Chapter 107: Chapter 107: The Little Guy’s Strange Ability

Keeping track of everything happening around him was a piece of cake for Wu Tian.

He smiled when he heard Qin Yuhan’s assertive words. "One husband, one wife"—that was what Wu Tian longed for. To face the sea as spring blossoms ward the air was Wu Tian’s ideal.

Wu Tian looked at Xia Qian and said directly, "Thank you. If you have sothing to say, please keep it brief."

From his tone, it was obvious he was in a hurry. Xia Qian felt a pang of sadness. Is he acting this way because of Qin Yuhan?

Won in the upper echelons were generally more accepting of a man having multiple wives and concubines than ordinary people were. Xia Qian was determined to try. If I don’t even try, I know I’ll regret it later. But if I try my best, do everything I can, and still can’t have him... then that’s just fate.

"I ca to tell you that I’ve started a pharmaceutical company," Xia Qian said. "I’ve invested in advertising it on global channels, which has allowed

to procure the herbal dicines you need. However, as a pharmaceutical company, we must have our own products. If we do nothing, it will arouse suspicion and gossip, making it harder to get you more dicine in the future."

Hearing this, Wu Tian smiled. What Xia Qian said made perfect sense. After a mont’s thought, he suddenly asked, "How’s your mory?"

Xia Qian, whose face could bewitch the masses, was taken aback. She didn’t understand why he would suddenly ask such a thing, but she still replied proudly, "It’s exceptional. Among all the people I’ve ever t, no one’s has been better than mine."

Wu Tian nodded and began to list so common dicinal herbs without a single pause. He followed that with the exact proportions needed to decoct them.

Finally, he concluded, "The end result is a liquid. You can combine it with mask paper to create a kind of facial mask."

"A facial mask?" Xia Qian pondered this for a mont, and then her beautiful eyes lit up. She now understood what Wu Tian wanted her to do. Without a doubt, the herbal facial mask he described would exceed anyone’s expectations. In this day and age, won needed facial masks, and so did n. One could say that masks had beco as much of a daily necessity as chopsticks.

"Right. You can go now." Having said his piece, Wu Tian promptly showed her the door.

"How unromantic," Xia Qian muttered, rolling her eyes at Wu Tian.

She was unaware that even her disdainful glance was breathtakingly beautiful, causing every man in the airport to be filled with envy, jealousy, and hate.

"Honey, what are you looking at?"

"Xiao Ming, are you smitten with that Fairy?"

"You must be planning to betray !"

Many n were srized by Xia Qian, and their partners were not happy about it. The scene quickly devolved into a ss of loud curses, jealous accusations, and even physical altercations.

When Wu Tian returned to Qin Yuhan’s side, she didn’t say much. She didn’t even ask what Xia Qian had wanted, preferring to give him his own space.

Wu Tian’s boarding ti finally arrived. anwhile, Xia Qian left the airport and drove her Buick back to the pharmaceutical company. She rembered every single word Wu Tian had said, but she still needed to test the dicinal liquid to see what it was truly like. Yet, the re thought of her conversation with Wu Tian made her uncontrollably happy, and she would find herself smiling without realizing it. Each ti she snapped out of it, she could hardly believe the person smiling so foolishly had been her.

Upon arriving at the pharmaceutical company, she saw that many of the staff mbers she had recruited from overseas were already there. The mont she stepped inside, Xia Qian reassud the air of a CEO.

"Follow

to the laboratory," she said coolly.

As the company’s CEO, she had to take responsibility for every decision she made. She wanted to test the effects of the dicinal liquid for herself. But that wasn’t the only reason. I want to be the first to try anything that cos from him. This, perhaps, was what Xia Qian was truly thinking.

In the Dragon Country, Longjing, the Magic Capital, and Yang City were the nation’s primary tropolitan hubs, with living costs among the highest in the country. An old saying described them well: Longjing was known for its royal elegance, the traditional seat of emperors and ho to countless hidden realms. The Magic Capital, in contrast, was cosmopolitan, boasting the most modern and vibrant culture in all of the Dragon Country.

The Magic Capital had a long history. During the Xia and Shang dynasties, it was the Land of Baiyue. Throughout the Spring and Autumn period, it belonged to the Wu Country. During the subsequent Warring States period, it was held by the Wu, Yue, and Chu Countries in succession. It was even once the fief of Lord Chunshen of Chu, one of the Four Lords of the Warring States. That was the extent of Wu Tian’s knowledge about the Magic Capital.

As soon as they disembarked, Wu Tian, Qin Yuhan, and the little one headed for a hotel. However, the high-end hotels with private villas were already fully booked, and Qin Yuhan didn’t want to stay in a regular one. It wasn’t that she was being picky; she just wanted the absolute best for their daughter.

Wu Tian smiled and made a phone call. After hearing about their situation, Xiao Liang imdiately gave Wu Tian an address. Wu Tian put his phone away and led Qin Yuhan and the little one to the place Xiao Liang had ntioned.

There, a kind, elderly nanny greeted them. "The master told

a distinguished guest was coming and showed

your photograph. Hello, new master."

Qin Yuhan was shocked. This was the most expensive district in the Magic Capital, and she recognized the house from a television show. It had once belonged to Feng Jingyao, a major figure from the Magic Capital’s past. The current owner of such a house undoubtedly held an extraordinary status and position, yet they had just gifted it to Wu Tian? Qin Yuhan was filled with shock, her beautiful eyes clouded with uncertainty. She couldn’t help but wonder about the secrets her husband carried. When I finally learn what they are, will I even be able to handle it?

The little one loved the house. Upon entering, she started bouncing and jumping around, saying she wanted to video call Murong Yezi and Little Kirin so they could see it too. But Murong Yezi was busy, so the video call went unanswered.

The little one went to play on her own, but it wasn’t long before her large eyes were peering out a window, fixed on sothing in the distance.

Wu Tian furrowed his brow and walked over to her. "What is it?"

"There’s sothing over there," the little one said solemnly. "I can feel it."

Wu Tian was surprised. Is she for real? But he chose to believe her.

"We just got off the plane, so let’s rest for a bit first. Once you’re rested, I’ll go with you to find it," Wu Tian said.

"Pinky promise."

"Okay, pinky promise," Wu Tian laughed. He had noticed a peculiar talent in his daughter: she was extrely sensitive to valuable things. It seed her treasure-hunting abilities were quite remarkable!

The little one obediently went to rest. She woke up around noon and imdiately started yelling, "Hungry, hungry! I’m so hungry!"

The elderly nanny had already prepared lunch, a spread of the Magic Capital’s signature dishes. Of course, Wu Tian had offered a few tily tips while she was cooking, which made the food incredibly delicious. Among these dishes, the little one’s favorite was the drunken chicken. She grabbed a chicken leg in one hand and a hairy crab in the other, happily alternating bites between the chicken and the crab at until her mouth was slick with grease.

Seeing their daughter eat with such gusto made Wu Tian and Qin Yuhan happy. After the al, Wu Tian knew it was ti to take the little one out and see what it was she had sensed with her intuition.
