"You are looking gorgeous." Emma nodded too when Nora stood up from her seat. Her body felt relaxed after a good sleep. Her skin was radiating and her eyes, were they always this large and beautiful?

She looked like a princess from a fairy tale wearing a suit.

"I knew this olive one would suit you better." the woman smiled as she looked at Nora. "Do you want to change anything madam?" she asked, finally putting a beautiful diamond bracelet on her wrist.

Nora looked at herself and shook her head. She was looking perfect.

"Then how about you go and seek approval from sir." One of them bead and the other looked at Nora with desperation too.

Nora bit her lips but she knew they were all threatened to co here. She could only nod. But for so reason, she felt nervous.

"Then I will go and invite him." Emma offered and left the room.

"Madam, please add so good words for us." the girl begged Nora again. They looked at her with pleading eyes and Nora did not have the courage to refuse.

"Alright, I will do that."

When Alric ca, he stopped at the door. His eyes road on her face making her blush again.

"Sir, Miss Stone is looking beautiful." Alric finally tore his gaze away as if the spell had been broken.

"Yes, the girls had done a trendous job. I could not recognize myself in the mirror." Nora said as she looked at her hands again. Her heart was racing. For so reason, she felt nervous again.

Alric nodded at them, making them smile brightly.

"I will send the bonus as offered." cheers filled the room as the girls hugged each other looking happy. Nora watched amused as they left dancing with joy.

"What bonus did you offer them?" she asked standing up. Alric smiled at her as he extended his hand.

"Six months salary!" That was indeed a generous bonus. Nora’s lips parted as she slowly nodded.

"We are only for a simple conference. I am only a ga designer. I did not even develop it or refine it. Perhaps, I am only going to sit in the corner and nod a few tis. Why do we need to do this much?" she sighed as she felt it was all a waste.

"Because it is your first eting with the reporters. I want them to rember you and follow you every ti you will be in public. I want you to be so popular that the whole world knows you, looks up to you. This could be your training for the future." Nora shook her head. She would rather prefer a private life even when she knew she could not afford it.

"Now shall we go?" Nora nodded and he guided her toward her car.

Emma sat on the back seat with Max.

"You are coming too." Max smiled and shook his head.

"I had a surgery scheduled." he glared at Alric who seed to be ignorant.

"You are coming because of the land." Max shut his mouth and sighed. Then he looked at Nora again.

"You are looking beautiful" his eyes flickered for a second before going dim and he looked outside.

Nora felt bad that she had completely forgotten about this man. She had hinted to the manager to court Max. but she never checked who he was dating.

"Max! It had been a long ti. Are you still single or dating soone?" she asked in a cheerful voice when she felt Alric shifting.

Max forced a smile on his face.

"I am planning to get married soon. I will send you an invitation." Although he was talking about his marriage, he did not look happy at all.

She felt Alric stiffening too before starting the car.

"Congratulations. Who is the lucky girl?" it could not be. Could it?

"Nora, i never knew that you have interest in video gas. Since you are talented in that area, how about we start a videoga company? It would be a good way to expand." Nora frowned. She looked at Alric who seed serious.

But she knew he was only diverting the topic. And Max looked relieved by the idea. Alric had dragged Max from the work, sothing he had never done before.

Sothing had gone wrong.

"Max, do you rember the manager of your floor? What was her na? The girl with brown hair and pointed nose... she had told to visit her if I needed help." Max frowned looking at her.

"Your description suits half of the girls, even yourself." he shook his head, "you should go and see! I do not know most of the non dical staff to be honest. They are rude." he grumbled and then looked at Alric as if he was included in it.

Nora’s eyes dimd as she looked away. She had been vague to see if the girl had left any impression on Max! It only ant that she did not approach him. Then who was he dating?

She dreaded for the past to repeat itself. She thought she had ddled enough but now.. Why did he date her in the past? He was a kind person but it did not an that he was foolish to fall for a wrong person.

Alric married Amyra because of his family but what convinced Max?

"Then who do you like? Do you have a girl in mind?" she probed again. Max went silent suddenly and Alric noticed the change in mood.

"For soone who is already committed, you seem to be too interested in the love life of others. What happened Nora, are you having second thoughts or comparing your options?" Alric teased looking at her in the mirror.

"Let tell you, Max is a loyal brother. He would not betray for a girl. Morver, I am his boss." Max raised a brow at his boost.

"Are you using your position to bully now, boss?"
