Nora was shocked. She looked at Alric as if he had grown another head.
"Bring her back? At this crucial mont?" even when she was so worried about her and her child, she had never dared to think about it. But Alric spoke as if it did not matter. "He would know then!"
"And?" Alric raised a brow. He ran a hand on her back. The mood slowly shifted and she could notice that cold smirk on his face. She knew that look from the past.
It told her that he was ready to kill if needed.
"Chris Benard had taken a large amount from the market. The mont his new business would fail, he would go bankrupt. Even if he had the funds to support his private life then, it would not be enough to save him from the cris he had committed.

The look of affection and love with such cold words! Only he could bring such strange emotions to her heart. Nora wanted to curse but at the sa ti she wanted to lean on his chest and took a deep breath.

"You are bad Mr Spencer." she whispered as she punched his chest.
"And you are wicked, miss Stone!" he held her hand and then covered it with his large hand and slowly their fingers entwined.
She knew he was watching their hands intently. Her heart stirred again for completely different reasons this ti. Would he kiss her? It had been so long since they had been intimate. This ti she was an adult. Would they finally do it?
She gulped a lump. Her body started to stir strangely and she could feel the heat in the pit of her stomach just with the thought. No! Nora shook her head. It was all in the past. And Alric was not that narrow minded to care about it. Right?
She looked at him as she failed to understand her own thoughts. Just a minute ago she was worried that her first ti in this life would be in a car. And now that he had let her go, she was worried that he did not take her!?

"You did not ask where I was taking you!" he smirked and laughed when she blushed. But she was relieved that he did not push her and changed the topic.
She coughed to clear her throat and opened the window. The heat in the car was too much for her. As the cold wind touched her burning cheeks, she felt so relief and her mind started to clear.
"Where were we going?" she looked out. This road leads to the Spencer family main house. "Were we going to et Alex and Ava?" she looked at her clothes and then at her face in the mirror. She looked like a zombie.
"No!" he sighed. "We must go and et Ava. she is worried for you. Even Alex had told her that he wanted to et you. He had seen you in the exam hall and called you but you did not reply to her. He did not tell her but she thinks that he is worried you would bla her." Nora felt her cheeks burning again but this ti with guilt.
She had written the exam in a semi conscious state. She could not hear anyone or see anyone. Her mind was swirling with the mories of her past. She did not rember eting him. Did she walk past him or did he call for her and she behaved as if she did not hear him? He must have misunderstood.
"It is alright. You have the last exam tomorrow. You can talk to him there if you are ready." Nora shook her head. She was not even surprised that he did not bla her for anything. This man was a gem! Did she even deserve him?
"This road leads to Benard’s old house too where Natalie is right now. I have taken her location from my n. Since you were so worried about her, I decided to take her right now. Tell , Nora. shall we do it?"
