Lu Feng wanted to tell her that he was not the one who had beaten her yesterday.Lu Feng thought that no one would believe him; even he was still half-convinced that he was dreaming.
Although Jiang Xiaoyan was only twenty-three years old, she was very handy in the kitchen. She looked at the kitchen and sighed.

Jiang Xiaoyan noticed that Lu Feng wasn't moving his chopsticks and spoke, "There's no soy sauce at ho. Don't get mad, make do with what you have. If you want to eat well, you can go to your friends."
"That's fine," Lu Feng picked up his chopsticks and with them, lifted up the lotus egg in his bowl and placed it in Duo Duo's bowl.
Duo Duo stared wide-eyed at the egg in her bowl and then at Jiang Xiaoyan, who didn't dare move her chopsticks.
Lu Feng placed the other egg in Jiang Xiaoyan's bowl.
All she could think of was that Lu Feng was asking for money again.
"We don't have any money at ho and I can't get an advance on my salary, so if this continues Duo Duo and I will starve to death." Jiang Xiaoyan pleaded.
She was afraid of annoying Lu Feng, afraid of another beating; as she spoke, tears were falling into her bowl.
"Mummy don't cry, mummy don't cry!" Duo Duo rushed to wipe Jiang Xiaoyan's tears.
"I... I didn't say I wanted money." Lu Feng, a person who was most afraid of won crying had his hands full for a while. Not knowing what to do, he hurriedly said, "I'm not working now either, you work every day and Duo Duo is growing, the eggs are for both of you to eat."
