Nora watched the car driving away with dim eyes. Her face had a hint of pain as if she was bleeding.
The mont the car was far away, she went to the hospital and confird the reason for Nat ’s visit.
When she reached the obgyn section, the nurse was surprised.
"Madam!" Everyone knew that Nora was their future madam. They were highly respectful toward her. "I was coming to you only." She took out a note from her pocket and passed it to her.
"There is a lady who visited for a check up. She requested us to pass you this note saying you are her friend. And.." the nurse hesitated, "she begged us to hide this from her boyfriend." Nora nodded and stared at the letter. and then at the clinic. Her eyes had a myriad of emotions that were hard to understand.
"Is she pregnant?" hearing her conflicted voice, the nurse was curious but she knew better than to ask directly. She nodded at Nora. and then after so hesitation added,
"Madam, your friend had various marks on her body. It seems like she was not treated well by her boyfriend. And when she ca to know she was pregnant, she did not look happy." She did not even ask how to take care of herself or the baby as if she did not want to have it. And strangely the violent boyfriend looked pleased with the news.
The nurse did not speak her thoughts but Nora kept staring at the clinic.
"What date is it today?" For so reason, her voice was shaky. The nurse furrowed her brows looking confused.
"Today is the 5th of March, madam." Nora closed her eyes. Her face looked pale instantly.
"Alright, thank you." She left the hospital with shaky footsteps. She did not know how she reached her room. She went straight to the bathroom and started the shower.
As the cold water drops touched her clothes, she shivered and blinked.
"Aaahhhhh!" a gut wrenching scream left her lips as the water drenched her cold body. Her tears drowned in the water and it was hard to find if the father falling on her face was water or her tears.
She could not feel the cold seeping into her bones as she stood there, lost in her thoughts. A child! Nat was with a child. It was the sa ti when she got pregnant with Chris’s child. Fifth of march! Five days before her birthday when she ca to know that she was pregnant.
When she had co for check up, her body had several marks and the nurse looked concerned. Chris had told her that it did not matter if she was not an adult. She will be there in five days. But if she kept the child, he would treat her much better.
She was tempted by his promise and decided to keep the child. She gave birth to a daughter later. The girl was so small, so soft. It was a miracle that she gave birth since she was so weak!
Her whole life flashed past her eyes as she stood under the cold water. The water droplets worked as a screen where she watched her journey of pregnancy. Chris was a beast! He did not stop having rough sex with her, or beating her randomly while having sex for the kink.
Later, he would apologize and in the end, he even hired a nurse to take care of her. Nora’s whole body started shaking and burning. Before her vision turned black and she fell on the ground.

When Alric returned ho, he was surprised to see that the main door was open. With a frown he closed it and called for Nora.
But he heard no reply.
"Nora!" He checked her room but it was empty. He was about to leave when he heard the sound of a shower. He frowned watching the ti again. He had co late, so Nora did not take a bath at this ti.
He walked closer and knocked on the door twice.
"Nora! Are you alright?" He waited for a reply but when he received no response, he sighed.
He went to her closet and took out a fresh set of clothes for her. It was a normal bath, yet for so reason he was uneasy. So instead of going to his room and washing himself, he waited for her to finish her bath first.
Five, ten, fifteen minutes had passed but Nora did not co out. Frowning, he went to the door and knocked again.
"Nora! It is still cold. You should not take such a long bath." he spoke in a loud voice this ti. But only silence greeted him in response.
"Nora! If you do not reply, I will break the door and co in." he warned her in a restless voice. In the morning, she was better.
She was writing her final report for the exams. Her exam will start in two days. And he was planning her gift. The mood was sweet and happy.
Did sothing happen in his absence? He started knocking with more force as anxiety increased.
When he did not hear any reply after trying so many tis, he started pushing the door. Still no sound ca from the other side. Now he was sure sothing had happened, he went to the kitchen and took out the second key.
As the owner, he had the key for every lock. It took him only three minutes to find the right key and open the door. He was stunned to see Nora on the ground. She was even wearing outdoor heels and clothes.
The cold shower was falling on her body and she was lying unconscious beneath it. Only God knew how long it had been since she was there.
Cursing, he closed the shower and picked her wet body. Her skin was freezing and wrinkled. Her hair was clinging to her skin. He took her to the bed and slapped her arm a few tis.
"Nora! Nora! Can you hear ?"
