Chapter 160: following Karina
The next day...
Tristan woke up earlier than Karina, already neatly dressed in a gray and vanilla suit, with white shoes.
"Hey..." Karina sat up on her bed, covered with a blue sheet. "Are you going sowhere?"
"Yes..." Tristan replied shortly while combing his hair. "I’m eting up with an old friend... Do you want to co?" He turned to look at Karina.
Karina hesitated, as if pondering sothing.
"It would be really nice if you joined to et my friend," Tristan said with a smile, approaching Karina, then climbing onto the bed and kissing her cheek. "Are you interested in coming?"
"Um..." Karina bit her lower lip.
"What?"
"I feel really tired," Karina said, massaging her shoulders. "I just want to relax."
"Really?" Tristan furrowed his brow. "Do you want
to give you a massage?" He sat up straight.
"No no no!" Karina shook her head and smiled faintly. "You don’t need to do that. I just need so rest..."
Tristan fell silent, gazing deeply into Karina’s eyes.
"I want you to have fun with your friend, don’t worry about ." Karina smiled reassuringly, then hugged Tristan. "You’ve always put
first... Thank you so much... But today, I’ll set you free."
Tristan remained silent until Karina released her embrace.
"Why are you just quiet?" Karina asked.
"Nothing..." Tristan smiled faintly, then got up from the bed. "Okay then, I’ll leave now. Maybe we’ll et at the golf course..."
"That would be nice. It’s a sha I can’t join."
Tristan just smiled casually, then kissed Karina again and quickly left the room. He walked towards the apartnt’s main door with an ambitious look in his eyes.
"Now I need to know if your purpose here is sothing important or just seeking a change of scenery. I can’t really trust a drama queen like you," he thought, imagining Karina’s face.
...
In her room, Karina quickly got out of bed and hurriedly left the room for the bathroom.
"I have to go to the hospital right now. Fanny must die... She must not tell anyone that I instructed her to harm Valerie... I don’t want Tristan or anyone to hate ... I have to make sure I’ll be safe forever!" she thought anxiously, hastily washing her face and brushing her teeth.
About 20 minutes later, Karina was ready to leave the apartnt, wearing a casual yellow dress with open sleeves and a white branded bag, then tying her hair. She quickly approached the taxi waiting for her in front of the building.
"Take
to Erald Green Hospital."
The driver imdiately drove the light blue taxi, while Karina took her phone from her bag, watching a clip of a movie about making soone die while in a coma.
"Okay... I just need a few minutes there..."
...
From a distance, Tristan followed the taxi carrying Karina using a rented motorcycle, but he wore a blue helt from the outside so no one would recognize him, and he also wore a black jacket.
"What are you really going to do? Why do you never feel tired and satisfied enough with
in your life? Am I always bad in your eyes? Am I always ugly? Have you never felt that I an sothing to you? Then what is the aning of your sweetness all this ti... Why do you always lie and make yourself look so low by being a liar even if it’s all just for sothing aningless to you!" He said in his heart, his eyes reddening, teary, unable to hide his disappointnt, feeling betrayed.
About 15 minutes later, they finally arrived at Erald Green Hospital. Karina paid the taxi fare and entered the tallic-thed hospital, not too crowded. She hurriedly walked down a corridor until she t one of the female nurses.
"I don’t want to be involved, I won’t help you to end her life!" said a female nurse firmly. "But I’ve sabotaged the CCTV in that room."
"Katy, you don’t need to worry," Karina replied with a sly smile. "You just need to show
where that stupid girl’s room is!"
"She’s in VVIP room 065, second floor."
"Are there guards there?"
"At this hour, the guards are having breakfast... They only leave the room for about 20 minutes after asking a nurse to watch over her," Katy explained.
"In that case, you can watch over her." Karina looked at the short-haired Katy with arrogance. "I’ll pay... $20K."
"Okay... I’ll do it." Katy, then quickly walked to the elevator.
Karina followed her, but Katy stopped her in front of the elevator.
"Are you coming with
there? That’s crazy!" Katy exclaid.
"Okay... I’ll be there in five minutes," Karina replied.
Katy sighed heavily, then entered the elevator and closed it again. Karina remained standing in front of the elevator until suddenly her attention was drawn to her phone ringing in her bag.
"Who’s calling now? Don’t disturb !" She angrily took her phone, then saw that the caller was Tristan. "Him? Why is he calling? Does he think I miss him?" She wondered angrily, choosing not to answer the call.
After five minutes passed, the elevator doors opened again, and two muscular n stepped out.
’Maybe those are the dumb bodyguards watching over Fanny,’ she thought, glancing at them as they quickly left before she entered the elevator.
After a few minutes, the elevator opened again. Karina quickly walked down the corridor, occasionally looking right and left, checking the room numbers until suddenly she saw Katy coming out of one of the rooms, but she didn’t approach her. The nurse instead walked in the opposite direction, as if unaware of her presence.
"Oh... maybe this is a sign that I should enter now," she said, then hurriedly entered the room.
Helpless and hooked up to various dical equipnt, that’s how Fanny looked. She seed neither alive nor dead, her face pale and emaciated.
"Hey... Stupid girl!"
Karina looked at Fanny with a wicked smile. "I’ve co to send you to hell. I think it’s better than staying alive like this because you’re truly worthless!" She quickly put on the gloves available in her bag, then put them on while continuing to stare at Fanny.
