[Valhalla Family’s Estate.]

"Those children... It’s truly fortunate that Leyla is now permitted to attend school with them," Ethan remarked, a warm smile gracing his lips, his gaze fixed on the laptop resting on his lap.

"True," Amara agreed, her nimble fingers peeling an orange. "It’s a good thing Christopher was able to assist the academy, allowing them to accept Leyla, even though registration had already closed."

"Yeah," Ethan nodded in acknowledgnt, then turned his head to face his wife. "You recall what John ntioned yesterday, don’t you?"

"Which part?" Amara asked, turning her head to face him.

"That Christopher has five individuals backing him, with one even at the supre level."

"Yes... I rember hearing that, and I believe I’ve already encountered one of those individuals," she confessed, a subtle smile playing on her lips.

"Really?" Ethan’s eyes widened in genuine surprise.

"Indeed... She possesses imnse power."

"She... Hmm..."

Ethan paused for a mont, deep in thought, before nodding. "I have a question."

"What is it?" Amara inquired, her attention returning to the half-peeled orange in her hand.

"Why did you invite those girls to dinner? And why did you treat the eldest as if she were already your daughter-in-law?"

"Oh... You an Advika and Sylvia?"

Ethan nodded.

"I genuinely like those girls, especially Advika," she explained. "Having her with Christopher would be a very good thing."

’Of course,’ Amara mused inwardly, her smile widening. ’That girl possesses an exceptionally high affinity with the fire elent, the strongest I’ve ever witnessed. With her by Christopher’s side, his strength and protection would significantly increase. If they were to marry, it would be even more magnificent... Perhaps that beast egg he acquired was intended for her? Ha! I certainly hope so.’

Ethan watched his wife’s broadening smile, a slight frown creasing his brow. ’What is she plotting now?’ he wondered.

RING!

Amara turned her head, her gaze falling upon her phone. Upon seeing the contact displayed, she raised an eyebrow, picked up the device, and answered, placing it on speaker.

"What happened?" she inquired, her tone firm.

"I apologize, Silver Sword... You know I would never call you if this wasn’t an urgent matter."

"I hope this line is secure?" Amara pressed, her voice betraying a hint of concern.

"Oh! Yes. Yes," the male voice on the other end quickly affird.

"Good... Tell , what has transpired?" Amara asked, demanding an explanation.

"Hmm... Silver Sword. There is a beast currently heading towards Cordelia City, a Sky stage beast."

Amara and Ethan both frowned, their expressions clouding at his words.

"Are you certain about this?" she asked, her voice laced with skepticism.

"Actually, no... I’m not certain if it’s a Sky stage Beast, but everyone hopes it is... If this beast is beyond that stage..."

"Nothing will happen," Amara interjected, her voice brimming with a quiet confidence. "How does the governnt intend to handle this?" she inquired.

"Well... They are mobilizing all military forces, along with Tars and also freshn from the top three Tar Academies," the man explained.

"Alright... Thank you... Wait, when is this beast expected to reach Cordelia?"

"In a month," the man answered.

"You’ve got to be kidding ?! Why are you calling now?!" she exclaid, her patience wearing thin.

"Oh. Oh. I was instructed to inform you! At the very least, you should be aware of this," the voice quickly retorted, trying to appease her.

"Alright. Alright... Don’t call again until perhaps a week before the due date."

"Yes."

Amara disconnected the call and placed the phone back on the couch, lost in thought.

"What are you planning?" Ethan asked, observing her intently.

"The beast will arrive in a month... And the Tar Academy competition is set to begin in less than four days, while the International Tar competition will comnce in five months... And then there’s also the Golden Organization, and the wolves... All lurking in the shadows, awaiting an opportune mont to strike... We must also grow stronger."

"Amara, we are getting old; we should begin to live our lives and leave the rest to the youngsters," Ethan suggested, turning his head back to his laptop.

"...You’re too old for training, but when it cos to money, you’re not old?" She rose from her seat and began walking towards the stairs.

"Hey? Don’t be upset," Ethan called out, a hint of concern in his voice.

Amara paused, looking back at him over her shoulder. "We are getting stronger not for the sake of Cordelia, but for the sake of our family... Money cos and goes, but once you lose a family, they never return."

With that, she continued her ascent, leaving Ethan in thoughtful silence.

Ethan stared after her for several seconds, then slowly closed his laptop.

’We all lost soone, Amara... , you, and even the strongest man alive... Power isn’t everything. Sotis, it’s important to learn to simply enjoy life, because once you lose it, you will never get it back.’

[Tar Academy.]

Christopher sat comfortably on a sofa in the Dean’s elaborately decorated office, his eyes fixed intently on Monica and the Dean who sat opposite him.

"What happened? Why was I called?" he finally broke the palpable tension in the room.

The two exchanged a brief glance before sighing in unison.

"Christopher, have you by any chance offended Master Alex?" the Dean inquired, his tone cautious.

"Master Alex?" Christopher repeated, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "Did he request that you expel from the academy?" he asked, a hint of challenge in his voice.

"No. No. No..." the Dean quickly clarified. "He rely requested that we not allow you to participate in the academy competition."

"Oh..." Christopher scoffed lightly.

"What was your response?" he asked, leaning back, an air of relaxed confidence about him.

"Of course, we refused him," Monica interjected, unable to contain herself any longer.

"Hmm... Aren’t you intimidated by his retaliation?" Christopher asked, further relaxing into the sofa, observing their reactions.

"Why would we be scared of that boy?" the Dean scoffed, shaking his head. "If it were three masters, we might be intimidated, but him, no way."

"Yes. We have lost this academy competition every single year, and now... Soone erges from nowhere and instructs us to kick out our star participant. Does he truly believe he wields any power within this academy?!" Monica spat out, her voice laced with indignation.

Christopher’s gaze shifted from the old man to Monica, a silent assessnt taking place.

’Like father, like daughter... So students might not be aware of this, but this Principal is the Dean’s only daughter,’ he chuckled inwardly.

’It seems the two of them genuinely want to stay... You dared to defy Alex. And for that, I will assist you in securing a victory in this competition,’ he thought, a subtle smile forming on his lips.
