"....." Victor felt uneasy when he did not hear a reply for a long ti. When he turned to look at her, he noticed that she had taken out earphones at so point and was talking to soone on the phone. He closed his eyes and took a breath of relief. He had beco too noisy now. Despite knowing that she did not like people helping her or taking pity on her, he was going to offer her help.
Her voice slowly died on the phone and she then looked at him.
"Sorry, I received a call. Were you saying sothing?" she smiled at him. The smile washed away his despair and he smiled again.
"Yes, I was asking, would you like to try hotdogs here? They make the best ones." Nora followed her gaze and noticed that he was pointing at a small cart not any luxurious shop suiting his position. With a chuckle, she nodded.
They both stopped their cycles and ordered two hotdogs.
"Have you been here before?" Nora was looking around like a curious child that surprised him. It was a common hanging place for kids from all kinds of status. There was a gaming zone and amusent park nearby. And a large market where you can get all kinds of shopping items and trinkets.
Nora looked at the distance as she shook her head. Even in her two lifetis, she never got the chance to co to places like this. The reply instantly made his chest tightened. He did not even rember how many tis he had been there with friends or family when he was young. He was sure every person in his school had been here.
"Would you like to go to an amusent park? It would be fun. We can always buy study material after that?" his eyes glead as he asked so. What was there to feel bad about? If she had not seen sothing, he would take the chance and show her. He would be the first person she would smile with. The thought trembled his heart and a strange anticipation grew in his heart.
Nora looked at his excited face. She had just received a call from Alric asking where she was and when she was returning. Alex was going out with friends already in the evening and he wanted her to follow him. But that was not the problem. She had heard Victor, but she had intentionally played dumb. How could she not read the child of a young man? Relationships would be the last thing she would think about.
"I received a call from..."
"I know you are about to refuse to use the call. But I will still ask you to co with again. Just once!" his gaze was pleading. Who would believe that the idol of their school would co begging to go to an amusent park with a girl. Nora looked around, his gaze was a weak point. She was already guilty that she was using his design and asking money from him.
"Only for two hours." She closed her eyes at the end and could not refuse.
"Good, you would not regret it." He threw the hotdog directly in the trash can and held her hand. He wanted to drag her to the entrance before she would change her mind again. Looking at him, she was speechless. But the way he dragged her with a bright smile on his face, her heart started to soften. Perhaps it would not be such a bad experience.
Since it was still early in the morning, there was not a long line at the ticket counter. They easily entered the amusent park in ten minutes.
There was a giant door and all kinds of rides were in front of her. She had seen that kind of place in movies.
How much her daughter would have enjoyed if she had been there. That giant wheel would have made her laugh or shriek with excitent.
"Co, we should try that." he dragged her toward the giant wheel. He had bought premium tickets with the price of all the tickets included in it. So they did not need to stand again in line. It was a waste since no one could take all the rides but he did not care.
He tied her safety belt for her feeling extrely pleased. Now that they were sitting so close, he could feel her fragrance and her arms were brushing with his arm. It was so soft that his heart pounded. He wanted to touch her more. The mont he had accepted his feelings for her, he was being more and more attracted toward her.
When they reached the highest point. He wanted to kiss her.
"Have you heard.." but in the end, he refused to talk about that famous belief that if lovers kiss at the highest point on the ferris wheel, they would never get parted.
"Hmm?" she turned to look at him. Her hair was dancing in the air and her eyes looked bright. He could not take away his gaze from her and it unconsciously fell on her lips.
"That you enjoy this place more at night. Perhaps we should co again later?" she laughed and shook her head.
"We have only co here and you want to co again." He was truly like a child. Perhaps her daughter would have said so too.
"Yes, I want to. Would you co with ?" He held her hands and stared at her. Was that a pout? She laughed heartily and nodded her head.
Even when she had added no fancy words, he felt over the moon hearing her acceptance.
"Next ti.. I will surely do it." he promised himself while he did not let her hand go under the pretense of fear.
After that, he tried every dangerous looking ride and held her hands shalessly. Since she is not afraid, he had to be afraid.
"I think we should stop now. You will be dizzy if we continue."
