wu Tian said casually, glancing sideways at Zhang Lantian.

"What did you say?"

"We are disciples of Ghost Valley! What do you take us for?"

The Ghost Valley guards shouted in outrage. Zhang Lantian's face grew even darker with rage, feeling that the very na of Ghost Valley had been challenged.

"It seems that after so long out of the public eye, people think Ghost Valley has grown weak. Is that it?"

"Kill him! How dare he disgrace the na of Ghost Valley!"

The disciples seethed with indignation, as if they themselves had personally forged Ghost Valley's prestigious reputation. They seed to forget that this generation of Ghost Valley had accomplished nothing of note, remaining sequestered on Mount Yunng without ever descending.

"You have desecrated Ghost Valley. You must die!" Zhang Lantian declared coldly. A fine sword appeared in his hand, and as his Inner Strength surged, the aura of the Half-step Innate realm pressed down on Wu Tian.

In the eyes of the Ghost Valley disciples, any one of them who descended from the mountain was capable of stirring up storms across the world. No matter how formidable a secular person might be, they would ultimately lose to Ghost Valley. History had proven this point ti and again.

"Kill ? Many have tried. In the end, they were the ones who died," Wu Tian sneered. Saint Heirs, Sect Hierarchs of Great Sects, gods, demons, devil emperors... countless fearso beings had sought his life, and all had failed.

What was a re Ghost Valley in comparison?

As for the Sword Intent and aura emanating from Zhang Lantian, they were nothing to Wu Tian, affecting him not in the slightest.

"He actually dares to speak to Ghost Valley like that? Senior Brother, do you think he's done for?" the Mo Ye Sword Master asked, turning to her senior brother, the Gan Jiang Sword Master.

"He seems strangely skilled, but Ghost Valley's foundation is profound. This Zhang Lantian is rely the first trial. There are many more to co. He won't make it through," the Gan Jiang Sword Master stated with conviction.

Zhang Lantian had already lunged at Wu Tian, his blade shimring with an overpowering Spiritual Light.

"Is... is that Sword Radiance? Heavens, the technique for Sword Radiance was lost to the Martial Arts World long ago! I can't believe Ghost Valley knows how to cultivate it."

"This young man is dood." The onlookers were astounded by the sight.

Many swordsn could produce Sword Qi through their cultivation, but the thod for creating Sword Radiance had been lost. It was last seen during the Northern Song dynasty, wielded by the man known as the Sword God.

"That's right, this is Sword Radiance! Now, et your demise!"

Zhang Lantian basked in the crowd's gasps of awe. With a flick of his wrist and a push off his feet, he sent a slash of Sword Radiance hurtling toward Wu Tian. The Sword Radiance on his blade flickered with imnse sharpness. A single sweep created an arc five to seven ters long. In Zhang Lantian's mind, a strike like this could cleave a hillside in two, let alone a re man.

This is what they call Sword Radiance?

Wu Tian found the notion laughable. With the Seven-Star Dragon Abyss in hand, he executed a light thrust, as simple as a child playfully poking with a toy sword. Yet this one, simple thrust possessed an aura that could look down upon the entire world.

CLANG!

The two swords t. Under Wu Tian's seemingly simple strike, the brilliant Sword Radiance vanished without a trace.

"Impossible!" Zhang Lantian cried out.

But Wu Tian's sword had already plunged forward, piercing his neck.

Zhang Lantian's eyes went wide with shock. He died with a look of utter disbelief. He had only just made his appearance, and his part was already over.

"This... this person is terrifying."

"Right? I couldn't see how Ghost Valley's Sword Radiance disappeared at all. Even their chief guard was no match for him... Could he... could his surna be Wang? Is he from the Wang family of Taiyuan?"

The onlookers' eyes were filled with disbelief as they speculated on Wu Tian's identity. In their view, the only people who would dare cause trouble in Ghost Valley would be from the foremost of the Five Surnas and Seven Families: the Wang family of Taiyuan.

The disciples of Ghost Valley were also dumbstruck. This outco was the complete opposite of what they had expected. The one who died wasn't Wu Tian, but Zhang Lantian? They stood frozen for a long mont before finally snapping out of it, their faces contorting with rage.

"This demon is powerful! We have to attack together to take him down!"

"Right!"

The Ghost Valley guards charged toward Wu Tian in unison. Had they been guards from the Five Surnas and Seven Families, they likely would have been too frightened to move. Unfortunately for the Ghost Valley guards, their courage only made them die faster.

"Then I'll be happy to oblige," Wu Tian said with a cold smile. He swung the Seven-Star Dragon Abyss lightly once more, his mind perfectly recalling the Sword Radiance Zhang Lantian had produced just monts before.

And then, a brilliant and sharp Sword Radiance flared to life on the Seven-Star Dragon Abyss. In Wu Tian's hands, the Sword Radiance moved as smoothly as drifting clouds and flowing water, possessing a unique, lethal beauty. For him, the sword was an art form.

With a single sweep, the Ghost Valley guards fell, one after another.

"You demon, how dare you!"

"Stop this instant!"

A series of thunderous roars suddenly echoed through the air as several figures rushed toward the scene. They all wore different attire, but they shared one thing in common: the pure Killing Intent in their eyes as they glared at Wu Tian.

They were the very group Wu Wo had summoned.

Wu Wo had already inford them of Wu Tian's identity. They had been shocked and hesitant to act. But Wu Wo had told them that the Black and White Swords would also be arriving, which was the only reason they dared to act now.

"Look, that's the Hero of the Yellow River, Huang Haifeng."

"And that's Loulan's number one swordsman, Armstid."

"I even see the Lady Swordsman of Diancang."

"Look, that's Wei Tianquan! His Iron Fist is said to be unmatched in the Shandong region."

Many in the crowd recognized the newcors and cried out, their voices filled with awe.

"Why are so many famous people here at the sa ti?"

"It doesn't matter why they're all here. In any case, that young man is finished."

"Indeed. What a pity."

The crowd murmured amongst themselves as they watched Wu Tian. Their eyes held a mixture of sympathy, indifference, and admiration. But without exception, none of them believed he could possibly be a match for this group. After all, these were all famous figures of the Jianghu.
