"Hey! How are you?" Nat hugged the young girl. "Nora is worried about you. She asked you to call her through landline when you have ti. She had a lot of explaining to do." Nat shook her head as she patted the girl and let go.
"I am fine! I will call her. But doc had explained to enough to not need any more explanation." Max coughed in the background. And she wondered how easily his face turned red everyti.
"I will leave you two." he nodded like a gentleman again. Could he stop being so caring and perfect.
Emma nodded with a smile and closed the door behind them.
"You are going out with him!" she whispered like they were going to do sothing dirty! Nat looked away.
"Yes, this house needs a lot of things." Emma nodded, sighing.
"But he is a hot and green flag." Nat coughed and looked grim.
"He is my doctor and my boss. What kind of wild ideas are you having?" She walked to the bed since there was nothing else to sit on.
"Oh! This is going to be uncomfortable. A chir would be better so that you can lean on it when I do the make up." Emma looked around frowning. "This house really needs shipping."
"There are two chairs in the dining room. Shall I bring them for you?" Nat stood up when the door knocked.
They both looked at each other as Nat ca to open the door. Macx was sitting there staring at the ground as if it was covered with graffiti. He was holding a chair in his hands.
"I thought this would be needed." he didn’t raise his head to et her eyes as he walked in and placed the chair in front of the mirror. Then he looked at Emma.
"Do you need anything else?" Emma shook her head but her eyes were full of mischief and questions. The mont Max nodded and left the room, she bounced on Nat.
"Wow! What was that!" she grinned slyly. "Could be read your mind after living with you for just two days." living with her! Those words sounded ambiguous and left a strange image in Nat;s mind.
"What are you talking about! I told that he is my boss and I work here." Emma wrigged her brows and grinned.
"Gosh! I want this kind of man to offer a job too. I want to cook for him and even clean his body so that his hands do not get tired." Nat’s face burnt. For so reason, she rembers him washing dishes. The mundane task looked so different when he did it with his perfectly sculpted hands.
"He looked like adonis." Emma whispered again and Nat pushed her away.
This girl was here to corrupt her.
"You can ask for a job too then. I am sure he would not refuse you." Emma pouted looking hurt but she grinned and pulled Nat on the chair.
"No! I will make sure that he does not keep his eyes away from you to look at soone else." Nat’s heart skipped a beat. But she pushed that thought away. She realized the thoughts were returning frequently.
"Emma.." Emma clicked her tongue and started doing makeup.
Nat did not understand why she needed makeup at first. But as she watched the golden hair covering her thick brown hair and her eyebrows turning blonde too matching her eyelashes, she was shocked. She never knew that you need to match all those with the wig.
Not only that, she could not recognize her face anymore. It looked so different from earlier. She watched herself in fascination.
When Emma finished the job, Nat looked completely different.
"My job taught to change my face often and never reveal my identity. Your na is Laura when you go out. Nora said she is working hard on it and soon you would have a new identity with this na.
She will co and explain so day." Nat nodded. She knew Nora had already done enough but could not help but feel relieved that she would not live no na for a long ti.
"She even asked if you wanted a particular na, if not this? Please call her." Emma squeezed her shoulders and nat sighed.
"I will.."
"And do not cry! If you ruin the makeup, you could not go out." Emma leaned closer as if adjusting her wig. But she whispered in her ear instead. "And that hot doctor out there would look like an abandoned puppy if left alone." Before Nat could react and scold Emma, Emma grinned and took a step back.
"Alright, ready to go." When Emma opened the door, Max was walking in the corridors talking on the phone with a grim face.
He looked so serious with a solemn look on his face. Emma leaned on the door and sighed.
"Is he not handso?"
"He is almost a decade older to us." Nat whispered standing behind Emma.
"I am into older n. They know how to take care of young girls like us. Or do you want those young clueless boys to take care of you when they are so full of themself? Have you not learnt from Nora?" Nat didn’t know about Nora’s past.
She ignored Emma who sighed as she packed her things and left.
"Give a call honey whenever you want to go out." she confird and then nodded at Max and left.
Max noticed they were done and finished the call soon. When he turned, Nat was standing behind him.
He blinked twice before smiling. That smile lted the wall she had created for hours.
"You look unrecognizable." he smiled and she sighed. Why did she believe that he would say sothing else?
"Not beautiful?" she pressed for so reason cursing herself in her heart.
He paused, as if the thought never crossed her mind and she held her breath.
"No! You look more beautiful with your original face. This one looked plastic!"
