At noon, Valerie left the daycare building and continued walking towards her mother’s house. But once again, she was surprised by Tristan’s presence with his motorcycle.
"It seems like I’m late to pick you up," said Tristan, looking cool in his gray suit, jacket, and black hat.
"I didn’t ask you to pick up," replied Valerie with an awkward look. "Besides, I’m going to et my sister to go shopping," she continued.
"Oh... you going shopping?"
"Yes, there are many things I need to buy, so I’ll be with my sister."
Tristan smiled. "Coincidentally, I also need to go shopping because I haven’t stocked up on groceries at my new rented house," he said.
Valerie swallowed nervously, feeling difficult because once again she couldn’t avoid Tristan.
"Now, let’s ride the motorcycle together. I’ll take you to your sister’s house," said Tristan.
"But..."
"Co on..." Tristan reached out to take Daniel, then sat him in front of him, and grabbed the small helt provided in front of him. "Buddy, I bought a small helt for you... I hope it fits your head." He put the helt on Daniel’s head.
Valerie fell silent, thinking if Tristan still assud that she needed him to take care of Daniel or pick him up from daycare, hence buying a special helt for Daniel.
"Wow, it fits you perfectly!" Tristan smiled enthusiastically, seeing Daniel looking so cute with the small red helt.
Daniel looked up and held onto the helt while glancing at Tristan.
"It’s heavy," he said.
"Yes, but you’ll get used to it. It’s for your safety," replied Tristan, then turned to Valerie. "Co on... What are you waiting for?"
"Um, okay..." Valerie quickly sat behind Tristan, imdiately holding onto Daniel from behind.
Tristan imdiately took her to Adriana’s house, passing through the not-too-narrow alleys until they reached the main road. It only took about 2 minutes until they finally arrived at Adriana’s house, and she was already waiting near her car.
"Who’s that guy?" murmured Adriana, looking at Tristan who got off the motorcycle with Valerie and Daniel.
"Adriana," greeted Valerie.
Adriana imdiately pulled Valerie. "Who is he?" she whispered.
"Um, he..."
"I’m Tristan," said Tristan calmly, extending his hand to Adriana.
Adriana quickly shook his hand. "Adriana Maxwell... I’m Valerie’s sister."
"Oh..." Tristan smiled, retracting his hand. "You’re her sister, that’s why you two look so alike."
"Yeah... Why are you with her? I’ve never seen you before?" Adriana looked at Tristan suspiciously, as if examining his appearance. ’He doesn’t seem like soone who works in an office. His hair is also a bit long,’ she thought.
"He’s the person who helped Daniel yesterday," explained Valerie while glancing at Daniel, who imdiately leaned against her leg, then stroked his hair. "I don’t know what would’ve happened if he hadn’t helped us. Two mysterious n almost took him away," she continued with a worried look.
Adriana frowned. "Two mysterious n were trying to kidnap Daniel? That’s very strange! This area is known for its strong security, even kidnapping cases were around 20 years ago! Until now, there have been no kidnappings or criminal activities here!" She said enthusiastically, very surprised that she imdiately looked at Daniel and squatted down to hug him.
Valerie let Adriana hug Daniel while explaining to her about Tristan. Finally, she invited Tristan to go to the supermarket together using Adriana’s car.

In the health room, Damian sat hunched over while looking at Clara, who was still unconscious, even though he had left her alone for a few hours to work.
"Is she pretending or is she sick?" Damian stroked his slightly stubbled chin, then approached Clara and pinched her arm.
"Aww!"
Clara imdiately shrieked.
"You fucking liar!" Damian hissed with a sharp gaze.
"What do you an accusing of lying?" Clara asked, her eyes showing sadness. "You’ve hurt , and now I’m in this condition. How dare you say I’m lying!" she grumbled as she sat up, then held her head wearing a bandage on her forehead.
"I know you’re just pretending to faint!"
"How could I pretend it? Didn’t you see my head is injured?" Clara asked angrily.
Damian fell silent, turning his face away and sighing.
"I sincerely ca to apologize for what I did in the past because I left without being accountable for my actions," Clara said sadly. "I want to reconcile with Valerie... But I know it’s impossible, she’s already so disappointed in ," she continued with teary eyes.
"If you realize she’s disappointed in you, then never et again because it will only make her even more disappointed in you!" Damian exclaid, pointing at Clara. "If you truly regret your actions, and feel sorry for her, you should et her and apologize, not fulfill my needs!"
Clara hung her head.
"I’m sick of it, I don’t want to see you again! It will only make disgusted with myself!" Damian turned his face away, then walked to the glass window and looked outside. "Never et again after this, and don’t et Valerie either because it will only remind her of our bitter past... It could hurt her deeply and then she’ll hate again!"
"Okay... I won’t et her again, and maybe I don’t deserve forgiveness from both of you," Clara said, lowering her feet and picking up her bag from the table.
The girl stood up and was about to stand up but suddenly stumbled and fell.
"Ouch..."
Damian imdiately turned and approached Clara.
"Oh my God, my head is spinning!" Clara held her head.
"You’re going to bother !" Damian exclaid, helping Clara stand up again, and then helping her sit on the edge of the bed.
Clara glanced at Damian, who looked so handso and slled good. "I won’t bother you if you just help get back to the apartnt. Let my sister take care of ," she said.
"Are you sure? Don’t you want to go to the hospital?" Damian looked at Clara with doubt.
Clara shook her head. "Just take back to my apartnt, it’s still in the old apartnt."
"Okay..."
Damian glanced around and took the wheelchair that was already available near the cabinet containing dicines. He imdiately asked Clara to sit there, then pushed her towards the exit.
Suddenly his phone rang. He quickly took it from his black suit pocket and saw an incoming call from Karina.
"Hello?"
"Are you busy?" Karina asked from the phone.
"No, I’m not busy. I just need to do sothing for a mont," Damian replied, then pushed the wheelchair along with Clara toward the basent.
"That’s good, I need your help to prepare food for my parents because they’re coming over."
"Why don’t you just order food from a restaurant?" Damian asked lazily.
"Um, I could do that but I rember the doctor said that I shouldn’t eat fast food or restaurant food... I an, I’m afraid that the food doesn’t match the food recomnded by the doctor. You know I’m very sensitive now. .. ."I can’t eat the wrong food... It could make relapse," explained Karina, sounding stamred.
Demian exhaled roughly. "Well... I don’t know much about cooking but I’ll help you," he said.
Clara was silent, hearing Damian’s conversation, making her curious about who was talking to her, and why they had to ntion cooking.
’Could he be talking with Valerie?
