"Boss Ren?" The mbers of the Yuzhou Cuju team all furrowed their brows, not understanding who Wang Renjie was referring to.

Wang Renjie didn't know if he should say it. He was nervous because Boss Ren wasn't going to help him anymore. In other words, he was just bluffing.

"You must have heard of Boss Ren," Chen iling said. "He's a celebrated actor, and his family mbers were all Flying Tiger Commandos."

The expressions on the Yuzhou Cuju team's faces changed at this revelation. They hadn't expected it to be *that* Boss Ren.

Boss Ren was an acclaid actor, but rumors claid he had connections in both legitimate circles and the underworld. He traveled everywhere for his films and had friends all over the world. What these soccer players admired most was one of his iconic roles: the progenitor of vampires, an incredibly domineering character.

"What should we do?" Player Number Nine asked, scared.

"Wait," Player Number Ten said.

They weren't just simple soccer players; they ca from wealthy families in Yuzhou. Their fathers were all chairn, presidents, or powerful bosses. They decided to wait.

Chen iling snorted. Since Boss Ren decided to help, this whole thing is a non-issue. She failed to notice, however, that Wang Renjie's legs were trembling slightly.

Wu Tian, on the other hand, was all eyes and ears. Even the little one noticed, giggling softly. "Dad, this is funny. He lied."

"That's right. That's why he's so on edge, afraid of being exposed. That would be very humiliating." As a father, Wu Tian never missed an opportunity to teach his child. "So, you have to rember, never tell a lie, understand?"

"Mhm, mhm, mhm," the little one nodded vigorously, like a chick pecking at rice.

A short while later, another group arrived. They were representatives from the Yuzhou sports community. All of them were famous athletes from Dragon Country's past who had strived for the people and the nation on the athletic field. They had dedicated their entire lives to athletics.

These days, sports were developing well in Dragon Country, but when it ca to Cuju, they were losing to almost the entire world. Cuju had originated in Dragon Country, but once it spread abroad and beca soccer, it flourished under the feet of foreigners.

The older generation had been working hard, but the performance of the national soccer team was always a disappointnt. They nearly laughed out loud when looking up "National Team's embarrassing plays" online and seeing the ridiculous clips. It had even reached a point where elentary schoolers were saying, "I could do better than them on the field."

Just now, a sports scout had discovered a promising young soccer talent, so these elders had rushed over.

"What do you think you're doing?"

"Why aren't you lot back on the field practicing instead of causing a commotion here?" The sports veterans looked at the Yuzhou soccer team mbers with clear displeasure. The families of these players had provided the "energy"—the funding—for the developnt of Cuju in Yuzhou, but that ant they were forced to recruit the families' children for the team.

The players were all dismissive. They were rich kids. Playing soccer? It was just a hobby. They didn't care if they won or lost.

"What business is it of yours?"

"That's right. If it weren't for our families, where would the Jiuzhou Center get the money to develop Cuju?"

The players' faces were masks of arrogance.

Many people at the airport were watching the scene unfold, and they were finally beginning to understand why Dragon Country's Cuju was so terrible. Putting skill aside, their sportsmanship was atrocious. How could a team like this ever win?

Player Number Ten looked at Chen iling and the others with a smirk. "Boss Ren may have friends everywhere, but these few people he called over don't seem very impressive."

Chen iling grew anxious.

Wang Renjie, however, was stunned. He hadn't expected anyone to actually show up; he had completely misunderstood. Boss Ren couldn't let go of our years of friendship after all. Even though he hung up on , he still sent people. I should forgive him. But then a fresh wave of anger hit him. He just sent these old geezers? They don't look like they can handle these players. What now?

At that mont, Wu Tian smiled calmly and said, "Let's wait a bit longer."

"Wait a bit longer? For what?" The players, the sports veterans, and Wang Renjie were all confused. The onlookers at the airport wondered if this young man was just being deliberately mysterious. The airport was at a standstill, but no one ca to clear the way, because the fathers of these players were all influential figures.

Wu Tian continued to smile. "Perhaps Cui Tian will co as well."

"What? Cui Tian?"

The mont Wu Tian's words fell, the scene plunged into a dead silence. Everyone's face froze in shock. It was safe to say that in the center of Jiuzhou, the land of Yuzhou, there wasn't a single person who hadn't heard of Cui Tian.

Cui Tian was the master of the Underworld, an overlord of his generation. Furthermore, since he was a mber of the Cui family of Qinghe, even the martial sects of the Jianghu gave him face.

"He... how could he co here?" Player Number Ten muttered, his confidence wavering.

Wang Renjie's mind raced, and he cheered inwardly. It must have been Boss Ren! He values our friendship so much that he even called in a major figure like Cui Tian, the master of the Underworld! I'm from Yuzhou, after all, so of course Cui Tian knows of . Boss Ren must have paid a heavy price to get him here. Wang Renjie was deeply moved.

Player Number Ten, however, remained skeptical.

"Bro, that's impossible. Cui Tian is as elusive as a divine dragon; even our fathers rarely see him. Why would he co here?"

"Yeah, our dads have to be completely respectful when they see Cui Tian. There's no way we'd ever et soone like him in our lifeti."

"We live in the sa city, but we're too low on the totem pole. We're not worthy of eting him," the other players chid in.

Player Number Ten didn't believe it either. Hearing his friends confirm his doubts, he regained his composure and laughed. "You almost fooled . How could Cui Tian possibly co here?"

"Is that so? To hear you tell it, I, Cui Tian, am not even allowed to co to the airport?"

The words had barely left Player Number Ten's mouth when a chilling voice drifted over. His voice was heard before he appeared.

The crowd at the airport parted, making way for a thin, middle-aged man walking with several tall, imposing n in black suits. The thin man himself was dressed casually in a t-shirt and shorts, but upon seeing him, the brash Player Number Ten's face turned deathly pale, as if he had seen a ghost.

"This skinny guy is supposed to be Cui Tian? I don't think so," Player Number Nine chuckled from the side. Did soone hire an impostor? The infamous Cui Tian, the terror of the Underworld, is this scrawny guy with hardly any muscle?

But just as that thought crossed his mind, Player Number Ten spun around and viciously kicked him where it hurts most.

With a piercing scream of "AHH!
